VERY BAD SERVICE

VERY BAD SERVICE. I ORDERED A WASHING MACHINE AND ARRANGED THAT THEY TAKE AWAY THE OLD ONE FOR RECYCLING. AT THE DATE TO COME AND REMOVE THE OLD MACHINE, NOBODY APPEARED. THE OLD MACHINE STANDS IN THE LIVING ROOM. CHRISTMAS IS ARRIVING. I CALLED THEIR CENTRAL OFFICES AND THE ANSWER WAS THEY DON T KNOW WHY NOBODY ARRIVED AND THEY ARE NOT AVAILABLE TILL THE NEW YEAR. I SAID I CANNOT SPEND CHRISTMAS WITH AN OLD LAUNDRY IN THE SALON. I SEND THEM MESSAGES AND WAIT FOR AN ANSWER. TERRIBLE SHOP, ONLY TO GRAB THE MONEY THEY KNOW.

Special Thanks to Mr. Ilias in Santorini.
I have been a regular customer of Kotsovolos for many years. Unfortunately, 2 years before I had a very difficult experience when the most important product I purchased — a new fridge — arrived damaged. Because I was working from home during a heatwave (35–40°C), and dealing with a stressful house move, I wasn’t able to unpack it immediately but next day. When I finally did, I realized the fridge arrived damaged.
Although Kotsovolos eventually replaced the product, it took around 12 days, during which I had to spend around 200€ on cold water and food delivery because I couldn’t store anything in the fridge (I was working from home, I couldn't just leave my home, for everything I had to call delivery ) . This left me extremely disappointed, and I even decided not to shop at Kotsovolos again.
After moving to Santorini — where options for electronics are kinda limited — I found myself needing to visit the store again. At first, I planned to buy only a small item and leave. However, my experience changed completely thanks to Mr. Ilias.
His honesty, professionalism, and genuinely helpful attitude made a huge difference. He listened, advised with care, and showed the kind of customer service that restores trust. Because of him, I became a Kotsovolos customer again.
Employees like Mr. Ilias are truly valuable. I hope his excellent work is recognized, because he represents the best of what customer service should be. I became customer again buying things small like headphones to bigger things like washing machine. I will continue being customer in Kotsolos Santorini thanks to Mr. Ilias.

Dont ever order anything from this…

Dont ever order anything from this trash of a store. A disgrace to the human kind.
I ordered a fridge, I used annual leave in order to be at home at the time of the arrival, and they informed me 20 minutes AFTER I was supposed to receive the fridge that the fridge didn't fit the truck and will be delivered in 5 days.
I hope you read this and sabotage this trash

DOA article Espresso Machine. No help at all.

20251213 Update:

They simply do not care. Although I replied to their reply, which they only send because I had a return voucher from the manufacturer, I received the answer that the issue is solves. How TF can an issue bw solved when I received an item with a watertank damaged at 2 spots. Ans not working again?! What horrible company. These kind of companies should not be allowed to exist.

20251207 Update:

As Kosolovos kept quiet, I contacted the manufacturer. From them, I received a voucher to change the device(thank you!). Yesterday I want to change the device, as I don't have a car I had to take 2 cabs. When I came home, I discovered that the water tank is damaged at 2 places and that this device also doesn't work as supposed to.
Angry as can be and disappointed as can be. What a disaster.

Monday afternoon. December 1st, 2025, I received my order.

As mentioned in the manual, I followed the set-up steps for the Espresso Machine.

Immediately it was clear the machine doesn't give water, and it doesn't steam. (there is water in the water tank) The steam pipes don't even get hot. The silicon seal was removed before all of this.

I filed the form on the website, twice, and got the message that someone would contact me.

This was very early yesterday (December 2nd) morning and nothing happened. Nobody contacted me.

Nor did I receive a confirmation of the form that was submitted (other than on screen, that is gone within a split second). Therefore, another form was filled and. Nothing again.

I bought the items with Klarna payment, thus I filed a dispute later yesterday afternoon. I needed to contact Kotsovolo again according to their rules.

What I did. Again, a webform was filled in and sent.

The fact that a big company, not even sends an email confirmation after having sent a webform, says a lot. They don't want proof of complaints etc. This is also the reason I don't call.

I want proof that I can save myself, that I have contacted them.

I don't want to wait the 21 days Klarna gives the company to solve this issue.

I received a faulty item that I cannot use. And instead of drinking coffee from the Izzy IZ-6026 Espresso Machine, I am drinking bitter bile every morning.

I want a prompt and satisfying solution.

User's recommendation: Buy via Klarna with this company. At least you are a little protected as they don't answer.

We bought 3 years ago a airco Bosch 12000 btu. My living room is only 20 m2.
It is not even heating on 25 degrees. Went back so many times and the dont help you at all. We bought even extra garantie.

Terrible purchase experience, stay away!

If I'd only searched for reviews for this business, I'd never had made the purchase.

I made a purchase and the payment went through since the 28/08/25 and since then I've called at least 5 times and I have no update on my order status, or even the calls I put through to them, zero communication.

I've been to their outlet in Syros and I was told they couldn't do anything with the online purchase as it's out of their purview. I wen to my bank today and was told the transaction went through and I should contact the business to see what's happening. I called their customer service today and the agent who I spoke to was so rude and condescending that I just lost my sheet.

Now I'm stuck, I can't get what I paid for and I can't get my money back and no one is telling me what is going on! Worst service in the history of internet purchases.

