Closed and no refund for our tickets

Disappointed
Our trip to Kidzania, which we waited excitedly for two months, turned out to be a real letdown. The staff seemed tired and not into it, and a bunch of activities for kids were closed.
When it was time for our son to buy something cool with his hard-earned play money, the shop only had shovels and football books. Seriously?
We complained to the manager, and all we got was a sorry and some excuse about delivery problems. Not cool, especially considering how much we paid for the visit. Our son was super disappointed, and the manager had no solution, even when our kid was in tears.
Oh, and the food situation was a downer too – our son has a dairy allergy, and there was nothing he could eat. We had to leave and find food somewhere else.
This was supposed to be a great Christmas gift, but Kidzania, you really let us down. Not coming back! 😞👎
Rude lazy miserable stuff kills a good idea
I took my 4 yo son to visit the place , he was really excited seeing the website and excited on arrival as we walked in. It is a great idea , the queues when we came on Friday 12 pm were not long . However the lazy uninterested rude stuff makes it an experience I am not sure we would be having again . My son is very shy but he particularly liked being a delivery man so he wanted to go to it twice , second time I was told he can’t join, by a rude member of stuff shooing him like a fly, because first time round he didn’t deliver the boxes right apparently. The idea behind learning is great but lazy uninterested stuff makes a child feel terrible for making mistakes while learning . I d say never come here if u have a neurodivergent child , as the stuff will make u and your kid feel totally miserable.
Fantastic experience!
Last Saturday, my little sister visited Kidzania and had an amazing time! The activities were very interactive and fun and the staff members were very friendly towards the kids. There was one staff member called Grace in Just dance who was amazing! My sister was a bit anxious about getting on the dance floor with the other kids and she encouraged her to try and join in and she even danced with her making the experience ten times better. However the food is slightly overpriced and the lines are very long on the fire department and pilot. Overall amazing experience and would come again!
Birthday party
My daughter celebrated her 8th birthday party in Kidzania recently and she and her friends had the best day ever. They all didn’t want to leave after s nearly 5 hour party and they were asking their parents if they could have their b- day parties in Kidzania as well.
The whole staff was very helpful but Nutaylah was really special. She was so kind, so helpful and supportive from the beginning till to the end of the party. She came often checking on us, giving advise to the children about their activities and very hands on during the lunch and cake time. She is a star and a great part of the team so she definitely deserves a recognition about it😊
Also I was reading a few negative comments about Kidzania which surprised me. My daughter has a annual pass and we enjoy every time we go there. Is such a Great place to entertain kids of any age. Is beautiful and clean as well.
The only negative thing I would say is about food price which tend to be a bit expensive. Otherwise Kidzania is a great alternative for a family day out on school holidays, weekend, and rainy days

Hands down this has to the WORST place…
Hands down this has to the WORST place I have ever taken my child. He was excited to visit the (Art Academy) first, we asked the girl working (I use this term loosely) how long it would be until the next session. She told us 6minutes… 40 minutes later after she had spent forever wiping a few tables and putting out printed sheets, with ONE hand, on each canvas, the totally frustrated children were eventually let in. Rather than apologies for keeping them waiting (I seriously have never seen a person move so slow, or be less interested in their job) she asked them to say sorry for banging on the door!! She then sat in corner while the children were given a print out and some poster paint, and ignored them. I had been told that the inexcusable delay was due to the professional structure of each session..that is beyond hilarious
We thought about going to the H&M fashion academy, but the girl there was obviously in competition with the one from the Art academy, as to who could look the most miserable and be the most rude to kids. My son ask her when the next session would be, she simply turned some sign around and said “it’s on there”
I spent £60 + rip off food and after 4hours we were able to “experience “ 3 things, I do not include Art academy as an experience as this was just so bad it wasn’t worth including. So after an average of 40 minutes queuing per experience the price is £20 each.. The staff are rude and unmotivated, the queues are a joke, and the experiences are a rip off. Stay at home and dissect your teddy (vets) get out a cash register and play shops (supermarket) cover a biscuit in icing (the bakery) rip a page out of a colouring book and smear it with cheap paint….very…slowly (art academy) Sorry but this is a farce, that certainly does not live up to the website
Don’t waste your money…
Took my 9 year old and 5 year old in half term, this place is run terribly, activities not open, my oldest was only going for the Pokémon activity to then queue for 40 mins to be told the printer doesn’t work, my son was so disappointed & didn’t enjoy the rest of the day. The football activity had no system, after queuing for an hour my son still didn’t get a turn and left in tears. All the staff need training and looked absolutely miserable. The kidzos earned you get to spend at the end, you go to a shop and all they have for the kids is complete tat, both my kids didn’t want anything. The proper gift shop has toys but no prices displayed so you had to go to the till. Staff rude & don’t know anything about customer service. I complained & asked for a refund & they offered 50% off my next visit. We won’t be going back.
