Kitchens plus Bathrooms Reviews 

Please DO NOT waste a single penny of your money with this absolute mess of a company, we spent a small fortune on a new bathroom and downstairs cloakroom, from the initial aggressive sales pitches, bloated prices, rushed sub standard quality of work, inferior product quality to sly tactics aftercare. The job from the start was rushed and the finish and poor quality product were glaringly poor, the shower literally lasted months but when you contact them they just fobbed us off by telling us to deal with the fitter directly who constantly ignored us, what they later admitted was that the fitter no longer worked for them and hadn’t for some time, this several month long goose chase had allowed the warranty to run out…. How convenient, they knew what they were doing, they promise you the earth and deliver none of it, I know now why they never came and did the signing off inspection that they promised, quite simply because once they have your money they really don’t care, they did offer to send somebody out to have a look at the shower for a £100 call out fee…. How kind of them, you have been warned folks don’t be ripped off like us !

April agreed paid deposit for bathroom and ensuite to be done in July. July came phonecall to pay for goods to be delivered, so did that. Then ripped both rooms out. We were given a price at beginning we'd agreed on. However as bathroom went along, you have to pay fitter, you have to pay electrican, plasterer, rubbish removal. We paid 6-8k (30-40%) more than quoted over stages we were unaware till the end as we weren't informed yhis is how it works. It took 5months to get a radiator. And everything that was designed and ordered didn't fit. So what I got was not my dream designed bathroom. Totally different. Couldnt have most of what i wanted. Hugely disappointing. 5months after still not happy, going through complaints procedure offered 10% compensation. Absolute circus experience and I would stay well away, sell your your dream bathroom that never actually materialises.

Dan completed our bathroom at the end of November and has done such an amazing job, we are really happy with it, we came across some issues while ripping out the bathroom and all was handled really well to give us our amazing new bathroom. All the fitters that came throughout were great, which was important as I have a baby at home with me, but felt really happy with all accomodations made for me.

We were booked in really fast and everything was really clear from the start as to how things would be.

After being ripped off and conned by another company, David came this morning to give a quotation for a new kitchen. He couldn’t believe the mess we were in here and worked wonders to come up with a solution that wouldn’t break my already almost broken bank balance. From start to finish David was courteous and polite, asked the appropriate questions with regards to the kitchen and how we stood. Happy to say I nearly keeled over when (after numerous phone calls and text messages to his bosses to explain my situation.) he told the price he could it for. When he said it could be in for Christmas a tear came to my eye as i thought Christmas was ruined for my daughter and I.
Safe to say so far I highly recommend kitchens plus bathrooms and will update my review on completion. But so far amazing. Also thank you

Alan installed my bathroom in just 4 days. He worked tirelessly and cleaned up as he went along. He made a superb job of totally rearranging my room and kept me involved at all times. He’s a perfectionist and it shows by the end result! I love it!

Needed new kitchen seen kitchen plus bathrooms on social media give them a call soon after they called to design and complete survey, few weeks later work started ripping out old taking it away. The trades men and office staff top class and very professional in all aspects very helpful and could not help us enough great team definitely use again and tell my family and friends about them. Very happy customers.

Had Chris out to design my kitchen for me. He had a challenge because of shape of kitchen, but the design he came up with was everything and more than I wanted. Chris helped me with my colour scheme and suggested ways to overcome any problems. He was polite and thorough. A very pleasant experience

Great kitchen, good quality, I wanted my old tried kitchen replaced, but didn’t want the hassle of pulling it all together, you hear a lot of horror stories of incomplete jobs. However my experience with Kitchen plus has been a positive one. Everything looks great, many thanks to all involve, I had more contact with Joe and Les, so a thank you to them and Jordan for keeping me updated and pulling it together.

Quality kitchen. Straight forward process. Managed process very well. Tradesman excellent. Kitchen plus managed them very well. Kitchens quality at a fair price. Small items missing but delivered replacements straight away. Didn't get involved tradesman particularly kitchen fitter said leave it with me I will sort it. This is a genuine review in Bedlington.

