Hans, our installer, was fantastic. He was not only very gracious, he worked very hard to meet our vision of how we wanted it to look. He was a professional all around.

Disappointed. Have had great experiences over the years. This last time though, not so much. The charge was above what the original bid our contractor got a couple months prior, install was not great, and we were charged for an additional room that wasn't supposed to get carpeted (in hindsight, glad we carpeted it).

We can easily feel the tack strips in most edges of the carpet. 5 year old daughter has been in tears more than once getting poked in the bottom of her feet. The second installer knocked most of them down, and told me how to do others if needed.

Vinyl install was great. The second installer was great (that did the bedroom we didn't originally want done, but were mistakenly charged for). But the miscommunication with the rep and poor quality of install on the majority of the basement was disappointing.

Have had GREAT experiences with Kjellberg in the past. Just not this time.

So in closing , if you need flooring? There is only one place to go. Kjellbergs carpet in Elk River (or branch stores!) . I can only give 5 stars but 10x's that is how I feel.

From the moment we met with Jason to the phone call and email after installation I was very impressed with our service and carpet. Jason was extremely knowledgeable about carpet and I had brought in samples of ideas. He knew in the store where something similar would be located and ended up finding the exact one I wanted only under a different name. The installers were professional, and the phone call I received after installation was appreciated.

Very professional company! Measuring took place as scheduled, carpet came in promptly, and a very good carpet layer was recommended to us.

Wow. Our first experience with Kjellbergcarpet1 was awesome. We ordered carpet for upstairs bedrooms and vinyl plank flooring for our main level. They first installed the vinyl and it was beautiful. We loved it so much we decided to put the same flooring upstairs in the bedrooms. I was afraid there would be some sort of extra cost for leaving them with all that carpet, that we didn’t use. Well, they were so gracious and changed it for us at no other cost. And by the way that was about 5 years ago and the floor looks as beautiful as when they installed it.
The second time, I was greeted by a very nice woman. She asked what I needed, I told her, she led me to the perfect product. When the time camefor it to be installed their installer had a terrible accident and could not work. They found someone else to do it and. Again the product and installation is beautiful.

Offered good carpet choices and installed on the day day promised. Didn’t check other prices this time because they presented the best option last time I purchased carpet from them, about a year ago. Very nice people.
