The representative was very friendly. He handled his responsibilities professionally. I was aware Romanian car rental companies try to upsell insurance policies, but I never felt pressured. The return also went very smoothly.

perfect experience

I had an excellent experience with Klass Wagen Otopeni (Booking #765157035). From start to finish, the process was seamless and efficient.
A special thanks to Mario Stanciu, who handled the car return. He was incredibly professional, friendly, and did his job exceptionally well, making the final part of my trip stress-free.
The car itself was in perfect condition, and the pricing was very competitive—easily the best value for the quality provided. The entire staff was professional and welcoming. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a reliable rental in Bucharest!

Quick experience with KlassWagen
The process of picking up the car on the first day, immediately after landing at the airport, was quick, efficient, and free of unnecessary delays. On the final day, the company was very accommodating regarding the return time, considering the road closures in Bucharest due to heavy snowfall.
Denis from the office received us with great hospitality. He was professional and addressed every question we raised with helpful guidance
However, the rental company should ensure that drivers are briefed on the nuances of driving in snow, especially when operating an automatic vehicle. We did not receive such guidance, and it was our first time driving in severe snow conditions with the vehicle provided. Basic driving errors could be avoided if the rental company provided safety and operational highlights for winter driving during the snowy season.

Would be nice if the pickup office was in the terminal.
I find it excessive you need to wash the car before return. As long as it's decently clean it should be fine I think like is everywhere else in the world.

AVOID KLASS WAGEN BECAUSE OF AGRESSIVE INSURANCE POLICY
Warning to anyone looking to rent a car from this company. TRY TO AVOID THEM IN ANY WAY !!!
We arrived in Wien airport, on 01.03.2026, two adults and a baby girl, having a rental agreement with them, After waiting about half an hour for a car to pick us from a place outside the airport (you have to talk to a robot without having any idea about timing ) we reach, at least, their office. Once we get there, when the office clerk was looking at our contract terms, he said the car could not be handed to us because of not having a full CASCO insurance. I have to mention that we paid in advance the CASCO insurance for the whole period via Booking.com. So, try to imagine the situation, we are somewhere near Wien, in middle of nowhere, saturday evening, with baby girl, tired an still having 400 km away to go. KLASS WAGEN CHARGED US 364 EURO MORE FOR AN INSURANCE ALREADY PAID. I think thet took advantage on our situation knowing we had no option at that time.
SO, AVOID KLASS WAGEN!!!

However, we would like to clarify that not having a CASCO insurance is not a reason for refusing the vehicle handover. At pick-up, we generally offer two options:
You may proceed without our local insurance package, in which case a security deposit is required and must be blocked on a valid credit card, with the renter assuming full responsibility and liability for the vehicle.
Alternatively, you may choose our local insurance package (“Risk 0”), which removes the need for a security deposit but increases the overall rental cost.
Please note that insurance purchased through third-party providers (such as brokers or platforms) is valid; however, it does not replace the requirement for a security deposit. This is why customers without our local insurance are still asked to provide a credit card for the deposit.
We would like to review your case in detail and clarify what happened during your rental. Kindly send us your booking or reservation number at customercare.at@klasswagen.com, and we will investigate this matter further.
