I run my online shop and memberships through Ko-Fi and I can absolutely recommend it. It's free (or you just give 5% per sale) and really user friendly. the shop could use some more adjustment options but that might just me being picky. For memberships I chose to run the whole communication through discord. It's very convenient because you can connect it very easily! And also I love the option to give members an automatic discount to the shop. Very well thought through and they always take feedback, support is usually replying really quickly and they're super friendly.

Even if it took about a week, Ko-Fi Support were able to help get my email changed when I lost access to my old one. It’s up there as being great help along with the many other supports I’ve interacted with that helped.

I had an issue with a not registered payment on my account because i made that one as a guest. With help of Kofi cutomer support this was sorted quickly. It was solved from start to finish in about 3-4 hours! Well done!

I migrated from Patreon to Ko-fi, and it was the worst decision I could have made. Don’t use this scammer’s platform — they do not respect creators and instead rely on an automated system that destroys people’s work.
Before opening a page on Ko-fi, I carefully read their policy and made sure to follow it exactly.
I also noticed there are plenty of other creators who post the exact same content I post. Yet the automated system decided to ban me — and not them.
In their articles, policies, and resources, Ko-fi assures creators that “Ko-fi pages are republished in most cases,” and that for “most creators it’s enough to just make some changes to the page before it gets republished.”
They also claim that if your page is unpublished, you are provided with a valid explanation of what went wrong and given a chance to make edits.
Ko-fi also claims to have a three-strikes system. Instead, they banned me immediately, gave me no explanation, and no opportunity to make any edits. As I already stated, I read their policy very carefully, and I can say with certainty that my content respects it fully.
Instead, they used an automated system to ban me completely without ever providing a reason. Why should I waste my time reading your guidelines and following them if you don’t provide the very support and clarity you promise?
Do you understand the level of damage you cause your customers? It took me time to read and understand your policy. It took me time to set everything up. I uploaded a large amount of content. It took an immense effort to bring traffic to your platform. And now everything is gone — without explanation.
No support with edits. No guidance. Nothing.
What you do to creators is disgusting. Why can I easily post the exact same content on YouTube without it even being flagged as 18+, but here it gets banned?

I was having a bad day that got inexplicably worse when I had to reset my laptop and caches and found myself unable to get back into Ko-Fi because the email I first used to sign up with it on Yahoo is one I can no longer access. I was feeling very frustrated but the staff member Finn was quick and succinct in their replies and offered multiple solutions to walk me through getting back into my account, a process I thought would take a week but ended up being done within the hour. I hope my frustration didn't come across too strong in this interaction and the person who helped me deserves to be told to keep up the good work, at the very least. Thank you to everyone at Ko-Fi for a service that I wholeheartedly rely on.

Ko-Fi is an extremely convenient platform to support creators, artists and more on and even when I did have difficulties, support was extremely efficient and helpful about the process, my issue was solved in under a day. Which is great!

My experience with ko-fi support so far has been amazing. The person who was guiding me was Finn, and he helped me so well that I was able to start my own page where I can post my literature and also get support from people who like it. It wouldn't have been possible without Finn.

This company has helped me enormously with generating revenue that supports my creativity as an individual and enables me to work in the creative fields as an indivdual. I like their ethos and the fact they encourage appreciation of creators by voluntary donations. I also love that they are a British company, being a Brit myself! They are always helpful with support and ideas and they genuinely have made a difference to the possibilities of life as a creator.

pros: you don't have to talk to a chatbot or get an automated response, you talk straight to a person
one of the very few customer support experiences I've had that actually resolved the issue
cons: asked quite a few repetitive questions and it took multiple days of back and forth emails to figure out where the problem lied which had a simple solution that could've been reached much easier
