Worth the money!

I would not have landed a full time job if it wasn't for Labtuit! They did a fantastic job and I would recommend this service to anyone. I wouldn’t have received nearly as many interviews, and this offer, if it wasn’t for Labtuit.

The only notes I have would be some small changes in the Job Tracker doc. A lot of the responses I got back said something along the lines of “I forwarded your info to HR,” (they forwarded my resume but didn’t connect me to HR directly) so perhaps there should be an option for that.

Otherwise, I’ll definitely recommend Labtuit to anyone I know looking for a job. Especially while a lot of people are dealing with COVID job loss, having any kind of extra help is crucial. Labtuit is an investment in yourself and will lead to results.

Highly Recommend Working with Labtuit

I highly recommend working with Labtuit. They tailor their approach to all career levels and professional sectors. I'm a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience and I learned so much. Not only does my resume look incredible but the job searching strategies helped me discover new jobs. Brian, my advisor was top notch! Brian gave me tangible feedback and coaching that helped me immensely throughout the process. I landed my dream job in a role I have never done before but have always wanted to do. I was prepared throughout the interview process because of Labtuit’s tools, mock interviews, and guidance! I cannot express this enough, hire them! You will learn invaluable skills, tools, and strategies that you will take with you throughout your entire career.

Good service for most job seekers; needs some improvement on internal processes

In the competitive climate many of us find ourselves, Labtuit certainly brings value and a talented team to assist those looking for new (or a change to their current) employment. For most job seekers or (perhaps) folks making profound career changes, Labtuit's people, services and resources will be helpful in giving you that extra needed edge that will hopefully set you apart from the masses. In particular, if your someone that's young/very new/very green to a profession - or if you're someone whose been working within your profession for sometime but has always struggled with insecurities tied to the interviewing process - Labtuit should be able to help you. But you must also put in the work yourself; its a two-way street to get true value out of their services.

However, Labtuit could benefit from improvements to their processes, communication and organization of many of their materials. Being a young and small startup, I suspect these shortcomings are typical byproducts of being such an organization and I suspect that will improve in due time.

From 1 to 10 it is an 11

I reached out to Labtuit after applying to multiple positions at different companies with no success. At the beginning I was skeptical, because I knew very few about the company and their services.

First of all, there is a great team of real people behind Labtuit. They explained me their services thoroughly and we review the terms of the agreement so everything was crystal clear. They helped me polish my resume, establish an amazing network that actually works and prepare for the different stages in the job search.

I am happy to have crossed paths with Labtuit, and their help in preparing the interviews gave me the confidence I was lacking of to pursue my goals. After almost three months of working with them I got my first job offer.

They are willing to help others and will try to accommodate to your schedule and needs. They are there to help, but always be sure to put effort and do your part, otherwise the job search won't be fruitful.

Thanks, Labtuit. I will always be grateful for your support and for the professionalism and confidence you brought to my career life.

Great experience with Labtuit

I have first read about Labtuit on LinkedIn in a comment that someone left in a post where someone was looking for a job, or complaining about losing the current job due to Covid. I have looked into other career coaching offers, like improving your resume, LinkedIn profile, sessions of coaching etc, but they were not offering the full service like Labtuit does. Labtuit offers all of that and much more, and the best thing is you only have to pay a down payment but the rest only after you get the job! I think that is unique in the market.

Labtuit have helped me land a great job, they have a really great technique and strategy that really does work, as long you are willing to put the effort as well.
They have been very transparent and offered great materials to read, follow up, take action with their help, they have provided me with support throughout the whole application and interview process. They have been very knowledgeable and provided me with the best advice or route to follow, they have also been very prompt in answering to any questions or urgent issues I had. I appreciated their fairness and professionalism!

I definitely recommend Labtuit in the job search and interview process, as they provide objective and professional advice, and that is definitely needed when emotions get involved, frustrations and confusion arise, you have lots of questions (instead of asking your friends and family) and you may lose track of certain details or things on the way. They have visibility over what is happening in the market and the tendencies are. Especially nowadays when the recruiting and interview processes has adapted to Covid restrictions, you need someone to hold your hand and guide you and I found Labtuit.

Best and easiest way to get a job is through Labtuit

Labtuit has taken a lot of initiatives in getting me referrals and contacts.
The advisors at labtuit were very responsive to my email even during the weekend.
The process was easy for me to get interview calls.
Initially was good.
I got placed as a Data analyst. But due to covid, I was not able to get as many interviews as I expected. Maybe if not covid this would have worked for me much better.

Reply to Labtuit's response

"Thanks!
1- We looked through our database for a "Saver McSaverson" that signed up for a Consultation call and we couldn't find this name"

The fact that you thought to look up someone named "Saver McSaverson" just proves how incompetent you and your organization is. I used it as a pseudonym so as to avoid harassment.

"2- We have (and still do) connect folks who ask us to get in touch with current and past users. Actually, we've seen intsances where folks reach out directly to our users via Linkedin without even asking to go through us. We usually do 1-2 connections after we ask our users if that is ok with them, to make sure we don't bombard our users with connections' requests (as these tend to be a lengthy phone call to learn more about our users' experience with labtuit and asking follow up questions)."

3- We never ghost someone who is interested in the service. In very rare cases, an email goes to Spam (and we're not aware of that as apparently Spam emails get automatically deleted in 30 days) . If that is the case in this situation, please feel free to forward us to us and we'll respond"

I sent two emails requesting references before proceeding, and didn't hear back from you. Thus why I said you'd ghosted me.