I had a gentleman named Chris visit me from kitchens plus bathrooms he was very helpful and honest with me about everything. I really appreciate the time and effort he put in and it was a very good experience.
I didn't expect to be able to get a kitchen but he was so helpful and kind. He really helped me with the design of the kitchen and I am really pleased with the outcome.
I would happily recommend them to anyone.

We used Kitchens Plus for a new kitchen in a previous property and had no qualms about returning to them as the design, quality of work and the quality of the product was excellent.

Our second experience with the company has been much the same: great design, excellent project management, good quality products and good communication by tradesmen and office staff.

Can highly recommend Kitchens Plus.

Just had new bathroom fitted.. absolutely amazing.. from planning to fitting. Was kept up to date every step, even the rubbish was collected really quickly. Chris fitted the bathroom, all done in 5 days, very little mess. Amazing! Would totally recomend this company..

Update 20th December.
Once again I find myself downgrading this review on the back of poor customer service from this awful company. Several messages left on various platforms over last few days either unfulfilled promises that ‘someone will call you back’. I am cancelling future booking and severing all ties with this lot - never ever again.

Update 11 October
After I refused a visit by the manufacturer Kitchens Plus quickly agreed to replace the shower cubicle. Two days later it was sorted and so far (its been 9 days) no further issues.

I have updated to three stars as the communication from the complaints team has been really good throughout and the finished product looks great. It has not been the experience I was promised though, I also found the pre installation documentation and pricing very confusing which took a while to get sorted too. I do appreciate that sometimes there will be a fault with the hardware but i do think Kitchens plus could have been better both pre install and once the fault was identified.

I do have a second installation booked for December and am still undecided whether to go ahead with it. To their credit Kitchens plus have offered to return my deposit if I do cancel. Will make a decision in the coming days.

Update:
4 weeks after installation and the issue is not resolved. I have provided photos - the installer has been back and agrees the shower unit is faulty and now the supplier wants to come and inspect it. Ive said no.
Makes the response from Kitchens plus below a complete joke. Get me back on track? Im further off track than Ive ever been.

Tap fell off the shower after 3 days, that got sorted and now the shower cubicle is leaking in two places. Have a further installation booked in December which I think we will cancel now.

Right from the start with the initial consultation with David, the experience with Kitchens Plus has been nothing but positive. I can be quite fussy person but from Jordan in the office answering all my questions, the quality of the kitchen and all the tradespeople who did the work, it has been of high quality and very professional. They also fitted my new downstairs cloakroom. Any problems I had were delt with promptly. Would highly recommend.

Great experience from all involved from the initial consultation to the pricing. Timely delivery of fixtures and fittings. Start date to completion five days. Thanks to Andrew and the lads who did everything possible to make the process as comfortable as possible. Thanks to the electrician and plaster for their great work too.Thanks for the removal of the waste from the front of the house in a timely manner. After spending £11,000 on a new kitchen which wasn't finished off properly, then spending 7 months trying to get the problem sorted, I now have to pay another £80 on fitters to come and fixed the problems that they left me with.

Can only give 4.9 due to delay with radiator, apart from that excellent job done by Mortazer the fitter and his mate. Clean workers and very knowledgeable, good comms with K & B and very satisfied with the quality of work and service.

Bathroom & En Suite finished in 4 days!! Looks mint from the initial design by Andrew K and survey by Lewy. Superb installation lads Steve O & young Tom (works his nuts off that lad) The Sparky Gary S was great too and he's a Mag 😀 Total professional's, neat and tidy and very polite. Even the rubbish collection was spot on, cannot thank them all enough.

Adrian is brilliant, very informative and knowledgeable on the industry. Took time learning what we wanted and needed for our perfect bathroom. Would definitely recommend booking with this company if you are wanting a bathroom for life, all high quality stuff and company clearly care.