1000% do not recommend!

Horrible Service..lying about the delivery time...they told it needs 10 days to 1 month for the fridge to come..it took 3 months.. nobody ever called back when I left my phone number..and then total mess up at the delivery..just never to buy from there..worst experience ever

Very bad experience.

I bought a washing machine and paid for delivery and hookup on delivery. When the machine was delivered, the employees said that hookup was not written on his paper and refused to do it with rudeness. A friend hooked up the machine for me, but now it shakes badly. Since there is a five-year warranty on the product, the Kotsovolos customer representative I talked to on the phone contacted the manufacturer to come and fix it. They delayed. Nearly two weeks after delivery, I still cannot use the machine.

Incorrect delivery

I ordered a washing machine and after not delivering when advised, the customer service department went over and above to rectify the matter.

The delivery guys who fitted the machine were extremely helpful and efficient.

Problems occur, but the way they are dealt with is a real reflection of a company.

If you have an issue, please try customer service.

I bought four AC for my home

I bought four AC for my home. They where quick to sell. After installing two of the four, drip water to inside. I called several times: no way to get thru. I visited the store. They opened a ticket and after that the services department from Midea called me to announce, that is not a warranty case because its not a missfunction, but a installing problem.
I reached the bot: my ticket is still open and under processing. Now after 2 weeks still no response from Kotsovolos (=bullshit).
I have now to go to the store again. I will wait 5 days after that, and if they still not respond, I will involve my looser. I paid also a lot of money for an extra warranty of 5 years.

Mind this company!!!

haier induction hobs

on 10/7 i bought haier induction hobs from the heliopolis store. they were used a couple of times and then they broke. i called haier on 24/7 and they told me to report the damage and in 2-3 days a technician would come to see what was going on. 4 days later i called again, they gave me a code to call kotsovolos since they are responsible for haier's technical support. i won't tell you the rest of the details and how indifferent they were to me in the call center... let me tell you one thing, we have 8/8 and i still don't have the slightest idea when they will fix the hobs.... and when will we be able to eat cooked food. never again, you idiot!!!!!!!!!!!

Best way to ruin your life

First unit was delivered in a timely manner. Second one got lost since I was never informed by the driver about time of arrival. Actually he wrote on the online system that there was a road block next to my home that was a childish lie. Not even the firm's tech team could not contact him via phone. Finally I lost flight (non refundable) and a week of paid holiday(again non refundable via booking) and had to reduce my 15 days to 7. Thank you kotsovolos people, I had no idea how to ruin my family holidays and summer time alone!

It was honestly the worst experience…

It was honestly the worst experience that I’ve ever had with a customer service. I myself work in the customer service , and this just blew my mind. They cancelled my order without any notification or message. Then they say that they will fix it and call me back. When they called back they hung up the phone after 2 seconds and in the end (after another 3 calls) they just tell me that they don’t have any stock…? It’s a whole joke… and I’m not talking about an order of 10€, it was 300euros…

DO NEVER BUY ONLINE FROM THIS WEBSITE. When you buy a purchase they cannot find you in their system with your order number- customer number- and telephone number (provided to them and where they have communicated for the delivery and the codes of a product) If you buy extra insurance you would not be able to claim yourself if you did lose the piece of paper since apparently their system is terrible. And they say they cannot do any thing about it. Do not trust. Stay away. Even small websites from which I purchased in Greece could provide me help after years of a purchase. Additionally I would give a 0 if I could considering their customers services.

Avoid!!!

Avoid! If I could add 0 stars I would!
I ordered and prepaid for a mobile phone on June 19th, with a clear agreement that it would be delivered to my home via courier after June 30th, as arranged by phone with Kotsovolos’ central office. On Thursday, July 3rd, when I contacted them again, they assured me it was “on the way,” which turned out to be false — there was no shipment in progress. The product was never sent.

After many calls today, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the central office, delays, and false promises of a “call back” that never happened, I had to call again myself for an update. The ‘solution’ repeatedly offered was to pick it up today from the Nea Erythraia store — even though I live in Moschato — or from the Kallithea store tomorrow, if the shipment went through, but I was due to travel — which contradicts the original agreement for home delivery. The proposal was neither practical nor acceptable, especially given my travel plans. I was struck by the assumption that I had no mobility issues or that someone else could assist me. No consideration for accessibility, no inclusion.

As a last resort, I went to the Kallithea store at 5:30 p.m. The service was disappointing, with sarcastic comments and a complete lack of professionalism. Comments like: “Why didn’t you come yesterday?” or “Your daughter can give you her phone for the trip,” and promises of discounts that were later withdrawn with the excuse “I was joking,” since they couldn’t be applied alongside the coupon I had already used in my prepaid order. Yet, the manager had said she would apply the discount and charge it to herself. The only employee who acted professionally was Spyros, along with another staff member whose name I unfortunately don’t remember.

The result? A fully paid order, no delivery, delays, false assurances, and in the end I had to buy another phone, paying 38 euros more just to have it today. All of this is documented. I am preparing a formal complaint for the Hellenic Consumer's Ombudsman.

**And before someone from the company responds with the usual “we're sorry for your experience, we take it seriously” — I don’t want apologies or assurances about how much you “care about the customer experience.” If you cared, it wouldn’t have come to this. Change your procedures, hire staff, and train your teams properly.**
