Close to perfect
I was searching for a beginner surfboard. The advice via chat/mail was super friendly, quick and professional. Packaging and deliver was on the same level. Unfortunately the board had some damages but they are just visual and no real problem. After sales service was super smooth and I got an offer where I couldn't say no and I kept the board. If the board now rides well, I am super happy.
So why no 5 star rating? The quality management should be improved to achieve that the board is looking as perfect as all other aspects of the purchase.

Outstanding Product, combination with curfboard trucks works great.
My Wife mostly uses the Curfish now and it is her favourite. It is very easy to pump. The deck is lower to the ground than with any other truck system. Deck shape and wheelbase are perfect for her stance. This provides a very safe feeling, even with the very loose front axle. Still no complaints!

We clearly state on the shipping info on our website that border duties, Swiss VAT, plus the fee for customs clearance (by the freight forwarder not us), come on top. In your case 158 CHF. https://kanoa-surfboards.com/policies/shipping-policy
We are sorry this wasn't clear to you. This is a standard procedure for any import to Switzerland and not our fault. We already significantly subsidize the shipping to Switzerland with over 50% to make our product affordable at great prices for you.
We would be happy, if you redact your rating accordingly. In the rest of the EU we have very low shippping costs and very often offer free shipping across the European Union and of course no additional import costs (excl. Switzerland, Norway and the UK for obvious reasons).
