Keychain Warning

We recently got out of a paid trial with Keychain, and I want to share our experience for other manufacturers considering it. We paid $5,000 for a 3-month trial. During that time, we received about 10 leads. None of them converted into real opportunities.

All the leads seemed to be either start ups, foreign or unverified companies, with minimal online presence (one page websites), yet they claimed initial interest to source 500K -5 Million units. Several claimed multiple years of experience, but had little evidence to support that. The few that were responsive were just focused on asking for free product samples, which cost money to produce.

Despite agreeing to a 3-month trial, Keychain pushed us to a 3-year contract. We were invoiced for an additional $15,000 to continue access to their scam network. After a month of back & forth and threatening legal action, our account was finally canceled.

For us, the ROI was zero.

If you’re a manufacturer considering Keychain, I’d strongly recommend not signing up at all. Put your money to better use. Their leads are clearly not qualified and verified
