Can not recommend
I contacted Kenna on the recommendation of a personal contact, and after speaking with her and seeing samples of work, decided to take a chance and hire her for my daughter's wedding. What a mistake.
Although she showed up on the day, and appeared to be taking many pictures, there are quite a few crucial poses completely missing from the collection. The editing makes everything and everyone look kind of orange, and when compared to phone photos taken by guests, are absolutely horrible. For the entire day we received 344 shots, but many of those were duplicates of other poses, thus, the total was a little over 200. She left early and didn't capture the bride and groom leaving, although that was specifically in the contract. There is NO photo of the bride, groom, and celebrant. Many of the poses have only one option, and people's eyes are closed, their faces are weird, or the shots have other flaws, like uneven lighting. I'm not a professional photographer, but even I know that you take at least several shots with a digital camera to avoid those kinds of mishaps. It does not appear that she snapped more than one of most poses.
When I first asked Kenna what had happened, she got extremely hostile, and blamed the day (it was first overcast, then sunny but ALL pictures are the same washed out unpleasant orange), the lighting in the buildings (flash or other settings should take care of that), the celebrant walking away (her job to ask him to come back), me (for not providing an exact list of every single person who should have been pictured, including at the reception, where she missed half the guests), and other things. When I asked for ALL the photos in raw form, she completely refused, and drew my attention back to her contract (which she had actually violated, so there's that) where she states she won't provide raw photos.
Had she been somewhat accommodating, and provided us all the photos for us to see and choose from, had she not blamed every single factor other than herself, I might have not ended up so upset. As it is though, our memories of a beautiful day are forever tainted by her behaviour and product, which are far less than satisfactory. She has claimed that I have been unreasonable, and ceased communication with me.
