Whenever I need to rent something

Whenever I need to rent something, I usually go with Kaizen. They’re my go-to rental company because the customer service is always friendly and professional, and pickup and drop-off are super easy and stress-free.

Renting a car for the first time

Despite the great stress of the flight and booking a car, for the first time I was pleasantly surprised by the service on site.Despite the late hour, outside the agency's opening hours, I was professionally served and the car was handed over to me with full instructions.I am very pleased and I think I will come back again.Professional and friendly service. I recommend it.

The parking lot for renting at Chopin airport is 600 m away, while normal parking is 100 m.

Flexibility of the clerk, and good good humor while I was nervous. Change from class A to B of the car (to Hundai i20).

The customer service is very good

Excellent experience

Excellent experience. It was my First time with this company suggested by a polish colleague. They were really Professional flexible to adjust to my needs. They were really polite to call me in advance to verify my concurrence taking a manual clatch car. Check in /out really fast. Insurance policy and Price really competitive and truly honest.

I have been a customer of Kaizen rent…

I have been a customer of Kaizen rent on several occasions. During the last rental, probably during maneuvering on a car washing place, I made 3 superficial scratches by a branch of a bush. They were so superficial that I did not even notice them at the return. In my sincere belief they culd be removed with 5 minute cleaning. The company charged me over 400 euro for the repair, claiming that they need to paint the entire element. What is important though, is the context. Per delivery protocol, the car had 62 body damages (it was an old Toyota with over 100k mileage). They claimed that they need to repaint it to maintain 'the esthetical norms' of the car. Very rustrating experience and a model case for losing long term customer.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We would like to state clearly that all potential charges for vehicle damage are calculated strictly on the basis of the signed rental agreement and the General Terms and Conditions, which you accepted by signing the contract.

Every vehicle is subject to a thorough inspection upon return. Any new damage that was not present at the time of pick-up must be assessed in accordance with required repair technology to restore the element to its proper quality condition. The number of pre-existing scratches on other parts of the car does not affect the valuation of a new defect. As a customer, you are held financially liable only for the specific damage caused during your rental period.

To avoid similar stressful situations and unexpected costs in the future, we always recommend purchasing additional protection packages that eliminate the renter's financial liability for any new damage.

Just avoid and safe hidden costs

Hiden costs, dirty car on arranged collection point, rude unhelpfull personel.
Worst car hire experience in 20yrs of traveling. Great experience at Krakow but worst ever in Wroclaw.
I'd say avoid. There are other companies.

No issues on my rental

Both collection and return of the car went without any issues and it's good to see that they didn't want to try to rip me off with some imaginary new damage upon out-of-office return like it happens with some companies. Having worked in vehicle hire business myslef, I was a bit surprised to see cleaning is not free, but at least you can do it yourself to save some money or pay to not worry about it.

Tried to unlawfully charge for var cleaning.

Unfortunately, my experience with KaizenRent was very disappointing, and for the first time in over 20 years of renting cars in different countries, I felt the need to take detailed photos of the vehicle when collecting as it wasn't perfectly clean and keep the car wash receipt — my intuition did not fail me.

After returning the car, I was accused of bringing back a dirty vehicle and informed that I might be charged a cleaning fee. The problem is that the car had been washed before return, and I had proof in the form of photos and the car wash receipt. When I asked for photos of the alleged dirt, none were provided. Eventually, the company withdrew the charge, explaining that “after the final verification” there were no grounds for applying the fee. This naturally raises the question: who initially decided the car was dirty, and based on what evidence?

I cannot help but feel that if I had not had proof, I would have been charged unfairly. It is also hard not to wonder how many customers — especially those already flying out of Poland — simply give up in such situations because they have no practical way to come back and defend themselves.

Additionally, the service at the airport left a lot to be desired. The employee assisting me was far from professional. Out of genuine goodwill, I pointed out that the link sent by the company (supposedly meant to speed up and simplify the car pickup process) was not working. Instead of a simple “Thank you, we will pass this on to our technical department,” I was told: “It works for others.” A moment later he added: “Maybe next time it will work.”

There will not be a next time, dear boy. :)

It is a pity, because my email communication with customer service was actually very professional and polite, which makes the inconsistency in service standards even more noticeable.

And one final practical note: if someone returns a car at 4 a.m., it is physically impossible to wash it “right before return.” The car can only realistically be washed the evening before, and after that there is still the drive to the airport, possible rain, dust, or simply using windshield washer fluid. Expecting a vehicle to remain in exactly the same pristine condition several hours later is simply unrealistic.

Definitely not recommended.

No hidden costs and no charging for made up reasons

Really quick and easy, they didn’t try to make up extra charges like most companies do and had no extra hidden fees like need a credit card with a big limit or stuff like that which I seen in other companies. It was my first time having no issues or stress while renting a car
