Scam. Paid £3.99 for a pattern, charged £29.99 2 weeks later. Never received the pattern or an app?? Emailed them and the automated replies are adamant they are not refunding me. Although I have to use the app for 7 days (how if I haven't got it). Customer service is appalling. Avoid at all costs.
I have just today been scammed by these robbers I saw some lovely crochet patterns and they were on offer for £3.99 so I thought wow that’s good so of course I pressed apple pay and was looking at the patterns then I looked on my bank app, they had taken £3.99 and 2 payments of £19.99 I was furious , I emailed them and said I’d be going to the police and my bank and they said they can’t do anything because it’s none refundable! It’s absolute daylight robbery, avoid with your life !!!! Absolutely disgusting!!
And because I asked them to cancel it I haven’t got the patterns, this cannot be legal!

Fraudulent website taking unauthorised payments. Please do not sign up or if you do check and report with your bank.
I’ve tried the customer services but the immediate automated replies saying everything is sorted makes it even more suspicious.
Update: After I emailed them following their coment below, I got the following reply. There was no previous message or e-mail thread. Also, the reply, which is automated, only confirms that they are fraudulent. I am disputing the charges with my bank.

Hi again,
We see your reply and we hear you — but we want to be straight with you: our position on this refund hasn't changed.
WHERE THINGS STAND
The reasoning is the same as in our previous message — the charge isn't eligible for a refund under our terms, and we explained why earlier in this thread.
✓
What we can still help with: anything else that isn't the refund itself — questions about the app, access, cancellation status, or how to manage future charges.
We know this isn't the answer you were hoping for, and we genuinely wish we could meet you halfway here. Unfortunately we're held to the same terms on both sides.
Take care,
The Support Team

The same as other reviewers, I paid for a single £3.99 payment and was unaware of any recurring subscription until I saw it on my bank account - for £29.99! I cannot access the website as Google says it is not secure and will not allow access so I have no way of cancelling and getting refund...shocking website/app and misleading advertising on Facebook...

This is a scam. As other users already wrote, I accepted the one time offer at 3,99€, and after that I noticed 2 more transactions that I didn’t authorized, one of 9,99€ and one of 29,99€. After I noticed, I contacted them via email and at first they seemed collaborative, then they refused to refund me, giving no clear explanation and going against what they previously told me. Don’t trust them. I will file a lawsuit against them.

I initially made what I believed was a small, one-time purchase through Knita. However, additional charges appeared on my credit card without my knowledge or consent.
I later discovered that these payments were apparently linked to a subscription I had never knowingly agreed to. Further charges followed, including one for a completely unrelated product I had never ordered.
I am now disputing these charges with my credit card provider.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise others to be extremely cautious and check their bank statements carefully.

I would not give this a one. I also wish I had checked trust pilot before paying the reduced price of £3,99. On the same day two lots of 19.99 have been taken without my consent. I have also checked my subscriptions in my bank and it’s there for 19,99. Again I thought it was one off payment of 3.99. I am currently contacting my bank to report as fraudulent practice and hoping to get money back.

I signed up after seeing an advertisement and authorized an initial payment of $3.99.
After signing up, I browsed the website and selected tutorials/patterns that I believed were part of the service I had just paid to access. When doing so, I was not presented with a checkout page, a $19.99 price, or a clear message saying that I was making an additional purchase. The message I remember seeing was simply: “We are preparing your tutorial.”
I then discovered that I had been charged two additional payments of $19.99 each, described afterwards as “Character Patterns” and “Cute Animal Patterns”.
I did not knowingly authorize either of these purchases. Had I been clearly told that selecting the content would cost an additional $19.99 each, I would never have proceeded.
I contacted support immediately. They refused to refund the charges, repeatedly stating that these were “one-time promotional offers”, that I had accepted them, and that they were non-refundable.
I have repeatedly asked them to provide the actual evidence showing what was displayed to me before each $19.99 transaction and what specific action I supposedly took to authorize each separate payment. So far, they have not provided that evidence and have instead continued referring to their refund policy.
This is not about changing my mind and asking for a refund for something I knowingly purchased. I dispute that I authorized these two additional purchases in the first place.
I have saved the transaction records and my complete correspondence with the company and will dispute the charges with my card issuer if they are completed.
Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone using this service carefully monitor any charges made after the initial sign-up payment.
EDIT: I will update this review if the company provides evidence that I expressly authorized the two $19.99 purchases or refunds the disputed charges.

I would not even give this app 1 star. It is a scam. You click on the 'get app' expecting them to show you charges if there are charges and the next minute they have taken £6.99 plus two lots of £19.99. This is without verifying the purchase. Luckily the bank picked up a scam and cancelled the second payment but I am still waiting for the other two amounts to be refunding. When I contact Knita they sent weird automated emails back saying 'this is our final word on it' and 'absolutely no refunds'.

Misleading Facebook ad – advertised pattern unavailable and no refund
I subscribed to Knita.app after seeing a Facebook advertisement under the name “KnitCrochet Hub”, featuring a specific Halloween crochet dress that I was interested in making.
After purchasing the subscription, I discovered that the pattern for the advertised dress was not actually available on the website.
I contacted customer support and explained the situation. They asked me which pattern I was looking for, so I sent them a screenshot of their own Facebook advertisement showing the dress. Their response was that they were sorry they could not help me. They confirmed that my subscription had been cancelled and that I would not be charged again.
However, I also asked for a refund of the amount I had already paid. Since the specific pattern shown in the advertisement was the reason I subscribed in the first place, I think this is a perfectly reasonable request. I paid for access based on their advertising, but the advertised pattern was not available.
My refund request was refused, with reference to their refund policy.
I find this very disappointing and misleading. If a company uses a specific crochet design to advertise its subscription, customers should reasonably be able to expect that the pattern for that design is actually included and available after subscribing.
I would not have purchased the subscription if I had known that the advertised Halloween dress pattern was not available.
For anyone who came across the same Facebook advertisement: the ad I saw appeared under the name “KnitCrochet Hub”, while the subscription/service I was directed to was Knita.app.
