Ask your customer when you make a mistake !
Order a product. They then didn’t have it. Cancelled my order without referring to me as I would have wanted the alternative. When I asked why they didn’t check with me it all became my fault. Dear me.
There comment and reply show their attitude. There was nothing wrong or rude in the emails. They are upset when I point out their failing. They clearly think they are better than their customers. Even return ones. Just beggars belief.
What they should have done is said.
1. They made and error.
2. We understand how disappointing that is.
3. We have it in another colour.
4. As a sign of good will, for our mistake we will offer you 10% off.
They didn’t. They can’t take feedback.
Again they show I am wrong.
The several emails that were sent were aimed to stop them doing something that they had given me no option of choice in after being let down.
If you order something in good faith the company takes your money then cancels, with out entering into 2 way communication to understand what the customer wants. How can one give anything but 1 star.
Ethically that’s what one honestly has to do when they subscribe to trust pilot and you are sent a link to review. This was reactive not proactive.

I am the Team Manager and have reviewed this matter in full.
Unfortunately, the item you ordered was out of stock due to a system error. Whilst not ideal, we acted promptly to inform you and issued a full refund to your original payment method in line with our standard procedure. A written explanation and apology were provided, and we also attempted to contact you by phone but were unable to reach you.
We understand this may have been frustrating; however, the matter was handled appropriately. For clarity, once a refund has been processed, it cannot be cancelled or redirected and must be returned via the original payment method. It is also unusual for a customer to request that a refund is not issued in circumstances where an order cannot be fulfilled.
Whilst we understand you were upset, I must note that the tone and volume of emails sent to a member of our team were distressing. She was acting in a professional manner at all times and simply carrying out her role. We ask that all communication remains respectful.

Poor communication and quality
Terrible experience from purchase 4 months ago. Order number #5255.
Delivery took longer than their website indicates, and no delivery details were provided, (I had to chase for them and was told they couldn't log in to their own system to check and a tree was blocking a road), so we were away when it arrived.
Their terms for reporting any issues are 12 hours from delivery.
Arrived badly damaged, and not just from transport.
Gem and Jon have avoided dealing with my dozen or so emails to address.
Luxury is very much not the case.
Garden furniture imported from China, stored badly, marked up and sold on. Showing plenty of surface rust already.
Avoid at all (literal) costs.
Unprofessional from start to finish.
*Edit: In an enormous coincidence, I received an email, apology and the issue was dealt with not long after this review went up so editing the review to reflect.

Outstanding product