A great day out!
Upon reading the other reviews I wonder if either things have changed dramatically or we just went on a good day!
We attended with three 10 year old girls and accompanied them in. It was the first Saturday of the half term so in theory, could have been busy! It wasn’t! We arrived for the 10am - 2pm session and it felt a bit busier between 11.30am and 1pm but we never felt it was too busy or weren’t able to do activities.
The longest we waited for any activity was 10 mins. The majority of the staff were great - yes a lot of them are young and perhaps one or two needed some additional training or motivation at times but all in all, they were good and some were excellent.
The girls took part in 10 activities and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
The atmosphere was fun and the coordination between activities with the fire at the hotel and the ambulance and police arriving on scene was a clever touch. It’s perfect for children who enjoy role play so if you are wanting a more thrilling and traditional fun day out, I’d suggest heading to a theme park or soft play!
As many have said, the ‘shop’ to spend your wages in isn’t great but the concept of earning and spending your wages and deciding to pay for activities or save your salary is a good learning experience.
I wouldn’t recommend leaving your kids there to manage themselves as it needs a bit of guidance on where to go and sometimes a bit of adult persuasion! Eg, the girls were told they couldn’t partake in the radio broadcasting as they needed a group of 6 - no one else was waiting so my friend suggested they took the girls and adapted the session. Us mums actually joined in at the end. Admittedly the staff member looked a bit miffed but this comes down to training - she was told groups of 6 only but this rule was turning individuals away so it just needed some experience in judgement and decision making to ensure children didn’t lose out.
As I say, perhaps we visited on a good day but our girls had great fun. I’d suggest it’s better for the older children, 7-10 years, as some activities the adults couldn’t go in to and younger children weren’t happy to leave mum and dad. Eg, adults couldn’t watch the pilot training but a kind member of staff offered to film it and take photos on our phones instead.
As with all theme parks, activity centres and attractions there are always opportunities offered for them to increase your spend - do you NEED the lanyards and passports? No! The kids still enjoy the activities in exactly the same way. But they are fun and if you are happy to pay then why not?
Food and drink is in line with other family attractions. We just fed the girls plenty before we went in and headed to McDonald’s afterwards! But as older girls, I do appreciate they are more adaptable and could have a later lunch than younger children.
In conclusion, we had a great day.
Fun for children but don’t expect to buy anything good with their salary
The children enjoyed the day full of activities and being able to earn KidZania salary. But were disappointed when they realised the whole day, saving and holding on to the salary, resulted in rubbish toys at the shop.
