Upgraded me without my permission
They must of made millions by automatically upgrading people as i paid then paid again for more use then two weeks later a large amount came off my bank card by them and app said thank u for upgrading and it wasnt even end of month it happened middle of the month so it looks like they are stealing. Often screws the command up to make a certain video like ask my image in a tuxedo and it makes a video of me eating in the same t shirt. I also hate the new layout. I wont support them for many reasons

Subscription Billing: All trials automatically convert to the selected paid plan at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand. We have no record of you contacting us about your subscription prior to renewal.
Subscriptions run on a rolling monthly basis from your signup date, not from the start or end of a calendar month. For example, if you subscribed on the 18th, renewals occur on the 18th of each month. This is standard across all subscription-based platforms.
At signup and checkout, you were clearly notified that your trial would automatically convert to the Creator Plan if not cancelled. This is standard practice for trials across all online services.
Video Generation Issue: From your description, it sounds like you uploaded an image of yourself in a t-shirt and asked for a video in a tuxedo. The tools you likely used (Kling or Minimax) are video animators, not video restylers. They animate the image exactly as it appears—they don't change clothing or apply style transformations.
If you wanted different styling applied, you would need to first edit or restyle the image (changing the t-shirt to a tuxedo) before uploading it to the video generator.

Predatory pricing, refund refused
To use the service you must agree to one free week followed by $30/month. I forgot to cancel within a week but contacted them immediately when the charge came through. They refused to refund me after two email exchanges where they just quoted their terms of service back to me.
Predatory.
Also the service wasn't very useful. It took me 300 credits just to get to one short video that sort of did what I described.
Post-reply edit: Readers can decide for themselves what's reasonable. I asked to cancel within minutes of receiving the charge notice and it was explicitly, pointedly denied. If you, like me, might forget to unsubscribe, then this is what you get. It's safer to just not sign up in the first place.

Cancellation Policy: Trials must be cancelled before they expire to prevent conversion to a paid plan. Contacting us after the trial has already converted and payment has been processed falls outside our refund policy, which is applied consistently to all users.
Alternative Options: For users who prefer not to commit to subscriptions, we also offer pay-as-you-go and day pass options for maximum flexibility.Platform Features: You only used Kling Standard during your trial. Our platform offers over 18 different features that generate various styles, types, and lengths of video. Exploring more tools might have provided better results for your needs.
Prompt Optimization: Your prompts needed more detail and dynamic keywords to produce better outputs earlier. Being descriptive and adding action-oriented language helps the AI generate more movement and engaging results.
We understand the frustration, but our trial terms are clearly communicated and our policies are standard industry practice.
Unfair auto-renewal and no refund – be careful
I signed up for a paid trial on Kaiber, thinking it would only last for that period. After the trial ended, they charged me again without warning or clear consent. I didn’t use the service after that and immediately requested a refund — but they refused.
There was no reminder, no confirmation, and no way to prevent the auto-renewal unless you cancel manually — which they don’t make obvious. It's a classic dark pattern.
If you’re thinking of trying Kaiber, be extremely cautious. Their refund policy is rigid and the support doesn't help once they’ve charged you.
Disappointing experience. I won't be coming back.

Title: Misleading Features, Poor Support – Avoid if You're Expecting Professional Results
I signed up to Kaiber hoping to design a band logo using their AI video and image tools, but the experience was frustrating from the start. Despite carefully crafted prompts and uploading my own sketches, the results were distorted and unusable.
It felt like intentional sabotage forcing you to buy more credit. The platform gives you no upfront warning that certain input types—like hand-drawn logos—won’t work, nor does it guide you toward the right tools before you waste your credits.
When I contacted support to request a refund for my unused credits, I was met with condescending, AI-generated replies that blamed me for not using the platform "correctly," instead of acknowledging the lack of clear onboarding or proper tool descriptions. Even after escalating, I was refused a refund and told it was essentially my fault for assuming the tools would work as expected.
Unless you're prepared to waste time and money experimenting blindly, I would steer clear. Kaiber may have potential, but the current setup and customer support make it a poor investment.