"4- As for the cancellation period, we put a $125 per hour just to ensure only serious candidates sign up for the service as we have limited slots, and we want to give priortity to those who really need our service the most. However, as a one time exception, we're happy to offer 1 session (complementray, free of charge) so you'll try out our service. If you're dissatifed, you can part ways without any fee per hour. We're offering this under the assumption that your email did indeed go to Spam and we didn't see it (thus didn't respond), so to apologize for that."

If you were truly sure of your capabilities you wouldn't have to charge except for when someone gets a job because of your help. Making someone pay you because they figured out you're a scam is the ultimate scam.

"We hope to hear from you - we looked through our data base for your name so we can contact you, and get this resolved, but we didn't find you. We hope you contact us directly. We can be reached at advisors (at) labtuit.com

Thanks!"

Again- Saver McSaverson is obviously a pseudonym which you were incompetent enough to look for in your database. I do not intend to reply to you via email to avoid harassment.

Great Service - You Don't Pay Until You Work!

My experience working with Labtuit, and more specifically, Brian & Justin, was nothing short of amazing 5 star service. From the initial interview to the resume rewrite, coaching and most importantly for me, the shared google doc job tracker, these guys were top notch pros all the way. Justin crafted an outstanding resume for me and Brian was there every step of the way. For me personally, the job tracker and subsequent out reach campaign was just unbelievably good. I could go on and on, but what I will say is that during these crazy times it was nice to have a sounding board (Brian) when things didn't go well or a job got pulled out from under me due to COVID. And it was nice to have Justin working the out reach campaign which in turn kept me motivated to keep applying day after day until something stuck. I would highly recommended using Labtuit and if I'm ever in the job market again, I most certainly will. Thank you again everyone at Labtuit!

Thank You Labtuit Team

Brian and everyone at Labtuit provided excellent assistance as I landed my new career opportunity. I can truly say that without their assistance and guidance throughout my career search (from career advice, interview preparation, job offer negotiation, and so much more, I would not have landed the role that I am in today. I strongly recommend using Labtuit for your next career search, as there is no question that you will soon find the the best career opportunity.

Disappointing. All hype, no real value.

My resumé looked great because the contractor, who ALSO resigned from Labtuit in less than a month, did a great job! Labtuit did not.
Who sends an email without an introduction or explanation? In my experience, only the unprofessional and insignificant.
Labtuit needs to own its mistakes and failures of Labtuit actually wishes to be of service to clients. Your response is based solely in ego and is in no way an effort to be reasonable.

My experience with Labtuit has been horrendous. They are tremendously disorganized and change resume writers and advisor practically on a daily basis. I’ve never gotten the impression that anyone there really cares about clients, and they consistently blame being a “startup” as justification for their foibles, mistakes and disappointments.

Thanks Mhyr! We appreciate your feedback.

We'll stick to the facts in explaining what happened:

- For the resume rewrite that our team completed for you, you shared via email

"My resume looks great! thank You~
You are tremendously gifted!"

- Then our team member shared your Google Drive with you, which had your rewritten resume and the rest of your material.

- You requested to cancel the agreement because our team member shared your Google Drive with you without explaining what it is.

You emailed us saying

" I would like to cancel this contract, due SOLELY to the lack of professional exhibited by (team member name)"

- When we inquired why you felt there was lack of professionalism, you shared it is because the team member shared the Drive without explaining what it is and writing him back and not yet hearing back. We don't usually work on weekends (unless if there is a user who'd like a session over the weekend) and we responded in less than 2 business days, explaining what the Google Drive is.

- Despite offering to help and explaining what the Drive is, you insisted to cancel, and we said we are happy to honor a free cancellation.

- We waived all fees, including for the resume rewrite that you confirmed you were happy with.

We own up to any mistake we made, and we learn from any experience we go through. However, in this case, we are sharing the facts as this was the first (and only) time we go through such an experience with a user. We share Google Drive with our hundreds of users all the time, and we never got such a response on sharing the user's Google Drive with the user.

Best of luck with your job search, and as always, we're here to support our users in their job search

My personal experience using Labtuit

My personal experience using Labtuit

- The first thing they did is assign you an advisor. Mine was a guy named Brian. Really kind guy and seemed to genuinely care about me and my wellbeing.

- From there pretty much you have to sign a contract that states once you get a job you'll owe them 3% through payments of your first 3 paychecks etc etc

- After that they'll create a new resume for you based on your skills, experience, etc. Then, you just apply to the jobs you want, put the job title in a shared google doc with Labtuit, and they will cold email employees from an email they asked you to create and have joint access to.

- To be honest, this was a little awkward at first but after awhile you DO GET responses.

After everything:

After about 6 months I finally got a job. In all honesty I might have gotten it without Labtuit, so it kind of sucks I have to pay them 3%. BUT I think it was simply due to me not having experience. Because of me not having experience pretty much everywhere that was cold emailed didn't really seem to want me. I did get lots of interviews with Labtuit's help though!

So I genuinely think if you have experience (even internships because I had nothing) that Labtuit would be an immense help to get your foot in the door. If not even that I didn't realize how bad my resume was until they fixed it for me. Maybe that alone is worth the 3%.

In conclusion, Labtuit is a great way to get your foot in the door and at least get interviews, but you probably want some experience before signing up.