They would have got through a lot more activities if the staff were more engaging, enthusiastic and helped them along in the jobs to prevent tedious queues. A few of the jobs were supposed to take 20 minutes but we were waiting in the queue, next in line, for over half an hour. One staff made every child answer a question even if they were young and didn’t know the answer that an older child would. We waited outside the supermarket job for 45 minutes. It’s supposed to be 10-15minutes. But children struggled to get the shopping quick enough. Then one of the 3 tills broke down and an engineer was called. We left the queue after 45 minutes as he wasn’t even next in line due to too many wanting to be a shop assistant and only limited “vacancies” before one till broke. Didn’t even know there was a technical issue until we asked why no one was being let in. not good communication- why would you not think to use the other 2 tills instead of asking children to wait even longer or inform parents so they can go elsewhere. Do staff not know we only have 4 hours and we would need to do at least 11 jobs to earn enough for a rubber snake. That’s without doing activities that need to be deducted from your salary. I.e. fireman, pilot, Pokémon, drummer. All the fun jobs. Don’t waste time saving your salary, do the jobs you want even if it costs. Or go to the shop first to see if there’s anything that is worth saving for.
Children had fun most of the day hence 3 stars. But From adult view, too much waiting around and jobs being lack lustre so children stood around listening to an uninterested adult 80% of the time . Should be better than it is. Staff need to be more fun and jobs need to be more hands on.
Filthy and a total rip off
Filthy, overcrowded , expensive and staff are rude
Took my 3 year old son and there was nothing for him to do apart from clean a car
Staff look like they were forced to work here on a day off from school
Still waiting on a refund a year later
Never book this
Never book this
Awful
Rude staff
Made my son cry
Waste of money
Not allowed to do anything
Faske advertisement
It's awful
AVOID!!
AVOID!!!
Get turned away from activities because staff are too busy having conversations with each other. Not very child friendly at all my boy who is 5 came out crying and wanting to leave after being there for an hour.
Staff should be given proper training on how to treat children considering it’s a “child friendly” environment.
The only thing that my son did enjoy was the fire department and that was about it.
3 hours travelling to visit this place for a complete downer to his first visit to London ruined.
Excellent really enjoyed all creative…
Excellent really enjoyed all creative play stations loved it thank you
Title: A Disappointing Experience at Kidzania
I recently visited Kidzania with my family, and I must say, it was a highly disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, we were met with a lackluster atmosphere and a feeling of disorganization.
First and foremost, the ticket prices were exorbitant for what we received in return. The high cost did not align with the quality of the activities and exhibits. Many of the "jobs" available for kids to try out were repetitive and uninspiring. It felt more like a glorified play area with limited educational value rather than the enriching experience we had expected.
Furthermore, the crowds were overwhelming. The facility was packed with children, making it difficult to navigate between activities and causing long queues at each station. The lack of crowd control and supervision made the experience chaotic and frustrating for both children and parents.
The organization of the activities left much to be desired. Many of the stations were poorly staffed, resulting in long waiting times and impatient children. The staff members themselves seemed disinterested and lacked enthusiasm, which further dampened the overall atmosphere.
Hygiene standards were also a concern. The cleanliness of the facility left much to be desired, with dirty and unkempt areas throughout. It was disappointing to see a lack of attention to cleanliness and maintenance, especially considering the high ticket prices.
Additionally, the food and beverage options within Kidzania were overpriced and of poor quality. The limited choices and unappealing food options were a letdown for both children and adults.
Overall, our experience at Kidzania was far from enjoyable. The combination of high prices, overcrowding, disorganization, and lackluster activities left us feeling unsatisfied and regretful of our visit. I would not recommend Kidzania as a worthwhile destination for families seeking a truly engaging and enriching experience for their children.
Beware the broken website!
My daughter wanted to go to Kidzania so I went to the web site to book. The web site allowed me to add the session to the basket, but suffered some kind of glitch when I tried to check out.
So I did it all again using a different browser. With the same result.
So I looked for a phone number. There is one, but not for use on Sundays.
So we got in the car and drove there. Asking at the door, we discovered that several people had reported issues with the website.
Yes, we could buy tickets at the door, but it would cost about 30% more than the prices given on the website because that's what walk-up tickets cost.
I explained that I was not a walk-up customer by my choice, but that I was forced to be a walk-up by the failure of their website. I was offered a chat with the manager.
