Shocking customer service

 I received a message from a the delivery company stating the date of delivery would be between 2.49 and 4.49 on Friday. I arranged for my partner to stay at home during this time to receive the parcel as there was no way to leave any sort of delivery instructions or anything to say leave with a neighbour etc through the app from the delivery company. The app was hard to use and didn’t give much information. So he waited in and nothing appeared. The app stated we were 3 stops away at 4.50 and then suddenly the app stopped showing updates and nothing arrived. At 7pm that night I received an update from the delivery company stating that they were unable to deliver the parcel due to not being able to find the address. They never tried to call and they had my number and I have never had issues with delivery, the postcode was correct and it takes you straight to my front door. I was asked to check my address which I did. Luckily it was ok as there was no way to change it on the app but I did email the company to say the address was correct and had no response. I also asked them to give me an estimated time for redelivery and asked if it could be left with a neighbour as no one would be in this time but received no response. I heard nothing and had no updates at all all day on Monday. When I arrived home there was an update on the app to say it was delivered. However I had no product and there was no photo on the app of where it had been delivered to. I contacted the delivery company directly and again got no response.
I then contacted KCT and they told me they would contact the delivery company and get it sorted. I heard nothing for several days and had to keep chasing this, which I think is shocking considering it was no fault of mines. When I did get a response I was told I had to wait until it was investigated and the delivery driver had been interviewed. However it was admitted that it had been delivered to the wrong place. I do not understand why I had to wait at this point, surely if you knew it had been the delivery companies fault you take that issue up with them and either get your money back from them or get the product back. I don’t know why I was not just offered a refund or a new product straight away which would have been good customer service. However this went on for over a week nearly 2 and I was still without a product I had paid for and the only updates I received where when I chased it. I do not have time to keep chasing things and feel I should have been kept informed much better, this was really frustrating and disappointing. Eventually I received my order almost 2 weeks late with no apology and no good will gesture or anything from this company. In fact some of the emails were just rude. This was after it was found that the product had not been delivered as stated by the deliver company but was in fact at a depot and had just been lying there since it should have been delivered. This is shocking.
This is not the end of the story though as when the wheelbarrow was delivered it was missing a bolt and nut and some washers and a split pin. I do not have these sort of things lying around my house so it was unable to be assembled properly and used. I contacted the company yet again to tell them about the missing parts. I was informed the parts would be send next day delivery. However I received an email today 4 days later to say they had only just been posted and should arrive tomorrow. I would have thought the least they could do was post them on the same day so I could get this sorted and start using the wheelbarrow which is still not able to be used now 3 weeks after it should have been delivered. I am extremely disappointed with the service provided and the lack of responses and lack of any sort of responsibility or even an apology.

Good Customer Service

Ordered some castors from them directly. The second lot were completely missing from the box.

I reached out to their customer service and they were prompt and helpful; the next day I had my wheels arrive without problems. Nice to see a company putting their customers first.

There are clues on their website, buyer beware

Ordered a charcoal BBQ Product Code P0C132 on the KCT Direct website. The quality of the parts is really poor and the main tray was crushed in one corner when I removed it from the packaging. The grill was packaged over the top of the tray but that wasn't damaged at all which means the tray was damaged when it was put in the box. There are a few other points to note about the company. If you look carefully you can figure out that KCT Direct is the same company as Aquatix-2u, you can see this for yourself by putting their phone number into Google. The Returns page doesn't contain a return address. It also doesn't reference the need for a "Returns request form" but it does state that this is needed on their "Refunds Policy" page however. If you do fill in the Returns Request Form on the Aquatix-2U website, you will get a webpage that states "Please do not attempt to return products until we have issued you with a RMA number and provided instructions on how to send the item back to our returns department". So you are blocked from returning the item if they don't respond. I'm not holding my breath. There is an address on their packaging which is the same as the address registered on the Companies House website on the Gov.UK website for the company ( company number is 06718727)

Fantastic pet stroller at great price

Fantastic pet stroller at great price. Good quality, light weight, durable, sturdy wheels, sizeable transport compartment. Excellent rain cover, also very good value. This will help me take my cat to the vet when he needs to go. Large enough inside for a small pet carrier with which it will also be suitable for guinea pigs. Safely delivered. Well packaged.

Very pleased with wire pet playpen

I bought a KCT apex roof pet playpen. Arrived quickly, well packaged, no problems and I was surprised at the incredible value for money - much better quality than I was expecting and it was almost fully assembled. Again, for the price, I was expecting dozens of tiny parts quite like a jigsaw puzzle, but there were just two separate sections to clip together and everything else was already done for you.

Wish I had seen these reviews before ordering via Amazon. Ordered an expensive wheelbarrow and the holes and arms don’t align. Spent an hour trying to build it and no joy! Seems hard work to get them to take it back and suggesting it takes time to build and is down to my skill set

I received the rabbit hutch/small…

I received the rabbit hutch/small animal house but im not happy with it. Its far too difficult to put together and it doesnt help that the panels are bent on some. I cant seem to get a reply for a return form and label as the website when you click on return label just says error! I have asked for a return label 3 times, still waiting. £29 refund please

I have bought a KCT 160L XL Twin…

I have bought a KCT 160L XL Twin Wheelbarrow. The order process, and delivery (very quick) was first class. The wheelbarrow is just okay. The first problem is assembly given no instructions are included. You will figure it out but its a bit awkward, and it is not made with great precision and you need to force some of the components together. Once assembled the barrow looks OK but it has a number of sharp metal corners and plenty of protruding bolts and you will find the handles fall unaturally low and you need to stoop to wheel it away.Its not the greatest egonomic design. Compared to my Henchman barrow (albeit more expensive - and why I gave this cheaper option a go) the quality is significantly less - doubtless made in China. It will be interesting to see how it lasts, but on first impressions I should have bought another Henchman barrow. Had I paid about £80/90 ish not £130 I would be delighted.

Absolutely disappointed

Absolutely disappointed.
They selling items with one description and pictures and you gonna receive a totally different ones.
AVOID spending your money on this company.
Being in touch with them and they replay that "the stock has changed and the items suffered changes",without updating the pictures and descriptions.
Don t use this company if you don t want to waste your money on poor quality items completely different than you see on their pictures and descriptions.

The item I purchased was very poor…

The item I purchased was very poor quality and after reading reviews for this company I very much doubt I will get anywhere asking for a refund or replacement the metal material was all peeled of and the majority of screws was missing i wish there was a way of uploading pictures to show the poor quality of this item it is a grooming table and the metal has peeled from the hydraulic part so has left me with very little confidence in this product

rabbit hutch

Having purchased a rabbit hutch, it tuned up looking like it had been built by a 2 year old. Parts unglued, broken and looking like rats had chewed on it. I guess that's Chinese imports for ya 😠

Severely damaged refused refund/replacement

Severely damaged refused refund/replacement.
I ordered a bin store a couple of months ago and just around to putting it together. Very damaged in several places, unbuildable but told I can't have a refund/replacement and should have checked the item more thoroughly on arrival.
