Misleading sales practices and terrible…

Misleading sales practices and terrible customer service. After more than 4 months and two failed sofa deliveries, we were left without a resolution despite following Koala’s own advice and providing all measurements and photos.

Customer service is almost impossible to reach — phones go unanswered, call backs never happen, and emails go in circles. Instead of owning up to their mistakes, Koala tries to blame the customer and charge a 30% cancellation fee.

We eventually bought from another company who did proper checks and delivered smoothly. Koala wasted our time, money, and caused months of stress.

We are now forced to escalate this to Fair Trading NSW, especially given Koala Living has previously been fined for misleading conduct by regulators.

The Koala sofa is extremely difficult to put together and delivery drivers were atrocious.

The Koala sofa is extremely difficult to put together from a flat pack and it comes in a large amount of boxes. Whilst it is good for convenience in getting in smaller apartments it had errors with it's fabrication and extremely time consuming to put together. Delivery drivers were very bad. One guy stayed in the truck and chatted on his phone whilst the other expected me to get 13 boxes up 6 levels. He was also very bad at stacking the boxes. Extremely poor delivery service.
