I ordered my food , kukd took the money out my account and the takeaway haven't received my order so I checked on my orders and there was no order , I'm absolutely fuming , no number to get hold of the rats !!!

Beats me why restaurants use these middle men. I used the dedicated enquiry form on the website of Pengam Spice (25 July 2023) because the restaurant was not answering the phone. Within the hour I got a reply from Kukd saying they were not able to help with a table reservation, and they recommended contacting the restaurant directly, which is what I would have done if they had answered the phone. So in my case Kukd were a complete waste of time.

This company is an absolute scam
This company is an absolute scam. If you read the abundance of reports that say that their money was taken and then some excuse provided for no delivery I fell for the very same scam.
Placed order, money taken then an immediate voicemail to say fish bar was closed.
My wife went to exact same location, showed them order but had to pay.
I am going to report them to police and trading standards for this trading practice

Appalling
Appalling. Ordered from a local restaurant- we’ve previously had lovely food from them when they arranged their own deliveries. Placed an order at 6.30pm. No food had arrived by 9.30pm. The restaurant would not accept liability, and we have been refused a refund- and we were told a pack of lies when we called them. Will never ever use them again. Strongly recommend everyone avoids at all costs. And to add insult to injury, we opted out of marketing and have received multiple promotional emails, so they’re also breaching data protection laws. A completely shambolic, dishonest company. If I could give no stars I wouldn’t hesitate.

Online order from my local, regular Indian Takeout
I placed an order online, assuming this was my local takeaway's own website. After placing my order and receiving a text from Kukd.com, I checked this online and tbh felt I'd been duped. Some of the reviews are dreadful.
My experience was very, very good. A full menu from my local Indian online, easy to place an order. Cash payment was accepted. Food delivered was 'hot' and on time. I was initially concerned that it wasn't my local's website but it was certainly their food. A seamless and excellent service from Kukd.com & 20% discount!
Honestly can't fault it :)

Don't understand what all the fuss is about
I was quite hesitant to order online with my local takeaway but Kukd was really simple to use and provided all the information necessary after, would recommend it to try, after looking at the previous reviews not sure what the whole fuss is about as I encountered no problems.

Terrible
Terrible. Placed order at 18.05, collection at 18.30. Got all call at 18.29 from Kukd when on route to collect to say due to size of order it would be 15 mins late. I explained I was almost there so told to continue and it might be ok! When I arrived, the order had only been phoned through to them by Kukd at 18.25. So a complete lie that the delay was due to my order size (only food for 5 people not half the street). The prices I had paid were also not correct, I'm not sure whose fault that is but the takeaway lost out. The takeaway was great, they got food done ASAP and it was lovely, no thanks to Kukd.

Order didn't get through even though payment has been made
I have made an order to the Modern Wing Chi Chef restaurant order number D1147227 at 6:37pm today. its stated that the food will be ready bg 7:36pm, however the food did not come. I called the restaurant and they said they did not receive any order from kukd.com. I checked my bank account and the payment has been made. I called kukd.com customer service and said that the order has gone through to the restaurant (which is not what the restaurant said). In the end I told the cs to cancel my order, with the refund will take 5 days to come. Heck, they did not even give me any discount whatsoever for the inconvenience caused. This website is very poorly managed and very unprofessional in doing their service. I would NOT use this website again and would NOT recommend it to anyone.

My mrs just ordered Turkish food for 4 of us this evening. Ordered and paid for, no problem.
Then get a phone call saying restaurant is not open today and a refund will take up to 5 days. It was the very last of her money so now 2 children with additional needs now go without food until she gets money tomorrow evening.
Upon requesting the money they took from her is moved to another restaurant so we can at least eat, their reply was " we are unable to do this".
So they took money for something they were never able to deliver seeing as the place is closed and will not do an immediate refund therefore leaving 2 adults but more importantly 2 children hungry...
BIG SARCASTIC THUMBS UP TO AN ABSOLUTE ABORTION OF A COMPANY!!!!!
My experience will shortly be re lived on social media platforms and an email sent to the said restaurant. This is completely out of order and unfair. And all no fault of our own.