The "manager" was willing to apologise, but not willing to allow us entry at the price that was quoted on the website.
As I do not like to encourage sharp business practices, I decided to walk away. Instead, I took my daughter to a funfair where she cheerfully burned off her frustration in the bumper cars.
I don't think I will ever consider going back.
Can’t do some activities twice
Kidzania is amazing for kids as it makes them feel like they are actually working in real life. It is also a great experience for children to immerse them selves in a pretend working environment. The reason it has lost 2 stars is because 1 person ruined it for my 6 and 10 year old. They really liked the radio station activity, after queuing for half an hour we got to the front and the member of staff working there said that we couldn’t go again. My six year old was devastated. Although my 10 year old was more annoyed about standing in that line for half an hour for nothing. For me if I am paying £94 it has to be worth it.
Overall very very good - just one person let it down!
Overall, a really great experience. Set-up is great, staff were generally really good and kids loved it. Just one negative was a member of staff who turned our 8 year old daughter away, not once but twice. The first time she as 30 seconds late for the start of session so was asked to wait in the line outside for 20 minutes. When she finally got in, after wating patiently in line outside for 20 minutes, at 14:45, she was turned away again as our timeslot was due to end at 15:00 and the session lasted 20 mins so would have taken us over by 5 minutes! Not the end to the day we wanted and left us with a very disappointed 8 year old. Such as shame that 1 member of staff spoiled it when everything and everyone else was so great.
Hello,
Hello,
I went to Kidzania for my daughter's 4th birthday on the 8th of April.
Let me just say we all had a fantastic time, with my husband and mum coming along for the excitement!
One particular staff member, Eamon (wears glasses), was extremely helpful, understanding and went above and beyond for my little girl and I am forever grateful.
The overall staff were excellent and helpful but this boy Eamon, he needs a promotion for all his hardwork! I hope this review makes a difference for him, he truly is a wonderful human being and the boy deserves a raise!
Thank you, thank you and I hope I spelt your name properly. :-)
Terrible experience
Terrible experience, under experience staff which looks like doing you a favour of being there, you need to queue to the attractions for more than 45min or more, far to many people let in so your little can cannot enjoy the play at all. Been here a few times right after opening the venue and it was much better compare to what is happening since last couple of years. Food far overprice- they advertising at the check it an adult pizza with drink £10.95, coming down to firehouse place there is no such promo but £12.95 instead. My 5 year old starter to cry in the middle of the queue after 30 min waiting for the fire brigade where we hadn’t even been near his turn like another 30min away at least. Seriously parent Avoid Avoid Avoid this place as it gives more frustration to kids than fun. The worst £100 spent so far in my life !!!
We payed for my daughter’s birthday…
We payed for my daughter’s birthday here. First of all the system to make the deposit was very difficult; it would not go through. The lady I was in contact with was unreachable due to it being her “birthday”. On the day of the party they ripped us off on the party room. They tried to kick us out before we even cut the cake because we had a time limit which we did not know of (mind you we had already payed deposit and extra money that was for extra services). I had already told them we were waiting for one more person and they wanted to charge us for an extra hour when all we needed was to cut the cake. On top of that we had just ordered 2 more pizzas. So because I did not want to pay for an extra hour, the lady with the headset told us we would have to get out. She said there was other parties, but in reality they told me before that my daughter’s party was the only one for that Sunday. (Plus there was another party room next door not in use). So I guess they expected us to eat the extra pizza we just payed for and cake in the hallway. The lady with the headset was very rude barging in our party room to basically kick us out several times. They could of at least mentioned that we only had certain amount left so we could begin to do cake and presents. We payed a good amount of money for them to treat us that way and on top of that they wanted more money from us. I was very disappointed with our experience. It was our first and last time to visit there. It was too much stress to deal with the workers who could not even appreciate our business. Next time we will for sure take our business some where else. Do not waste your time or money there. Even Chuck E. Cheese would have accommodated us better.
