Be careful about giving your credit…

Be careful about giving your credit card details to the online store. Purchased (and paid for) a top on line in August 2022. October 3 a charge for $345 was made by Johnny Was to my credit card. They have confirmed that someone at JW "attempted to use my card but it was declined"
I have informed them that the charge went through and given them proof that it is still a debit on my VISA. They will not tell me why they were keeping my credit card details on file without permission or why someone was "attempting to use" my cardf 2 months after my purchase. I am going to have to register a fraud and cancel the card.

JW MISLABELED WRONG SIZE CLOTHES, NO CREDIT!

I recently purchased a few items during the extra off markdown summer sale. Unfortunately 2 of the items even though labeled XL the size ordered when i tried the items on they clearly did not fit so something was wrong with items. I took my measuring tape and was very upset to find out both items were mislabeled with the wrong sizes. The pants for an XL should have measured 50 inches wide, they did not, they measured 45.5 which according to the JW size chart is the measurement for a L, not the XL they were labeled. So these items according to JW are not returnable because they are 50% off. I cannot wear these items because they dont fit and were labeled with the WRONG SIZE. Regardless I mailed them back and demanded a REFUND and if I dont get the REFUND I will be calling my CC COMPANY to complain and get my money back! BEWARE about this before ordering from JW in the future!!

WRONG ITEM sent, no refund, no apology

Johnny Was sent me the WRONG ITEM in an order I made. 2 of the items I ordered, including of course THEIR ERROR, had to be returned. They refunded me for one item right away. The other item, the one SENT TO ME IN ERROR, arrived back to them on the same day yet I haven’t been refunded yet. I’ve called and emailed both, multiple times, with no help (or apology for their error!!) being offered. They also refused to provide me with contact information for their Customer Service so I could share my concerns directly with the department that is supposed to care for the company’s customers. Worst customer service I’ve ever had, especially since THEY MADE A MISTAKE.

Horrible quality and NO customer service

I used to love Johnny Was (an all their affiliated brands) but recent experience changed it all for me.... I do not know if they changed ownership or leadership, but customer service now is nonexistent, it is like talking to a wall.
As everyone knows, it is not a cheap brand. Prices for one item run in hundreds of dollars. But I loved their designs and quality of fabric and craftsmanship was always good. As was customer service. Well, not anymore....
Bought a dress on sale (with 30% off it was close to $200). It fit about three sizes too large. Called them the same day it was delivered. After a protracted conversation they begrudgingly issued a store credit. Mailed the dress back (same day mind you and paid the postage myself).
In a few weeks decided to use the store credit to buy a kimono instead (had to add about $60 to the store credit). Thought to myself, how can you go wrong, I own several of their kimonos and they are great. Well, not so much anymore.
This new style has inferior materials, woven (extremely cheap looking) cuffs - absolutely atrocious! Called them again....
After several days of sending me to various employees, they informed me that nothing can be done, even though I contacted them the day kimono in question arrived. Blew my mind.
So, if you ordered from Johnny Was in the past - things have changed. If you are going to buy from them for the first time - good luck, if things do not fit they will not take them back or exchange.
I do not think I have been treated in this manner by any customer service ever.

Gem is not happy!!

I have bought many pieces of clothing from this company, some really beautiful shirts and others I have used as a rag on the floor. Customer service does not exist. I unsubscribed from the website. Too bad for Boho chic because I like to shop even during the pandemic.

Charging me extra money for no reason and won’t respond could be part of a scam

Purchased a beautiful silk blouse online absolutely love it unfortunately it was then followed up by a Second separate bill for over £30 no exclamation. I wrote to the company and asked them why I was being asked to pay this additional fee when the charge to a flat fee for postage and after three months and see emails I have heard absolutely nothing. Be wary I am not even sure whether this request from money is legitimate and given that I can get nothing out of this company I am left in a very difficult position and this could just be a scam stay clear
