Excellent professional company from initial contact to completion of work at my home.
Friendly and efficient staff, in particular Andy, who carried out the repairs.
I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Totally disorganised company! No one passed information on, huge gaps in communication from all members of the team, we had to do the chasing. Four months from enquiry, acceptance of their quote, paying a deposit then…the price went up. Then we needed scaffolding and they hadn’t included that in the price, then they refused to give us our deposit back until we insisted as nothing had been done by the company. Absolute shambles with incompetence from every member of staff involved.

John Knight have recently fitted my French doors and windows in Aluco aluminium, and they look fantastic. Dave, the surveyor, was meticulous with his measuring and the guidance he provided to my builders. Luke and his team have done an excellent job with the installation, and everyone in the office (Chris, Leesa and Leah) has been incredibly helpful throughout. I couldn’t fault the service and highly recommend them.

We ordered a large 4m wide, two panel metal framed sliding patio door and an oriel window to open up our kitchen & living area to the rear garden along with a small fixed window to bring light into a corner at the back of the room over the sink. All the windows have achieved our aims with the favourite seat in the house now being the oriel.

There was a miscommunication on the fitting of the oriel but John Knight followed this up with strong customer support and the issue is now resolved.

John Knight Glass advised delivery time in writing. unable to deliver products as quoted/ordered, John Knight Glass held over deposit. Items could not be supplied as order confirmation.
Triple glazing ordered. Double glazing supplied as alternative. My concern is the possible difference in U Values and future heating costs (order/invoice value) between the different products and Order value.

This company's after-sales service is abysmal. Our very expensive Crittall door has developed a fault after just under 2½ years. It is covered by a ten year guarantee. I phoned and was promised a call which did not happen. I have emailed many times with only one partial success: they phoned two weeks ago and asked for photos of the missing part despite having the full specification of what they fitted. We promptly sent a selection of photos with a detailed description and have heard nothing more. I have emailed numerous times and had no reply.

Our costly and lovely door is now precarious and on the verge of being unusable. I am devastated and dreadfully upset. We are now considering what our next steps might be to get this issue resolved. John Knight Glass is simply not interested.

Edit: John Knight have taken notice of this review and they have carried out a repair. Their fitter was careful, diligent and informative.

Ben visited my Mum's house to look at potential new windows and back door. His advice was invaluable. He listened to my Mum, understood her position and requirements and then provided excellent advice and next steps with contacts for other trades to undertake additional work. Recommend John Knight Glass for anybody looking for a professional service with honest, straightforward advice.

We are delighted we chose John Knight to install our new bathroom window. The work was done very professionally and efficiently, with no mess left. The new window blends in seamlessly with the existing ones. A top quality job!

The process from start to finish - of what could have been a stressful time given the size of our windows and old age of our house - was made nice and smooth due to the attention to detail of all the John Knight Glass staff that we dealt with. They were courteous and professional throughout. And the end result is one we're delighted with. Thank you!

Our new internal 'Crittall' style doors are fabulous. They look good and also feel good, closing with a satisfying 'clunck' every time, never a rattle. The fitters from John Knight Glass were exceptional, both very friendly and hardworking. They arrived on time and completed the job the same day.

Excellent job. Windows look fantastic with big attention to detail during fitting. The fitters were good to work with and left the house very tidy at the end of each day.

Very professional service from start to finish. The original salesman James wasn't pushy in anyway. He was knowledgeable, helpful and worked with us to get the designs that were right for us. The guys who did the fitting were really polite, no blaring radios, just worked really hard and were a pleasure to have around. There were a few snags after the fitting, but Hannah (the after sales manager) was brilliant and really helpful and understanding. There were no issues correcting the snags and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was fixed and we were happy. I would definitely recommend.

Mark and Lewis worked flat out all day and it was Good Friday. They didn’t waste one second and Mark returned the following day to finish everything off.
Their workmanship was excellent they were friendly, polite and very considerate of my property.

once the work had been planned, the workmen turned up on time and finished the job (eight windows) in a week. They were polite and as unobtrusive as possible. They were tidy, cleaning up after each day and causing minimal (but unavoidable damage) to surrounding walls and repairing any such damage. The windows themselves were well made with a good finish. The council inspector who visited siad he had not such nice windows.

From my initial call with Julie in sales to the fitting of the first phase of our Evolution windows, I have been so impressed with the team at John Knight. There were some issues with Evolution going into administration after our order was placed which was completely outside of John Knight's control. The team worked very hard on our behalf to try to keep to our original timeframe and kept us fully informed at every stage. Particular thanks to Greg and Barry in head office and Owen and Keith who fitted our windows. I have already booked the next phase with them and look forward to another worry free job from an excellent local company.

Our project manager was incredibly supportive throughout and ensured that our job was completed exactly as we had specified. Any issues we had were accepted and resolved, our satisfaction clearly mattered to the company.

Had four windows and a front door fitted. The level of detail at each stage was very good. Working out exactly what I wanted, measuring the property accurately, fitting the windows, finishing off and cleaning up. The finished job is solid and I'm extremely satisfied.

Just had Steve and Andy fit a new window. Great job. Thanks guys.

I have had beautiful sash windows fitted on my property and can't thank the installers and the rest of the team enough.

My first phase fit was great. Two lovely guys. Phase two was OK. Dishonesty from a guy who came out and didn't listen and quoted me incorrectly but was insistent that I was wrong.
Third phase caused damage to property and window but when one guy is expected to fit a whole bay window alone, and is in a hurry to get to another job I guess that's what happens. Constant blocking from meeting with Mr Knight and just overall poor customer service. Job that was to be amended from 1st phase now not done as the 2 excellent fitters who did phase one let go. I would NOT reccomend.
