Supported their kickstarter for Kaibo…

Supported their kickstarter for Kaibo Flow. Power button stopped working a few months after receiving it. They advertise a 1 year warranty. Contacted customer support via website and received an email saying I'd hear back in 12-24hrs. Heard nothing back for 2 weeks. Sent another message and still no response. They don't actually have any support for their products at all. For the prices they are charging go with a big brand instead.

Update (16 June 2025): despite the reply below, I continue to hear nothing from the company "support"

Update (17 July 2025): sent another support message but no reply after a week again.

We sincerely apologize for your inconvenience. Kaibo’s third-party warehouse was just out of business due to unexpected reasons. The new warehouse is set and ready to provide support. We will take care of your issues.

No support on broken Kaibo Flex

After less then a year of use, one side of my Kaibo Flex is not working anymore. It seems to be not charging anymore and does not give any sound.

The support just mails back that they don't have support anymore on the product because they are working on new variants.
I highly recommond you to not buy their products! They just steal your money when the product is malfunctioning!!

No support on hardware issues

Exact same experience as Dave Wilson.

I supported them on kickstarter and they did do a nice update after complaints from customers.
The audio quality is good but forget about making calls, either via phone or laptop via bluetooth, the person on the other side can hardly hear or understand you.
Their support is only by keeping you occupied via email and then when it turns out that it is an actaul hardware issue, I got the statement the Kickstarter campaign closure was too long ago (I received them little less than 12 months ago) and "as they are in the US they can't help".

I can't recomment Kaibo Flex

I can't recomment Kaibo. I bought the "Flex", bone conducting headphones. In fairness they do work pretty well and Kaibo have listened to customers about the automatic shut-off sensors and made it possible for the user to disable it via a Firmware update - great!
However. The battery in the left earbud has failed. It was getting gradually worse until it won't charge at all. A ticket to Kaibo resulted in them saying that the Kickstarter campaign closure was too long ago (I received them less than 12 months ago) and "as they are in the US they can't help".
I did write to them and request a replacement or repair but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears.
So the reason I can't recommend them is that the product which I've had for less than 12 months failed and they won't honour any kind of warranty.

Kaibo Flex very good bone conducting headphone

Review Kaibo Flex:

I have used the Kaibo Flex now a longer time (months). The sound quality is thus very good and comfort good.

Tested connected to the
Apple iPhone 13 Max Pro,
Apple iPhone 14 Max Pro,
Samsung Galaxy Note 9,
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra,
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8 Ultra,
Apple iPad Pro 2021,
Apple Watch Ultra,
computer,
television, …

Compared with wireless ear buds
Beats PowerBuds Pro,
Apple Pro 2,
Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II,
Sony WF-1000XM4,
Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3,
Google Pixel Buds Pro,
Bang & Olufsen Beoplex EX,
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.
Cable Bose QuietComfort20.
And bone conduction earphones
AfterShokz Aeropex,
AfterShokz OpenMove.

The sound quality is thus very good. Because of not so much bass it comes after the wireless in-ear earbuds regarding sound quality,
but before the AfterShokz models in sound quality.

Kaibo Flex is a favorite headphone over all other models because it allows the environment sounds to be heard very good as the ears themselves are not covered, with also very good sound.

5 stars on 5 stars for the Kaibo Flex.

No product, no response. Avoid!

Kaibo don't care about their customers at all. I bought their latest headset through their Kickstarter campaign, and when it was sent, I got a message from the courier company saying it was left at my front door (which is right on the street) and that they were given authority to leave it. I was never asked to grant authority, and if I was, I would have said no because there is nowhere safe to leave it.

The courier said it was Kaibo's issue because they did as they were instructed. Ive been trying to get a response from Kaibo for 6 weeks now via email and social media, and they won't respond. How are customers supposed to resolve issues if they don't even have the decency to respond to emails? What am I supposed to do?

People who have received their headsets (the Kaibo Flex) are complaining they don't work because the software is buggy too.
