First time with Kind Seed and won’t be the last

First time with Kind Seed. Growing for 20+ years outdoors. Purchased 20 seeds fem. 17 germinated and are now in cups. 3 seeds didn’t. Communication with Olivia got me 3 replacement seeds which are now in their wet paper towel in sandwich bag. Never had that kind of success initially with the 17 out of 20 germinating. Bonus points to Kind Seed replacing the 3 seeds that didn’t survive!

Olivia in customer service made the difference

My deal radar went off during black friday and I pulled the trigger on a $200 order to get the bonus. In total, I got 10 free seeds and roughly 5-$6 a seed for my paid ones. There was a few that didn't germinate but they offered to add it onto my next order or send in a separate envelope right away. My biggest complaint is that I got some seeds in bonus that were not my fave. Olivia said she could change the bonus if I message her next time.

Sorry seeds

The order took forever to get in and then the seeds showed up a blakish color very few had the tiger strips on them and then i only got a roughly 35 percent germination rate and i tried to leave reviews in a couple of areas and they keep.getting deleted

Hi Jeff. You refused to participate in a meaningful way to get resolution. We asked you for a little bit of information and then you refused to answer and left this review. Its challenging for companies when customers send aggressive emails and complain about products that they never bought and their story keeps changing. We reserve the right to ask questions when you criticize us and our products and say you ordered products that are not even on your order. A more helpful way to report issues is to be polite and make sure you are complaining about products that you actually ordered. You did neither. FYI, we don't know of any reviews that were "deleted" and feminized and autoflower mass produced white label seeds rarely/ if ever have tiger stripes on them. PS- You are right that your order took longer than expected to get to you. Apologies, USPS can be disappointing sometimes but we did get it to them the day after payment. Sorry it took a week to reach you only 6 hours away. :(

I have been gardening for 20 plus years…

I have been gardening for 20 plus years and have tried just about every seed company out there. From importing from Europe in the ole days to the local breeders with only regular varieties to white label only mega banks with EU genetics.

I tried kindseed again after using their service back in the 2000's when everything came from abroad and was paid with money order. My selections included a few white label to sample like Fat Bastard and Future 1 and a few packaged from Spain from breeders RQS and 42 Fast Buds.

Overall, the service was excellent. The breeder packs were as expected in nice professional packs and the white label was in vials with labels. My one critique is that the White Label needs nicer labels.

First order was good

I made one order from this company and was impressed with the speed I received my order. I bought a mixed pack of auto-flowers and the girl on the phone helped me pick the strains since I am new to growing. Everything is going well so far.

Fast Shipping

I shopped at kindseed a few times this year. The packages took about 1 week or less to get to me and it was simple white label with a nice envelope. The seeds came in vials and each was labeled from a laser type printer. I have had good success germinating and the few that didn't were replaced. Given the price per seed and the girls in customer service, I have always had my needs met and will be back.

I have not made a purchase yet but was reading some of the reviews , the one customer that complained about not getting the colors he saw in the pictures was particularly funny, inexperienced grower for sure , I hope he took it to heart when you explained that technique that produce color and not just sticky a seed in some dirt will produce what he saw, even with perfect technique there is variation in every pheno , for his future reference to produce color just drop night time temps and humidity that’s the easy and safe way to accomplish . Ordered seeds from your company and when I got them I was short on my order. I have contacted customer service and they are not working on the order. They are telling me live with it. Not going to send me the Short seeds. And they are not going to refund the money. You company is starting looking like a fraud. I hope not I hope you a real company.
This is how they treat you if you call thm out

Even though you are incapable of telling the truth and every message you sent us was bullshit, we refunded your money. Your life must really suck to be this much of a low life. Good luck.

You are the liar. You did not have any intention of giving me any of those seeds missing . You told me that you don't send out replacements or refunds. So that just told me your company is a scam. You told me to open the package and your policy is that if you open the package there was no chance of getting any seeds or refund. This was your scam to have me do this and then refuse to send seed or refund. Your company is on the edge of being honest. But your customer service people need to be supervised very closely for there trustworthy comments. I have been contacted by people that have got your seed and they don't talk very highly of the trustworthy of telling you the truth. One told me the seed were old . When they contacted customer service they were treated just like is was called names and that they were the problem. If your customer service doesn't get better your business is not going to grow. As you hope it would and all of this comes from you customer service.

The logic behind a shipping mistake making seeds bad is hard to understand.
We ship a lot of orders and sometimes mistakes are made, but we always make it right.
Can you send us a picture of what you did receive?

