Disgraceful company policy related to degenerative diseases

Avoid at any costs this company, disgraceful company policy.
A family member flying with me in the same flight with Korean Air has recently diagnosed with a degenerative disease which do not allow us to flight in the booked dates.
We have found that company would charge us 165£ each when changing the dates as a form of penalty in such circumstances.
We have kindly spoken with their UK costumer service and escalate with manager to request if in such exceptional circumstances we would like to remove the penalty fee for both passengers or in the last scenario make a refund.
They have denied to remove the penalty or if refund only taxes would be refunded. As advised by them only death would a acceptable reason to receive a refund in their policy.
Please be aware of this company policy when you booking flights with them, as mentioned above it is a disgraceful policy.

Remarkable Customer Care By Korean Air

I really appreciated Ms. Min J. Ji, working at Narita airport in Tokyo who really helped me to be able to board KE 25 from Incheon to SFO on Jan.19 even though other staff told me that no seats were available on that day. I was really sick and had to take a flight to my home in SF on that day. She has really shown me the epitome of customer care and service. I most highly value her dedication and efforts to truly meet customer's satisfaction. I strongly recommend any traveler to use Korean Air Line whenever possible because of their excellent customer service.

On time overseas flight

On time overseas flight. Luggage on time also. No problems at all. Very good service on board (3 kinds of meal, 2 occidental an 1 korean). Good space for legs ( tourist class). Do not know how they solve claims because everything was ok. I let you know with my return flight.

I was wowed from the moment I walked on …

I was wowed from the moment I walked on the plane. We were treated with a bottle of water, blanket, pillow, eye mask, and slippers. I flights was 13 hours but the time went by quickly. The crew was polite, friendly, and professional. Our seats were comfortable and spacious for economy class. We were offered beverages frequently throughout the flight and the food was especially good for airline fair. Since this was an overnight flight the crew kept the plane dark and quiet as much as possible. This airline did an exemplary job and taking care that their passengers were comfortable throughout the entire flight.

Excellent!

It is a hard task, indeed, to make a fifteen hour flight, in economy class, manageable, but Korean Air pulled it off. Lovely staff, great entertainment options, excellent food and comfortable seats!

I flew Korean Air - for the last time EVER!

Korean Air staff seems to have racist attitude toward people of color. I flew the airline last year+ and was not treated well. I was searched-humiliated -more than once by the AIR LINE Staff - not the airport security; which is normal and completed as everybody else. Yes, I am a brown man! Advice: if you are man of color - get another airline!

Extraordinary service

We had booked tickets from Jeju Island to Seoul but arrived too late at the check in, shortly before departure. It was our own fault that we arrived to late at the airport. We missed the plane but all the staff were very kind and helpful and managed to get us on the next plane the same day, even though it was fully booked and got us through security check very quickly.
Good service on board as well, så we would definitely fly with Korean Air next time we go to Korea.

keep cancelling my flight Dubai -Seoul - Tokyo and BACKKKKK

My start of the holiday, my flight got cancelled and was just move to another day. After calling I finally got a hotel for th 14 hours stay over in Seoul.
Today I got an email again that my return flight is also cancelled and they gave me 3 options to fly back. Now I will arrive 4 in the morning and will not have transport home.
I will have to take a taxi. will Korean Air compensate me for this?
I had no choice then to take the return flight they gave me.
What a mess. I never got to fly with Korean airlines since they put me in co-sharing flights with Emirates and JAL. Am I lucky since it seems that Korean Airlines does not give the service they promised..

Korean Air was racist towards me, minus 1000000000 rating!

I am a 70 years young brown American. I contacted Korean Air on the racist incidents, that the flight attendant did towards me, and they apologized by e-mai, and then said they were investigating, and third e-mail, denial. I have flown Singaporean Air, and I was treated like royalty, so Singaporean Air will be what I will use for Thailand. Shame on you Korean Air!
