Stay Away from Just Answer

This company, Just Answer, is a fraud. They tend to charge you without your knowledge, and they tend to hold your subscription as a member even though you have not signed up for a membership. They don't tell you the actual cost up front, but will, for $1.00, get help. Then they charge your CC $65.00 without your knowledge. I have canceled once on February 1, 2026, Transaction ID 177305304. Then I just noticed another charge again of $65.00 for April 1st.

This company did not help me in anyway and they don't provide the survice I needed and so, I was surprised when I got charged $65.00 for a survice they couldn't provide.

Now I have an alert on my cc if they try to charge me again.

Absolute con

Absolute con
Be careful with this website you will end up with a subscription for £30pm
What is worse cancellation is impossible as you are directed to a company called Xpendy they will then charge you 9.95 for the privilege
Trying to speak to any of these companies is like making tea in a chocolate teapot
Don’t go near

Never use JustAnswer

My laptop screen went black. This presented a tremendous problem since my only income comes from online editing and reviewing. I panicked and looked up possible answers on JustAnswer. I was immediately connected and went through the problem. I was told that it would cost $5 for her to connect me to a technician at Apple. When the connection came through (after I had agreed and signed up for the $5 ) I was told that the charge would now be $46 to establish a new subscription, since I had cancelled a former JustAnswer subscription (not). They put the charge through my bank immediately. When I objected, I was told that they would cancel the subscription but (fine print) would not refund. This is ridiculous. I used the service for less than ten minutes. Stay away from JustAnswer. They are a total scam.

Endless messaging with a Bot to then…

Endless messaging with a Bot to then get a pretty rubbish answer. Endless pop ups trying to get your money.
Then charged me £39 for a subscription I didn’t ask for and it took a fair while to sort it out.
They even try to get you to pay to get help quicker.

Stay clear of these people!

Somehow they managed to sign you up for something you haven’t fully agreed to. I was being billed a monthly I think it was round about £38. It might’ve been £50. I would have to check. The point is I was surprised to realise that this was coming out monthly. I wrote to them asking them to refund the money. Somehow I don’t think that’s going to happen. They’re definitely tricky. I would advise people to stay clear. I only wanted to ask a question and this was the cost. This level of dishonesty should not go unchecked. The question is what can you do about it?

Beware of this company. Rip off

I have a tv problem, I went to this site & was told it would cost $5 = £4.10p to be able to speak
to an engineer. I pressed to pay via pay pal and noticed that they was going to charge me $38.93 = £32.00