The features are not misleading. The issue stems from how they were used. Specifically, you attempted to create a Kling video using a sketch on lined paper, which you were previously advised not to do. We provided clear guidance on how to prepare images correctly for that feature, but that advice was rejected aggressively.
In addition, the prompts you submitted were not suitable for any AI video generation—they lacked structure, clarity, and essential descriptive elements. We also took the time to advise you on how to craft effective prompts that align with the system’s capabilities.
The reality is this: unless you're open to learning from these experiences, it will be difficult to improve your results or grow as an AI creator. Tools like Kling are powerful, but they require accurate input and a basic understanding of how they work.
We do not issue refunds for content generated using incorrect or unsuitable input. That said, we still offered you a goodwill credit to retry using the proper approach and guidance provided—but you declined that support.
We are not responsible for the users prompt but will guide the user to correctly structure their prompt.
We're always here to help users get the most out of the platform, but we also expect a willingness to engage constructively and follow the tools' intended use.
For context i even broke down the issues you were facing
1. The Prompts:
Your prompts are too abstract and poetic, using design language that lacks clear visual direction. Terms like “timeless elegance” or “surreal yet refined” sound appealing but don’t tell the AI what to generate. For successful results, prompts need to be visually specific, focusing on elements like shape, composition, style, lighting, and background. Without this clarity, the AI struggles to produce anything meaningful.
2. The Image (Lab 2):
You uploaded a sketch on lined paper into Image Lab 2, which isn’t suited for refining rough drawings. The notebook lines interfere with the model’s interpretation, and the sketch lacks definition for proper stylization. For this type of input, Image Lab 1 with the Stencil Upload feature is the correct tool. Using a vague prompt with an unclear sketch gives the AI poor data to work with, which leads to disappointing results.
3. Kling Video
You’ve also tried animating the same lined-paper sketch in Kling, which isn’t going to produce the effect you're expecting.
Kling does not restyle or auto complete sketches—it simply animates the image exactly as it is. If the source image is rough, incomplete, or includes distracting elements like paper lines, that’s exactly what will be animated. The output will feel broken or unfinished because the input is.

Unresponsive and poor customer service
I signed up for the trial to see if the tools would be useful for a project I was working on. Unfortunately, they didn’t suit my needs, so I canceled—albeit just outside their 5-day refund window, which I acknowledge.
Still, I reached out hoping to speak with someone about a possible refund. It’s now been four days since I first contacted Phil, and every day I’ve been told someone from the team would get back to me “as soon as they’re online.” That still hasn’t happened.
At this point, it feels like I’m being strung along rather than given proper support. I understand policies exist, but the lack of communication and follow-through has been really disappointing.

Poor Customer Service
Company's AI image production tool is OK - not outstanding, but not terrible. Problem is their customer service. They promised a 5-day trial period for $5, but when I told them I decided not to subscribe to the service on the 5th day, and asked them to refund a $29 subscription charge they had prematurely put on my card, they refused. They said even though I had notified them of the cancellation on the afternoon of the 5th day, they would not honor it because it was approximately 1.5 hours later on the 5th day than the time at which I started the trial. The standard custom & usage in every industry offering a trial period, and definitely for online sites, is to honor a cancellation communicated anytime before the last day of the trial, as opposed to picayune protests based on the exact time. Kaiber.ai either isn't aware of this or they don't care, and they have refused to provide a refund even when this was brought to their attention. So while I would give the app a 6 out of 10 on how their image generation software works, I'd rate them a 2 out of 10, with 10 being the best, on customer service. There are many online companies which offer similar capabilities to Kaiber, and which likely have a more ethical, customer-friendly approach to trial periods and refunds. I'd suggest signing up with them instead of Kaiber.
