Initial use causes hair-loss before it starts working

It wasn’t clearly disclosed that initial use will cause increased hairloss (shedding) before it starts working. I already didn’t have enough hair and couldn’t endure going bald in hopes it would reverse. When I called in to get a refund (I bought a 3 mos supply Over $300) they told me I can’t get a refund until the 90 day trial is over!! They basically get to use my money (and every other customer’s money who wants a refund) as an interest free loan. VERY disappointing.

Terrible

Terrible, the product was sticky and a total waste!
The company was rude when I spoke to them about my concerns with the products! I wasted $180 and they would not refund my money.
Do not recommend the product at all

This place is bullshit

This place is bullshit. I THINK their product was good but after two terrible deliveries I’m done. Shitty customer service. I’m normally not this kind of customer but after losing $150 screw this place. I did like the product at one point.

Excellent communication and refund processed promptly

Due to my particular scalp condition, the product did not work for me but the team was very responsive in providing a refund, as promised.

Not a convinced client

The product information says you may not see results for 6 months. It's an expensive 6 months. I use a set of bottles every 2 months @ over $200 with taxes. You might use 1 set per month. I have noticed no difference in hair growth in 4 months.
One of my issues is I'm female age 67 with drier white hair. I don't wash daily as it would be too dry. The product yellows my hair for an unpleasant look along the application lines.
I'm highly leaning toward not ordering another set to go the full 6 months to see if I get any change in hair health. I will say the products have a very pleasant and light smell.

Product WORKS and customer service does too!

First, the product works amazingly well for me. I've recommended it to several people - including my hairdresser. It's smells great, reduced shedding to what I'd consider ordinary within a couple of weeks, and my regrowth and thickness is def noticeable after having used it consistently for about five months. I recently had a question about a shipment and customer service responded immediately, answered my question and follow-up questions right away. Highly recommend and they earned the stars!

I placed an order and asked to cancel the subscription on a reorder. They refunded the reorder and canceled it right away! Nothing is more frustrating than when companies make it hard with subscriptions. I’m happy to say they were great!

They were wonderful when I had to…

They were wonderful when I had to cancel my subscription, made it very easy. I will re-use KilgourMD on later date. At this time I'm not able to use it in regular bases.

The Prevention can turn light colored hair Yellowish/orange

The Treatment is great and does not irritate my scalp, but the Prevention Scalp Serum is an story. Although, it doesn't irritate, it has turned my light colored hair yellowish/orange. I phoned customer service and explained what was happening and their only advice was to stop using and use a purple shampoo to help retain my natural hair color. No offer of a refund and no warning that this may happen. Although, the representative was nice, the lack of trying to make this right and offering a partial refund was not available. I am truly sad that this company is not willing to make this good. This product truly discolored my hair, which was already needing help. Sadly, I do not recommend, a company that will not stand behind their customers nor warn about their products until after the fact.

Used it for four months. Zero results.

EDITED TO RESPOND to KILGOUR (BELOW): Used it for four months, diligently, rarely if ever missing a day. No new hair growth. The order process wasn't smooth (I ended up with a lot more product than I needed and was told I could not return unopened bottles). Spent way too much money on something that didn't work and I STILL have an unopened bottle that is useless and cost a lot of money.

Since I wrote this review, Kilgour wrote on this platform to say they would like to rectify the unused product. They asked me to email or call. Well, I already did that ages ago and was told I could not return the product or get a refund. If Kilgour will guarantee that my efforts will be rewarded with a refund, I will gladly send the two unopened bottles I have back to them. Or just accept a refund. Kilgour, ball is in your court. LMK and I'll shoot you ANOTHER email.

Refund "Policy" is a joke

This product started making my hair fall out within a week. I read that some shedding is normal and so I kept it up for a bit, but I reached out and asked them about a refund - one of the only reasons that I chose to go ahead and get the product. I had two month’s worth of product (unopened) I was willing to return. I was told that I would need to use the product for three months before I could request a refund. I continue to use it just to see… The good news is that I stopped losing hair after another week or so, but the bad news is that it did nothing for me. No new growth, nothing. Three months from the point when I started using it, almost to the day, I reached out for a refund and was told that it would have to have been requested three months to the day of purchase… And since it was 20 days after that, I was SOL… honestly, I don’t know what I was thinking. These companies are out here to scam us every which way, so to actually honor a refund policy? Lol.

I just think it’s important to let all of you, nice folks know, if you’re thinking of purchasing it because of their refund policy DO NOT.

UPDATE - I followed up and called, spoke with a very nice CSR who reviewed the case. She pointed out that they do have an internal 10 day grace period window, but again it would have been from the DATE OF PURCHASE - not from the date of first use, not factoring in any additional days for pause in use, etc. I think my review should still stand - buyer beware. I cannot say that the product will not work for you - it obviously worked for a few people. It does smell amazing (though is a bit greasy for my taste). But if you are banking on a possible refund if it does not work for you - MARK YOUR CALENDAR.
