absolutely love it! really helpful in removing the background noise for calls and very easy to setup on all the apps I use. great tool for people who's working remotely or simply like working in a cafe

Krisp is just the right tool for real time noise cancellation. Not only is the tool excellent, but their support is also awsome!

I have already sent Krisp to many of my friends as well as colleagues at work - it's fantastic and changed how I work from home.

The app doesn't work properly, it cuts your own voice.

Auto renewed sub despite it being cancelled and took a 6€ fee on the refund they refuse to explain, if you want to be stolen then purchase their products.

For the disonhest answer: i turned off auto renew and it was renewed anyway, and they charged me more than $60 (62€ instead of below 59€) and refunded less: 56€(instead of 62€=$63,2), conversion fees are a few cents, they just took a $7 commission on my back and refuse any refund on it, don't trust them.

Very good tool (with an amazing support team) which makes my online classes be with quality and professional.

This app used to be good but it's now rubbish on Mac. For some reason the app no longer appears at the top right with the other menu items. Also it enables my camera randomly without my permission. Noise cancelling is an inbuilt feature of many apps now so don't bother with this.

This little piece of free software has changed my life! Having gone from begging for peace and quiet to record online courses and narrate audible books I can now stay in my office, record, and have zero background noise. I live in south west London so I'm in the flight path to Heathrow and located in the middle of a busy town centre. I started recording with planes rumbling overhead, motorbikes and cars roaring away, even a lonely fly started buzzing round! On playback all I could hear was my voice, clear and 'krisp'. I am gobsmacked! I'm signing up for the professional version just so i can give something back to the amazing people that designed this incredible software. Seriously, it's amazing. Thank you!

UPDATE (Jul 2022): I gave a 3-star review earlier and wrote the things below because I was upset about a change. To be honest, my experience with krisp.ai has been great. Although I experience issues sometimes (why I docked one star), they're not too regular and it has good noise cancellation that works most of the time

8 Jun 2022: I'm really sad about the new change to 60 free minutes a day rather than 240 free minutes a week. It's probably a way for them to earn more money after analysing user patterns. The noise cancellation has been decent though

I love the software it makes my voice very clear, I am an interpreter over the phone and I speak the whole day, sometimes my dog barks or the wife shouts and none of that makes it to the call because Krisp filters it out.

I love Krisp, I have children dogs and cats at home always making noises, people and cars from the street and my laundry next door working almost every day and my clients can not hear a noise. I have recommended to many people and every time I have the opportunity I always recommend it to other people.

but the review keeps getting removed. I will try again and knock another star off it and see what happens this time.

Wonderful audio processing — too complicated to use
It does a remarkable job of removing all sorts of background noises — it is truly magical.

If you read through the website you'll find this is the most amazing software, however it's not until you pay for and install the software that you realise its limited functionality.

If you are a Windows user you only get the very basic features of noise reduction. None of the advertise video features work on a window system. An tech support will tell you that you can find this information on their website, however it is not in any way obvious and even with tech support advice is still challenging to find any information about the limited functionality for Windows users.

Tech support was also happy to inform me that there is a strict "No Refund Policy" for this product, even within a 30 day period. I feel like they know they are misleading people and are happy to make a quick grab the cash.

And to be honest, the noise reduction did take out background noise but at the expense of the voice quality, even after system training. To the point where I was only using it in extreme circumstances and turning it off at all other times. This added another level of administration to my otherwise busy day…

So this software doesn't function as advertised, is largely ineffective, and I'm stuck with it now as I can't get a refund for what is effectively useless software…

I recommend avoiding this product and this company and a better a better product and dealing with a company that has a far higher level of integrity…

Sadly, this is just too invasive. There is no reason at all for you to force this kind of policy on customers. App cannot be used securely. Therefore it's a non starter.

Krisp stores the following customer data in its cloud:

- Application name which Krisp has been used with (e.g. Zoom, Skype)

- Microphone, speaker names which Krisp is being used with (e.g. AirPod)

Call insights metadata (see section Insights below)
- Time and duration when Krisp has been used

- Total time the user has been speaking in the call

- How many times the user has pronounced “filler sounds” such as “um”, “ah”, “eh”…

What a terrible and typical response. Just provide a way to opt out of ALL SNOOPING and you'll regain my trust. Just saying "Security is important to our team", speaks nothing to my concerns here. A very poor brush off. I chose to leave the review here as we all know what happens when sending it directly. You know my thoughts, it's up to you, not me, to do something about it. I've already deleted the app.

Krisp is now working well on Low Power. It was actually the very first option on the top of the first slide which needed to be unticked in order to activate the next option drop-down menu to select the power level.

I'm surprised how well Krisp works. My dog hates that I don't pay attention to him while I'm on Zoom calls. He frequently barks for 5-10 minutes at a time when I'm on Zoom. Somehow Krisp is able to filter out his annoying bark. People meeting with me have no idea he is in the room. It does give your voice a slightly different sound, but it's not very noticeable.

Great app for Noise Cancelling during Chat calls and some Conference calls. Easy to turn On and Off when needed. Fast response after any service queries.

I reached out with a feature request, and 2-5 minutes later I had a very thoughtful response. Very impressed with their service and response time.
