The leather on the sandal is very rough…
The leather on the sandal is very rough on the inside and the leather is very stiff, so it rubs on your feet and hurts and I already have a blister. Instead of being raw leather, it needs to be padded somehow or smooth so it doesn't wear on your feet and rub. The leather is very raw on the inside and unfinished.

These shoes are very comfortable.
What made my experience great?EVERYTHING! I purchased a pair of Sawyers two months ago. Very comfortable. Easy maintenance. Then you announced the Nomads, that have to be my favorites. I purchased pair immediately. I like the center seam, and the narrower profile/width. No break-in period, they are comfortable right out of the box.

I ordered and received James sandals they were too small and too tight . I then entered a long and irritating fight to get them returned. the process was unnecessary and could have been resolved quickly .

The James sandals you mentioned were not purchased from us directly. They were purchased via Etsy, which uses a different seller account and a separate return process that we don’t control.
From our store, you purchased the Daniel sandals, and that return was completed through our no-hassle return portal, which is designed to be quick and easy, and your return for the Daniel pair was handled through that system.
When you ran into trouble returning the James sandals through Etsy, we still tried to help guide you through Etsy’s steps, but unfortunately we can’t process or authorize Etsy returns on our end. It looks like the frustration you described in the review is tied to the Etsy return experience, and it was accidentally posted on our store review page.
If you’re willing, could you please update or remove the review from our store page and place it on the Etsy order instead, so it reaches the correct seller and system?
If you’d like, I can also point you again to the exact Etsy return path so it’s easier.
