Just booked a holiday to go Poland in December Sunita was very patient and understanding but their Extras were expensive £29 pp for admin and after looking at another travel company we are paying £75 each for transfer fee ( £150) compared to £60 for return trip inc with the other company and £58 for a cabin bag each compared to £60 for 1 x suitcase with the other company (same airline ) Holiday originally £325pp total is now is £487 each
I have tried to contact Johnson’s re the price difference and they are not responding yet when selling me the holiday responded straightaway?
Samuel Richard’s was a lot of help with booking my holiday to Ibiza. Would highly recommend.

I note your comments; however, I do not agree that the issues raised reflect the standard described at the time of booking, particularly in relation to the cabin condition, upgrade charge, and overall experience.
As I have not received a satisfactory resolution, I will now be progressing this matter through independent channels for further review.

I can honestly say I had a good experience with the Johnson travel team over the phone when booking and on our arrival at our destination which was 5 star Hilton in Hurghada Egypt which i named myself when booking to ensure we had Hilton Plaza but this all changed after we were picked up at our Hotel to transfer to the start of our 7 day Nile river cruise things had went down hill fast.
When we reached the river boat which was docked down a shabby laneway this was not a great start and many of the other passengers complained also about this.
After entering the boat which was called Viking we met our tour guide who informed us of our cabins. At the time of booking I had booked a top floor cabin especially for our 50th wedding anniversary and informed Johnsons travel staff of this but after meeting the tour guide on board he informed us that all passengers who were at this same meeting would also be getting cabins on top floor even though they did not pay the extra 254 pound we had paid to especially get this room.
We were then brought to our cabins I was then shocked when I looked in and seen two single beds pushed together even though I requested a luxury room as this was supposed to be a 5 star river boat but after seeing our room it was more suited to 2 or 3 star given the state of the bathroom and floor of the bathroom which were disgusting and which I have photos to show and passed to Johnsons on my return to complain but who have ignored. To make matters worse those other passengers who did not pay for supposedly luxury rooms got given rooms with queen beds.
We were then further surprised when we could not open the curtains in our cabin room as there was another river boat parked at the side of our boat blocking our view and which was a continous event throughout our whole cruise when we docked and which created diesal fumes coming into our cabin as their engines were running.
When these boats joined together side by side which as i said was a Continuous event they used their doors for other passengers from the other boats to walk through our boat to come on or off the boat and we had to do same on occasions, at times these boats were 5 to 7 deep. This was so disturbing and frustrating because of diesal fumes and noise from other boats engines etc.
Honestly I would not recommend this company or river boat Nile cruise to anyone as it is definitely not a 5 star cruise as advertised. The company has yet to positively respond to my emails on my issues.
The only reason I got 5star hotel at Hilton was because I pushed for the Hilton it was not offered at my time of booking. I spoke to many of other passengers later who were not happy with their hotels or the condition of boat.