First you messaged us because you only received one of the three items in your order and we agreed to send replacements we just needed to know what was missing. Then you said, the order was received but it wasn't labelled so you didn't know what strain was which. We asked for a picture to help understand and when you provided that we saw that your order was complete and your order was labelled. Next, you changed your story to being short one seed but instead of wanting that seed to be replaced you wanted a refund because you couldn't trust us to send you what you ordered. We have refunded you because we can't trust a single word out of your mouth. These one star reviews are so unfair from customers who don't have an honest bone in their body. support@kindseed.com

You don't get what they advertise I bought $125 worth of seeds seeking a beautiful strain because as you know everyone has the most potent weed so I went for looks and again was lied to the plant they advertise as a blueish purple is very green then has the nerve to basically say if I were a master grower their would be no issue I like the selection they say they have but again you are not a master grower so it will probably just come out as Reggie. below is the conversation I had with costumer service

I didn't see any mention of a special technique needed to achieve what your company advertised to me would be a very pretty plant I am aware of low stress techniques as you described. I still feel lied to this plant is very green and naturally seems to have no purple I just hoped you could provide a suitable replacement for what your company was advertising

Hi,

Thanks for messaging, there are a couple of things you will need to do to bring out the colors in the Rainbow Chip strain. Soil pH is one of the more overlooked aspects when it comes to color change, but it can make a world of difference. Anthocyanins react differently depending on the pH of the surrounding environment. A slightly acidic range helps bring out visual richness without stressing the plant.

While proper nutrition is vital, strategic manipulation of nutrients can also help induce color changes. One of the most effective techniques is slightly lowering phosphorus availability during the late flowering stage. A minor deficiency encourages the plant to produce more anthocyanins as a stress response resulting in deeper purples and reds.

Some growers with experience in advanced techniques intentionally manipulate environmental conditions (temperature), feeding schedules, and watering practices to push plants into producing more pigments. This is not for beginners, but when done properly, the results can be spectacular.

Lowering nighttime temperatures is one of the most effective and safe ways to bring out anthocyanin pigments in cannabis. The best time to start this is during the final weeks of flowering.

High light intensity, particularly during flowering, helps deepen hues in color-prone strains. Full-spectrum LEDs and HID systems can amplify this effect more than low-intensity lighting.

The colors you see in the picture of the Rainbow Chips is from a master grower who is very experienced in cultivation.

Unfortunately, I am unable to send you more seeds, based on the fact the plant didn't have enough colors.

I would suggest doing some growing research as there are many techniques you can apply to bring the anthocyanins in the plant.

QUESTION EVERYTHING

I wanted to buy rainbow chips seeds based on its picture. I'm sure your aware I had to make a minimum of a $100 purchase to get my order processed and shipped. I made my selections, grew the rainbow chips and although it's a great smelling plant it looks nothing like the picture. I don't want to regrow and get the same results. Can you send me a seed that will look like the picture rainbow chips I'm looking for a strain with a strong color profile and sadly it was mostly green

Hello "Question Everything." We sell more than 1400 varieties of strains from many breeders and don't guarantee any particular results. Some growers have been able to get colours on that strain but its not easy or guaranteed as frustrating as that can be. The “Kind Seed Co” is not “kind” :-(

Unfortunately the company name “Kind Seed Co” is a misnomer. Their germination policy is anything but “Kind”. Very ridged with their approach with dealing with customers. Zero flexibility. They will smile on the phone while saying “No!”

Only 1/5 (20%) germination rate on their Northern Lights Auto Fem.

Their Watermelon OG Auto Fem also only a 50% germination rate and is growing past my grow lights, and I suspect is actually a Fem.

I was not able to germinate all 20 seed ($100) at the same time that I purchased due to State and County Laws.

They only allow 1 request for replacing seeds, although you have to buy $100 minimum.

I would rather pay more for seeds that actually germinate.

Would not resend seeds even after I offered to pay for the seed and the shipping cost. It would cost them nothing, and they still would not send me replacement seeds. They said you can buy another $100 worth of seeds?

Why would do that with such a poor germination rate?

First Time was good

I was forwarded a 420 email from a friend and gave this website a try. The ordering process was a little frustrating because of a new website but I got 20 seeds and 4 free for $100. So far, I popped 5 and all germed. Good company.

If I could give them a zero I would

If I could give them a zero I would. I had to purchase $100 worth of seeds. I received them and tried to germinate and not a dang one did anything. I’m also not new at growing so that’s not the issue. Some were so old they crumpled in my fingers. They are still in pots seeing if anything happens but I am truly disappointed in the company. Buyer beware for sure.

Stunning selection

This company blew me away with selection.It took me a good hour to limit down what I wanted.The thing I liked the most was the ability to get two instead of 3.I only need 2 to make millions.So let's be honest I had a large order and all the seeds did not germinate.Okay I filled out thier application and they immediately sent me replacements free of charge.Customer service was extremely hospitable and polite.I will definitely continue to go through them because of thier selection and germination guarantee.
