I like the service but I had problems with the funds.
It's still not clear to me why I funded 200USD, then it appeared 187.5 USDin the workspace, like if I funded just 187.5 USD

Then I wanted to increase the amount and I added a milestone with 150 USD, but the invoiceI received has only 150 USD, nothing about the previous 187.5USD I funded. And the Freelancer received only the 150 USD of the additional milestone, nothing about the initial 200USD (which became 187.5 for reasons unknown to me)

Freelancer: exceptional work, fiability and communication!

I found a knowledgable, competent chemist that I would not have found otherwise. The relationship management via Kolabtree worked great and provides a good record of the work.

I can't seem to figure out how to get the expert I chose paid. Your system is confusing at best.

I found exactly the professional profile I needed, she got the job done, mission accomplished. Could not be happier. I went for the best I could find, and find it I did.

It's a wonderful platform for freelancers who had genuine skills. It's easy to use, safe and reliable platform for expert freelancers.

When I started a project on Kolabtree, the chosen editor told me that I will pay 20% more than he will receive and the price was agreed on that. The project was in two parts and that is what happened for the first part. Then without any warning, Kolabtree decided to take an additional 20% on the second part, the editor found himself $150 short of money. I tried to help the editor, the result is that I never received the “IncoiveForClient” for the second part.

Because of Kolabtree, I have found somebody to work with, so the idea is correct. But I won’t trust them any more as I believe they were making up excuses as they go along: their maths was wrong. If you decide to work with them. Just do a small sample then deal direct with the editor. I should have done that. Or deal direct with the editor, they are not difficult to find.

Recently completed a project for JoVE. They were all fun and easy to work with. Nam Nguyen, Helene Kuhn, and their colleagues in India demonstrated a high level of collaboration. As a freelancer, they all made me feel like I was part of their team.

I heard about kolabtree from a colleague.
It was an excellent experience, having freelancers in research, who can do analysis , help in writing the research.
For sure I will take there support next time if I needed and I will advice my colleagues as well.

The site is broken in almost every way imaginable: widgets don't update right, project flow is anti-obvious, i.e. counter-intuitive as opposed to merely unintuitive, it's very hard to find your way back to a specific project workplace without abusing message lists (which don't auto-mark as read once read... a boon in this case), it's nearly impossible to provide deliverables through the platform due to a mix of awful tooling and absolutely ludicrous restrictions on things like filetypes...

If kolabtree would open a project to fix their website, I would be willing to bid on it ;)
They desperately need help, that much is obvious. The only good thing I have to say is that it seems the clientbase and expertise on the platform is better than e.g. on fiverr or upwork.

Title says it all. Kolabtree has completely dried up. Back then, Kolabtree still had a modicum of jobs to take on. Now, there's barely anything on there.

But times have changed. There's nothing anymore.

I did a project on 11th July 2023. My client was satisfied with my project with a rate of 5 stars but my problem is that my funds are still reflecting on the wallet but I haven't been paid yet and the support has not yet responded on that.

Good interface and system for communication and negotiation.

Always a great working experience.

Few suggestions:
Freelancers should also rate the client.
Freelancers should mark projects as completed and close them.
The payment transfer system also needs to be improved.
And the Website fee is also quite high compared to other platforms.
