Super frustrated. I trusted Kidscasting. They had advertisements for My Little Matilda Magazine which I paid $65.95 for. The magazine ended up being a scam despite their reviews and followers. I won’t sign up for KidsCasting again. Because it took so long for the magazine to come, it was too late for me to dispute the charge. I completely lost my money.

To help with my daughter's dreams of being a "rich and famous" actor, I began hunting online for reputable, trustworthy casting calls/audition opportunities. I found KidsCasting and can absolutely recommend it for parents. It's safe and easy to sign up, set up your child's profile, and start applying to opportunities. Customer service is fast and friendly. We're from Canada and she got her first TV show opportunity within 4 months of starting on here! Thank you with all our hearts, KidsCasting. You're making dreams come true.
We love KidsCasting! We’ve only been on the site for a week or so but have had so many opportunities arise already. My daughter is very excited for her future with KidsCasting!

I just noticed I have been charged by them for the last 3 years. They never sent me an email, they never sent a receipt that I was paying the subscription. My intention was to do a one time payment only. I called them to ask for reimbursement since I was not getting any information about it, someone from another country answer it and their system was not even able to cancel the subscription. I had to do it by myself. Not a problem for me, but I am calling the company and they can't cancel it?
good, just a little too expensive. i understand its how the company makes money, but for so much, one would expect a process to make sure a director is legit.

I’m not getting calls to do films or series
Lots of opportunities for kids, great exposure, easy to navigate too
Easy to look and apply for open casting just wish that there was more in the Milwaukee, west Allis and wauwatosa area

Not a site for Canadians. While a couple jobs were listed we were still inapplicable. Should say it is for US only as they just haven't built up a base here. Every email sent saying a "big job" was never targeted correctly and was just clickbait as can't see them unless you pay.

I sent an email to cancel my subscription a month ago and they still renewed and charged my card. Unacceptable. I’ve talked to a few others and they did the same to them.

i am absolutely 100% confused as to why this site is showing up on here with more one star! honey, they are a SCAM! i mean, i wouldn't give them an invisible star if it were an option.. so i truly didn't want to give them the one star rating that i did give! to begin, they have all these posts about casting calls in your area, FALSE boo boo! they don't have any in areas that aren't CALI or NY!! maybe a few in ATL but even those were EXTREMELY scarce! they claim they aren't scamming but definitely charged my bank account for $189 a FULL YEAR AFTER CANCELING and more than a year and a half after registering(which of course included the initial payment of $120 at that time for one year). and of course i cancelled, there was absolutely NOTHING happening at all.. not one message, not one notification.. no replies or responses to my messages.. ZILCH! their lil rep. girl spent 45 minutes of the 1 hour call repeating that their "terms & conditions state they give ten days to cancel for a full refund"..10 days!? for WHO!? TUH, not me!! who considers 10 days enough time to decide if a year subscription for casting calls is worth what your paying, when the PROCESS can be much longer than 10 days when you're working in this business! and yeah, although that's just CRAPPY ASL, IT HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH MY SITUATION! the situation THEY PUT ME IN! these CLOWNS really built a business on stealing from families and taking advantage of KIDS! there were TONS of posts looking for people desperate enough TO PAY THEM--ON TOP OF paying kidscasting.CON(yes, dot CON!) to enroll/include them in castings.. parades.. fashions shows.. etc. claiming to give them exposure but when i'd look up these "events", they were basically nonexistent!! they claim they don't sell your info. but looka here.. you be my guest and find out how many annoying spam calls you get after creating an account.. i'm talking all hours of the day and night! and they aren't even posting REAL ADVERTISEMENTS!!! they lied about a NIKE ad, a CARTERS ad, a LUVS ad, a Tommy Bahama ad, at least TWO magazine ads that i came across on their site weren't even REAL magazines!..and i'm super sure there's much more! these are just some that i, myself, actually checked into and confirmed! had to do my research WHICH THEN FORCED ME TO CALL & CANCEL the subscription!! HOWEVER, they never even actually cancelled the g'damn thing! a year later, i get this frickin service charge from them while they claim they have no history of me calling or cancelling the subscription! COMPLETE & TOTAL BS!! I DOCUMENT EVERYTHING BECAUSE OF BS LIKE THIS! oh and the lil representative i spoke with got REAL saucy with me.. so unfortunately, i had to cook her ol noodle brain behind REAL QUICK! homegirl really went that route with me.. like, sis was really tryna go there with me as if she was getting paid extra for the two piece&biscuits i was ready to give up over that hotline! but don't worry yall, i got her together! ALEXIS won't be trying it again.. no ma'am, she surely won't! but dig this, as soon as i mentioned the BBB, they had NO PROBLEM figuring things out, followed by refunding my coins! they had an attitude adjustment and got real friendly, real fast! by the end of the call, lil sis HAD THE NERVE TO ASK IF "THEY COULD DO ANYTHING ELSE TO ASSIST [ME] WITH KIDSCASTING or keeping me onboard".. why yes miss ma'am, yall all can KICK ROCKS IN NAIL SALON FLIP FLOPS, YOU CRUSTY MUSTY DUSTY RUSTY CROTCH THOTS! no thank you for anything yall wanna TRY to offer atp.. SHOVE IT! shove it far and deep..

