true story about Jet2…

I want to write a true story about Jet2 airline. Last night I had to cancel my flight to Izmir in Turkey due to a death in my family. Today I received an email from Jet2 saying my money I paid to the company cannot be refunded and I have to call it a big scam and crime. In the future if they let me fly with their company for free I would not go because the worst airline not only in the UK but in the whole world. I am 65 years old but this has never happened to me in my life, shame on this company how they steal money from customers. I would never recommend them even to my worst enemy because how do they think it should be normal, it is a big robbery on their part, it means whether you used our service or not we take your money. Dear readers of this truth about Jet2 airline, please keep in mind that this company will take your money whether you fly with them or not, shame on them. I am really sorry that I cannot leave less than one star. Thank you very much to all the readers of my truth about Jet2. Kind regards

Racist

Racist, rude staff. Discriminating the only Muslim passengers was insane, should be closed down for good.

Unacceptable Racist Behavior by Airline Staff

I am extremely disappointed with the way this airline treated several passengers. What I witnessed was discriminatory and appeared to be based on race. Multiple passengers were singled out and treated differently without any valid explanation, which was humiliating and unacceptable.
Every passenger deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their race or background. An airline should provide equal treatment to everyone, not create an environment where people feel targeted or discriminated against.
I sincerely hope the company investigates this incident, holds those responsible accountable, and provides proper anti-discrimination training to its staff. Until meaningful changes are made, I cannot recommend this airline.

Claiming expenses incurred when Jet2 had to cancel a holiday to Madeira because of high winds

My sister and I were booked on a holiday to Madeira on 8th June. We left Glasgow at 2.30 pm, flew to Funchal, circled several times but couldn't land because of high winds. We then diverted to Faro. After several hours sitting on the plane at Faro we flew back to Glasgow, arriving back around 3.30 am. There were Jet2 staff there and one of them gave me a card saying I should email them about the expenses we had incurred because of the holiday being cancelled. I did this on 16th June but got a reply saying they did not accept new claims on this email address, so I should put it on their webform. I did this on 18th June, but got no acknowledgement that they had received it. There is no phone number to call. Has anyone had any success in claiming back from Jet2 for this holiday which was cancelled? They have refunded the cost of the holiday already but we have around £700 of expenses which we incurred as well as the holiday cost itself.
