The program totally screwed my computer and I've had to reinstall the os and a multitude of programs and I am still in the process of reinstalling programs.
Sorry, I can't give a positive review but it's important for potential purchasers to know what can happen when using this program.

Deserves the merit it gets from its users.
Extraordinary developer which admits when he has made a mistake then corrects it.

I have used this application for many years and have no reservation in recommending it to Windows users.

Clutter (unwanted files) builds up in Windows but JV16 from this clever Finnish company keeps you working and at least postpones the need to rebuild your PC every year.

I'm using JVTools foor a long time and it is very good!

So far just used as a maintenance tool and program has kept win 10 running smoothly.

It has never failed me! I have been using JV16 for soon 20 years to keep my computer running smoothly and it has never created any problems for me.

I haveen using this amazing ulility since it first came out, became a life member straight away. Has never let me down. It has just gotten better and better. Thank You for a great product and support, Cheers George

As a 10 year user of JV16 Power Tools, I can't recommend this product highly enough. On those few occasions when I can "feel" that my computer is not performing as I remember. I just run JV16 and all is back to running like a fine watch!

It helps when problems occur.
It helps when performance is low.
It helps when beeing unsure what to do.
And support helps when nothing else helped.

It's a great tool that works like they say it does to keep your computer running safely and smooth.

I've been using JV 16 for years. It has always been an incredibly powerful tool and when used carefully can get a person out of a bind.

I've always appreciated warnings when non recoverable changes could be made when using a feature. That's what I mean by carefully - JV16 is so powerful that a person needs to consider his or her actions!

I had a problem executing the program (suddenly stopped).
A very competent and quick response (Sunday ! evening) solved the problem. Thank you very much.

I have been a user of the software since RegCleaner, and I have been following its evolution. I use jv16 PowerTools constantly to keep my computer flying.
My version is for life and I recommend the app to everyone.

Update on my previous review, due to new version release.

Have used jv16 Powertools ever since the first version (called RegCleaner ) was developed by Jouni Flemming, way back now. And it has been in my utilities toolbox ever since, evolving into what we have today.

And I can honestly say that (i) running/using it has never caused me a system issue & (ii) on several occasions it has resolved several system-related issues, quickly, efficiently & without fuss. It has just done it job.

In my opinion, this new, rebuilt from the ground up, version is the best yet in terms of focus & usefulness, and process to get it to release has been 'satisfyingly' lengthy most likely indicating that the quality aspect of the application has been extremely important.

The Macecraft Support staff that I have dealt with, on the rare occasions that I have had to contact them, have always responded quickly & efficiently, and for that reason I bought a licence many years ago, and continue to use the application to this day.

I would very much recommend it to anyone considering/wanting to use this sort of application (always remembering to back up before use, of course).

I've been a subscriber for over 10 years. About a couple of years ago, when they were reaching out to everyone to become a lifetime subscribers I asked them how long I had been a lifetime subscriber...they responded 6 years...and I felt I had gotten my money's worth over those 6 years. I don't know of any other company that has held to their promise of a lifetime subscription...most just say, we had to make a major change and you have to buy a new subscription...but, because I have been so happy with their product JV16, I decided to pay again for a second lifetime subscription...I didn't need it, but I wanted to show my support for JV16...You just might feel the same 5 years down the road from now.

If you use windows you should use this software, i use it already for more then 15 years and have a lifetime account. Just to make sure they stay alive.

As a user of JV16 Powertools since the beginning (Regcleaner) and all the changes so far I would just like to make some relevant points that I have encountered up to now.
Since using the program Regcleaner I could see the potential of the program and joined in as a beta tester and did so up to JV16 PowertoolsX, this version I think was the best as it had some extra tools built-in which were really useful to the end-user and yes I know that they were probably available in other programs but to have them in one place you were using just made sense.
Since the change from the "X" version, I did not feel comfortable with the program and just used the "X" version, but kept an eye on the progress of the new one and had it on my system to see what changes were in progress and now see it coming back to what the end-user wanted, I applaud the team for the work put into trying the change but it went away from the original concept way too much and lost faith with the community they had built up.
I now use the new version as it is getting back to the original program but with newer tools and getting faster, so all your potential customers get this program and at least try it.
