Very disappointing experience with La Gentile Store.
I ordered a Charlie Crane changing table over a month ago for approximately $800 and have experienced nothing but delays, lack of communication, and broken promises ever since.
I initially contacted customer service after receiving no shipping updates despite being told my order would be expedited. Each time I followed up, I was told the table would arrive “any moment now” or would ship “tomorrow,” yet weeks later there is still no tracking number, no confirmed shipment, and no clear delivery date.
The most frustrating part is that communication only happens when I chase them myself. Even recently when I followed up again, I received no meaningful response. Now I am asking for a refund and, of course, I am being completely ghosted.
As someone about to have a baby soon, ordering an essential nursery item should not turn into weeks of uncertainty and repeated unanswered emails.
At this point:
* the order has been delayed for weeks,
* multiple shipping commitments were not respected,
* customer support responses are inconsistent and slow,
* and I still do not know when — or if — my order will actually arrive.
For a premium-priced product and retailer, this level of customer service is honestly unacceptable.
