Very poor and unreliable service from…
Very poor and unreliable service from Justice for Tenants. They act as intermediaries for tenants but abandoned my housing disrepair case at the last minute with weak excuses. They failed to provide the promised support and left my family in a difficult situation. It seems they only want easy cases and do not genuinely care about helping tenants. I would not recommend their service."

I had a very positive experience with Justice For Tenants. They were professional, helpful, and quick to respond to my enquiry. They explained my rights clearly regarding my tenancy deposit issue and gave me useful guidance on the next steps. Their team was polite, supportive, and made a stressful situation much easier to understand. I really appreciate their help and would highly recommend them to anyone needing advice with tenant or landlord disputes.
Useless organisation.
Useless organisation.
Asked for advice about a disrepair situation with my landlord and they said they could not do anything, that I had to go and look out for a solicitor.
All marketing to get funds and donations and then shrug their shoulders if you ask them for advice. Pure scam.
Worth contacting if you've had a dodgy landlord
I'm overall happy with my experience with JFT. They can be slow to respond and I think communications could be improved in giving all necessary information in one go instead of someone providing their evidence and then waiting weeks for a response before getting an email asking for the witness statement.
That being said, I'd always get a response and the team was very helpful in explaining the process and working on my behalf. My ex landlord wasn't licensed (wasnt even the legal owner it turned out) and we had a mouse problem he refused to help with so being able to claim back at least some of my rent was a relief and I'm grateful to JFT for their help with this.

I had a great experience with Justice for Tenants. The team was professional, supportive, and kept me well informed throughout the entire process. Their dedication and expertise made a real difference, and I’m very grateful for the positive outcome of my case.
A special thank you to Mr. Edward Phillips, who was absolutely outstanding. His professionalism, expertise, and commitment to my case were exceptional, and he went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled properly.
I would also like to thank Aby for the excellent communication throughout—always responsive, clear, and supportive, which made the whole process much easier.
I would highly recommend their services to anyone in need of reliable and effective help.

Missed Deadlines & High Fees: Use With Cautionultiple reasons why you…
There are multiple reasons why you shouldn't go with JFT unless you want your case to fail..
Firstly, JFT charges one of the highest fees among RRO organisations, taking 30% of the award, whereas several other services charge closer to 20%.
The biggest problem was the lack of responsiveness and delay in handling our case. We provided all requested documents, including witness statements and supporting evidence, but our case then sat with JFT for around five months with no meaningful update or progress. As a result of this delay, we were unable to claim for part of the eligible rental period because the statutory deadline had passed after we had already moved out for more than a year.
Even after the tribunal issued its decision, there was also a two-week delay in transferring the awarded funds to us.
Overall, the experience was frustrating and fell short of the level of support and efficiency we expected when seeking assistance with an RRO claim.
Hugely helpful
JFT was hugely helpful in helping me get to a resolution with a legal tenancy dispute. They were thorough and organised in their response and put me in touch with a solicitor who could help on a no-win, no-fee basis. Thank you!
Excellent
Prompt responses, detailed advice and excellent communication. We are grateful to the team for their support.
Not interested in helping
As soon as they heard I was also having issues outside their remit, they jumped on this as an excuse to ignore everything that was within their remit and refused to talk to me any further.
responded very quickly
responded very quickly, proceeded with legal action and referred to a specialist law firm.
Justice for Tenants - a brilliant organisation
Justice for Tenants is an incredible organisation. I approached JFT after discovering my landlord didn't have the correct license, and they were extremely helpful in supporting my RRO case (which was successful). Yes, it takes a long time and requires a lot of patience - but in the end, it is worth it. I would also like to give a special shout-out to Edward Phillips, who did a brilliant job representing me at the hearing. I really believe JFT is a vital resource for tenants who may not be able to afford the legal fees of pursing action against landlords, and I'm so appreciative that it exists. Thank you JFT, Aby, Shan-Jun and Matt for all your hard work and support.
After contacting multiple organisations…
After contacting multiple organisations looking for advice on how to deal with a very stressful situation I'm facing with my landlady, I have finally found one that has really helped, given great advice and information and even referred me to a solicitor, on a no win, no fee basis. Steven my contact has been amazing in clarifying many points applicable to my situation and outlining where I stand legally and what my options are. Thank you
Justice for Tenants helped me through RRO and deposit claims
Justice for Tenants helped me through the process of deciding if I was able to submit a Rent Repayment Order, they pointed out that I wasn't able to due to a certain law that I wasn't aware of which saved me time and effort filling out the RRO form. They did however help me realise that I could put in a deposit claim and referred me to partnered solicitor who could help me through the claims process.
No response, lost a client with all the evidence, and case he took on by himself.
I would not go anywhere near these. I had contacted these on many occasions about an unconverted commercial property that were being let as a HMO that I was living in. They never responded after the first email.
As the adage says 'if you want a job doing do it yourself'. Thankfully I did as I knew they wouldn't be up for the challenge when all the evidence was there
Just want to praise Steven
Just want to praise Steven — he responds very quickly and was able to solve my issues, even referring me to the relevant organization. Very professional and efficient!

Actually they are very friendly and fast responded me. I’m very happy
Unbelievably patient, understanding and clear.
Me and my ex-housemates used their services after being evicted.
Our situation was very complicated and as we were going through the process after the eviction, all of us were scattered around London and abroad, so we were not very co-operative or clear as a group, but the team of JFT stuck with us through it. They were always very clear, patient, understanding of all our complications and willing to find solutions.
I definitely recommend and trust them.
Highly recommend
Highly recommend, the team responded promptly and gave me lots of details and were very quick with passing my case details across to the recommended solicitor. They picked up an issue which we didn’t even realise ourselves and were very helpful with what steps we could take for that issue. Thanks Justice For Tenants!
