One of my cakes arrived with hardly any topping had clearly been bashed strange as other 2 in the box and box itself were fine let shop know I was a bit disappointed received a cheeky email back which seemed to imply I was lying about the state of this cake. Service is appalling I will not shop with them again and would advise them there to steer clear

Going back to the conversation we had a couple of days ago, I apologized for how your delivery was handled during transit and I requested a photo of the smashed item so I can assess the situation and make a claim with the courier. Seeing my request, you started blaming me for appalling customer service. Why? Because I asked for proof. It's common sense to ask for proof when you're dealing with a complaint, proof that I never received.
I will share our discussion here and let people decide for themselves if my customer service was as appalling as you say, or it was a normal procedure to follow when dealing with a complaint.
Lisa Niven: I was very disappointed yes when I received my order, the cherry and almond cake as well as the coffee and walnut cake were lovely, however the carrot cake had been so badly bashes that there was barely any topping left on it - very disappointing

The 3 cakes that you have ordered have been nicely packed in a double wall cardboard box.
Lisa Niven: Ok so from the above seems you are implying that I am for some reason lying so I can see your customer service is going to be terrible. Despite loving any products I have received from you until now and spending a lot of mo way with you I will no longer be purchasing from you. I did not want a refund and was not even really complaining about you but hoping you may have had a word with your courier so no other customers are disappointed however after your accusatory response I will make sure never to buy from you again and warn others of your poor service

I wasn’t implying anything at all, I apologised and I asked for a photo because in order to make a claim with my courier, I need to show them a proof which I didn’t receive.