I have ordered 3 times via kukd. Originally, I wasn't aware until checkout that I wasn't ordering directly from the Indian (I assumed kukd was just a payment ad-on) as they weren't mentioned on the website up front. On time I got charged twice but I had a reply and resolve quickly so all good. (And might have been my own fault for not completing properly via paypal) I'd order from them again, actually I think it's slightly cheaper than calling the restaurant directly too. Thanks kukd for decent customer service and keeping me informed.

In January I ordered a Chinese takeaway through Kukd. It never arrived. We called the Chinese several times but couldn't reach anyone who spoke English and could understand. Eventually, in frustration we called Kukd and explained the situation. They said they would contact the Chinese restaurant. They called us back and said the Chinese restaurant claimed not to have received our order. It was now almost 11pm so I told them to cancel the order and he said I would receive my money back in the next few working days. This was in January. I haven't received any refund. Despite contacting customer services, they have not helped at all. They replied to my lengthy email complaint recently with "eatery claimed they where open"?! What does that even mean?! I have proof of the money leaving my account and my complaint explaining that the food hadn't arrived. Utter thieves.
I think the company is based in Cwmbran so perhaps I'll pay them a little visit in person to demand my money back, since the customer service is ABYSMAL.

Chocking! Unbelievable scam!
I ordered an Indian meal for take away with kukd, I entered my card details online and, for the first time in my life payment was taken on my account without notifying me. When I entered my card details, the website loaded for about 45/50 sec until a "GATEWAY -TIME-OUT" message appeared, NO order confirmation was received by email.
I had to press "cash payment" on their website so the order could be placed with the restaurant, order confirmation received. Before going to collect my meal with my cash, and because I found the website loading situation very suspicious, I checked my bank statement online, only to realise that payment had been taken. Then, when I went to collect my order at the restaurant, they asked me for cash payment, but I refused to pay twice (as a matter of principle) and spent 30min on the phone with Kukd. I ended up leaving the restaurant without food, falling appart with the restaurant owner, with money taken fraudulently on my account.
Kukd had two arguments : "a website crash" and when I asked them to pay the restaurant directly they "blamed ME for placing the order twice" - which is untrue since the card payment was not meant to have gone through ("Time Out"...) and no order confirmation was received until I pressed "cash on collection".
Chocking! blaming it on me! Never seen that in my life! Normally, when an online payment is successful, we are notified of it, same way when a payment cannot go through, we are notified of it. It is a crime to take payment on people's bank account pretending not to (error/ time out message).
Unless proven otherwise - and looking at previous comments the issue seems recurrent - there is a real suspicion of programmed activity.

On 20th September I booked a table for 12 at my local Tiffins restaurant for 29th October. I had 2 emails from Kukd confirming the booking. Today, I called the restaurant to check that all was in order. They had no booking on record. Fortunately, they were still able to accommodate such a large party at short notice. Thank God I checked. I have now been contacted by Kukd giving me a 20% discount code to use on a future takeaway, as an apology.

Would give minus stars if possible! DO NOT use any website directed through them! Called my local Indian because one website directed to them said they were closed, they weren't...Ordered through kukd thinking it was a mistake from the restaurants website. I then receive a phonecall from someone at kukd informing me that the restaurant is closed and they have tried ringing them and also the manager. I tried to dispute this with him ,explaining I had already spoken to someone there. The guy on the phone was very apologetic though and said they would not be taking/refunding my money and also giving me a discount code. All good yes?....No.... I then rang said restaurant to be told they had obviously not got my order, so I reordered direct,,all good, got my food....fast forward to today and ...yes, kukd took my money for food they did not order! And when I emailed them to refute this, it would not send because email address not recognised! Will be reporting this to the powers that be for fraud.

I ordered an Indian take away from my…
I ordered an Indian take away from my favourite local Indian online and was redirected to KUKd to book online. The food I received was Ok but definitely not from the restaurant I booked. I have had ordered the same dishes many times when eating in the restaurant and having ordered a delivery by phone. I know the dishes well and what I received this time was not at all how the restaurant has always cooked them. I suspect the restaurant never received the order.
