Kaufland Gorna has aggressive cleaning staff, you can never find anyone to ask a question, and it has almost no cashiers working on the till meaning long waits. The security staff targets foreigners to poke through their groceries on the way out. I've given up going there. Lidl is much better, MaxMark has much better prices.

Decent variety, however they do not stock appropriate amounts of promoted goods. Sometimes it's extremely inefficient amount, especially outside the capital and big cities, which is predatory and against the law.
Also, a lot of fake promotions.
No reaction from support.

Kafland Bulgaria - a company that ignores the rights of consumers

Recently, more and more consumers in Bulgaria have reported violations of their rights by the Kafland supermarket chain. This is a serious problem that deserves attention and immediate action.

Among the main complaints are:

Non-compliance with warranty terms. Consumers report that Kafland refuses to accept claims or replace defective goods within the warranty period, despite legal requirements.

Lack of transparency in pricing. Significant differences between the advertised and cash prices of products are often observed without customers being informed.

Aggressive marketing tactics. The company uses overly aggressive sales methods, including misleading customers about promotional offers.

These practices are unacceptable and represent a serious violation of the rights of Bulgarian consumers, guaranteed by the legislation. Cafland must urgently take corrective measures to restore the confidence of its customers and ensure that their rights are respected.

We call on the Bulgarian authorities the protection of consumer rights strengthen the control over Kafland's activities and impose adequate sanctions if the violations continue. Consumers deserve to be treated with respect and according to the law.

When paying with food vouchers, as almost all employees get here with their salary, and you have to pay Lev 55,56, and you give vouchers worth 56 Lev, it is impossible, even though when you don't request money back.