Don’t sign up, definitely don’t pay! I wish I didn’t sign up for this, their 10 day cancel window is just not long enough to understand how the site operates.
They provide a listing of casting calls. They state they will give you listings based on a number of miles you select. But they give you several that claim to be within that mileage, when you click them to read, they aren’t. Most of them will say local talent only and you are several states away. I have given this feedback and nothing changes no one cares.
Usually if one is local, it’s not shown to you until the last day of auditions and then it’s too late to sign up. It makes no sense.
You’ll never be able to interact with any real employees of kids casting. They aren’t agents and do not help you obtain any casting calls. They simply provide you with some casting call info.
Also, they sell your contact info. I get tons and I mean tons of scam texts pretending to be casting directors interested in my child. Then they want money for something or another. There are also several scam auditions/casing calls on their page. Magazines that don’t exist that want your kids pictures, some that claim to be modeling agencies that want you to pay to belong or to enter your child’s photo for a chance at a page with your child’s bio and picture in their fake magazine. A simple Google search shows these magazines aren’t real. A simple google search finds several others have proved these are scams. The site does nothing to remove them. They simply say don’t respond! They clearly do NOT do any vetting at all. Which means your child’s info and pictures are available to anyone pretending to be a casting director, agent, agency, and the list goes on. This is downright dangerous! This site should be shut down. I’m disgusted I ever signed up and paid, but of course they put a ton of good reviews at the top and all the negative ones are drowned out. Please don’t make my mistake! Do NOT use this site. There are other free sites, there are agencies and private agents you can use. This is NOT safe nor worth any money. You won’t get any real jobs from this.
Taking a moment to edit my review due to a call and the below response from Kidscasting. Please see edits below.
Kids Casting charges you to see these casting calls. These casting calls should be vetted. It’s unclear if they are or aren’t vetted at this point. A Kids Casting rep called me and assured me they do vet them, below it’s clearly stating they do not. Ask yourself how safe it is to have your and your children’s location, phone number, specific descriptions, pictures, and an entire bio available to any random person that claims to be a casting director and creates a fake casting call?.. With this said, the Rep from kids casting was very polite. He offered me a 3 month extension free of charge and to add my child to “their list of children’s profiles they pass along to casting directors in immediate need.”. I said thanks, they then asked me to remove my review. I said I’ll have to think about that. They followed with informing me of this list again, and by providing me a 6 month free extension. Let’s again think about this.. Why are we paying for this service, when they are providing this Top Secret list to directors of children whose parents wrote a bad review? Why aren’t any paying customers already on this list? Does this list exist? Who does this list go to and how often? Are they passing it to more random fake casting directors who are not vetted? I asked about safety several times and was assured the texts I got from these fake casting directors had nothing to do with them… Well, I disagree. My phone is unlisted, my child’s information was in that text, and that information was on Kids casting. According to Kidscasting one of those messages was from someone they removed from the site several months ago… well we joined after they stated they removed him, so clearly he has a new fake unvetted profile.
Kid’s casting, I’ve decided not to remove my review. I should be offered a refund at this point as now I know, you pass this “list” on without all paying customers on it.

I'm reviewing very hard and Im on youtube watching what casting directors look for on KIDS CASTING. If your child wasn't picked don't take it personal. I have a few personal friends of mines who actually get calls and have been on many many commercials.

I don't think this company is real, I paid 150, my baby has never received an offer and I have applied to all companies. supposedly my baby has a PROFILE STRENGTH score:
6,700 and the only thing we receive are messages from other companies where you have to pay for your baby to be seen. Another thing on the page, there are comments from other children where they say they were hired. I entered two of the profiles and contacted their mothers and they told me that they have never been called. which makes me understand that they make the reviews a lie
