Disappointing customer support experience
I recently purchased a pair of Journee Collection booties through Target.com (Target Plus partner). Unfortunately, the boots did not fit due to my high instep. The item is completely new and unworn.
My return attempt was made only one day outside the return window. I contacted Target and was directed to reach out to the brand directly for a possible exception. However, when I contacted Journee Collection, I was told that they could not assist because the purchase was made through Target and that the issue must be handled by Target.
As a result, both sides simply redirected me back to the other without offering any solution, even though the item is new and the delay was minimal.
I understand that policies exist for a reason, but it was disappointing that no goodwill option, exchange, or store credit was offered in this situation.
I hope the company considers improving how situations like this are handled for customers who make purchases through marketplace partners.
