Such a shame keynest…
I had been successfully using keynest for 3 months, no issues except their address for the box is completely wrong so took me a good 30min to actually find it. Anyway, the box malfuntioned and i wasnt informed. My key for rental couldnt be collected by a tenant so had to get an emergency key cut and send someone out to drop it off. I was not notified of the issue so didnt know it was a keynest issue initially and thought the previous tenant didnt drop key off. When i notified them it took 48hours to resolve. At a minimun I should get the 2 days worth of hire charge back, but no, no compensation or refund. See you later keynest, for £15 you prob could have retained me. But no, such a shame. I guess conglomerates dont really care about 1 key.

I spent 2 hours today first to log in and then to try to find a place that was actually active. A lot of the places on the map are closed down. Good business opportunity for a competiter, because the app really sucks!!!

Their payment system is too strict…
Their payment system is too strict especially for small businesses. If you miss a single payment for just 1 key by 24 hours, even if you are up to date with all your other keys, they will block your entire account, invalidate your codes for all your keys, even the ones you’ve paid for. They can paralyse all your business just for 1 late payment of even 1 day. This means that if you have 10 keys, but you are 24 hours late with 1, they don’t just block that key, they block the other 9 keys too even though you are fully up to date with those payments. I’m not even sure how legal this approach is. I’m wondering if they can be sued for loss of earning on the 9 blocked keys given that they are already paid for.
They need to review their policies because it just doesn’t seem legal that they can paralyse your whole business by blocking access to keys that are already paid for, instead of just blocking access to the specific key for which payment is late.
