Do Not Buy Cars from JMV Cars and Don't Ignore this review!

I purchased an Audi S3 (2015, reg LV65 PXJ) from JMV Cars on 07/02/2026 for an advertising price of £17,975.

Within 30 minutes of driving, a low coolant warning light appeared. Within 3 days, multiple warning lights came on, including ABS, TPMS, engine warning lights, and headlight range faults. I was initially told this was a wheel sensor issue, which later proved not to be the case.

At the time of purchase, the car also had several issues, including a broken wing mirror, a broken sun visor, and a cracked speaker. Some of these were repaired free of charge, although the wing mirror took nearly a month to be replaced.

I later had a diagnostic check carried out at an Audi main dealer, which identified major internal multiple faults. A local mechanic also found a significant coolant leak and sensor issues.

On 26/02/2026, I formally rejected the vehicle under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and requested a refund. Despite multiple emails and calls, my request was repeatedly ignored, and I was not provided with senior contact details.

I was asked to provide a diagnostic report, which I obtained from Audi, and was told the cost would be covered, but this was not honoured.

The process continued for around two months, involving ongoing delays and legal action before I finally received a refund and returned the vehicle on 16/04/2026. I had also part-exchanged my previous car, so I was left without a vehicle during this time, which caused significant stress as I rely on a car for work.

Overall, the experience was very stressful and time-consuming, and I would strongly advise others to carry out thorough checks before purchasing from this dealership. Furthermore, do not trust the 4/5 reviews JMV Cars has which is clearly fake, hearing from my experience, and the sales advisor that sold me the car was Luke, whom I suggest you do not buy from him and the dealership, otherwise it will negatively affect your finances and mental health!

The reviews here are deceiving

The reviews here are deceiving. We purchased a Jeep wrangler from here which has been rife with problems. The MOT which it had on separate review was very suspicious. For example the handbrake doesn’t work… No responses outside of they “sacked the person that sold it to us” and we won’t sell them no more… next step is ofc trading standards, legal letters. There’s no email address… winding up order?

100% would recommend

100% would recommend! Lovely shop with helpful staff and decent prices :) Luke spent many hours with me running through everything for me to understand and helped me out majorly finding the perfect car for me! I came to view a car and ended up financing a better car within the same budget!

Fake Service History, Worst After Sales Service

Was told on test drive the car had full service history which would be provided, once sale was complete, I literally had to harass to get any sort of response or documentation. Worst after sales service. Provided fake service history where the company name and address did not exist, looks like they made it themselves on word.

Absolute great experience had such a laugh and good time with Luke he helped me out with sorting a new car for me and helping exchanging my old focus. Got a great green sirocco. Happy with everything. If you need a new car go down to jmv got some great cars there and ask for Luke.

Absolutely outstanding service from…

Absolutely outstanding service from start to finish. The team were friendly, knowledgeable, and never pushy, making the whole process stress-free and enjoyable. They took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I drove away in the perfect car for my needs. Everything was handled professionally and efficiently, with great communication throughout. I couldn’t be happier with my experience and would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for quality cars and excellent customer service.

I wouldn’t recommend

At the time of collection, the tailgate was not operating correctly. I was advised this was likely due to a flat auxiliary battery and that it should resolve after driving, with reassurance that the dealership would cover any work if the issue continued.
Further repairs were required, and although there was some delay and I had to follow up several times, the dealership did ultimately cover the cost as agreed. Communication throughout this process was inconsistent, which made it more frustrating than it needed to be.
Two months later, while the vehicle is still under warranty, it now requires replacement of both the main and auxiliary batteries. I understand batteries are not typically covered, but given the ongoing battery-related issues since purchase, I was disappointed that no goodwill contribution was offered.
I also tried on two occasions to discuss my concerns with another member of the team but did not receive a response. Overall, the aftersales experience has fallen short of expectations.

I’ve just got myself an Audi S3

I’ve just got myself an Audi S3, and John has been absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. Through no fault of JMV, the finance company provided incorrect information, but John went above and beyond to resolve everything and make sure I was able to get the car. His support and dedication were outstanding, and I couldn’t recommend the company highly enough. A great team and I’m very grateful for all their help.
