Keeprix is now my new bestie

Keeprix blew away my expectations. Having come across it on Stacksocial, I downloaded it asap because stacksocial has a reputation for hidden gems with VIP access. Compared to some state-of-the-art drm media managers, Keeprix has speed and quality with a great UI experience. The screen layout is intuitive, quick and easy to follow. Settings are kept to a minimum with quality, file type, subtitles and audio track. My favorite part is the access to hardware acceleration which makes all the difference. I still can't believe the speed!!

An easy way to future-proof your movie library

I’m a digital archivist at heart, and I’m tired of streaming services deciding what my family can and can’t watch. Movies vanish, catalogs rotate, DVDs are getting harder and more expensive to find. It never really feels like ownership in today's era of entertainment.

I’m on an older Intel iMac, so a lot of the usual tools one would go to (MakeMKV, HandBrake, etc.) have been crashy, finicky, or just broken with DRM. Keeprix is the first thing that actually worked cleanly for me: I log into my streaming account, pick a title, and it downloads straight to my external drive with no weird terminal hacks or sketchy workarounds. From there I can mirror to my TV, or burn discs later if I want. Chef's kiss.

For me, Keeprix has been a way to future‑proof my family’s movie library. When the Wi‑Fi goes out or a platform drops a title, my kids can still watch their favorites because they live on my drives, not in some rotating catalog.

Keeprix has been a lifesaver

Keeprix has been a lifesaver. I recently moved countries and my wifi is SO slow. I've been attempting to screen mirror my shows/movies to my tv, but the connection wasn't solid enough to play video. Thankfully I found this downloader, and it was exactly what I was looking for. It has allowed me to save some of my favorite episodes/movies for quick watches, and download others to catch up on shows that I've missed from home.

Solid downloader

I’ve been using Keeprix as an all‑in‑one streaming video downloader for a little while now and, from a purely technical point of view, it does what it promises. The app supports Windows and macOS, connects to the major streaming platforms (Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Hulu, Max, etc.) as well as YouTube and TikTok, and lets you save content in MP4 or MKV up to 4K. It preserves multiple audio tracks and subtitles, handles batch downloads for episodes and playlists, and performance has been good enough that a full HD movie only takes a few minutes to pull down on my connection.

Overall, I’d say Keeprix is a very capable tool if you specifically want to build an offline library
