Excellent Health Centre

I have always found the service easy to access with prompt attention and an excellent level of care. I find the new system of accessing the service online no problem at all and invariably I’ve been contacted the same day and seen the same day where needed. Test results are confirmed communicated promptly. I have found the reception staff very helpful.

Avoid at all costs

I’ve had a thoroughly disheartening experience with this practice. I was forced to contact NHS 111 on multiple occasions due to serious mental health concerns, and I strongly doubt that they ever reviewed the reports 111 mental health team has shared with them.

What’s more, their apparent concern with maintaining a polished online reputation is rather telling. When a healthcare provider seems more invested in optics than in actual patient welfare, it raises troubling questions.

It’s all about the money, really. Bear in mind that this practice is now part of a larger conglomerate, and their primary aim seems to be cutting costs.
That said, they don’t appear to be shy about using resources to manage their online reputation, or keeping their managers salary sky high, quite the contrast.

To my mind, this reflects a worrying tendency to prioritise marketing over their fundamental duty of care.

I can only recommend steering clear of this type of general practice. Take the glowing reviews with a pinch of salt, especially those that seem to lavish praise on oddly specific aspects of their GP duties. It all feels a bit contrived.

Couldn't ask for much more

Called 111 around mid morning - nothing urgent, just generally unwell. By mid afternoon a GP from the Jenner Practice had called me for a telephone assessment, and by late afternoon they were seeing me in person.

Newspaper headlines constantly tell us waiting lists to see GPs are horrendously long - but at least in my experience yesterday, it was the opposite. I don't think you could reasonably ask for anything more.

Obviously the dr was great and all that - but the main thing that made me want to leave a review was the great availability which you don't hear about enough. At least for me yesterday, the system seems to be working perfectly. A pleasant surprise!

The person who answered my phonecall…

The person who answered my phonecall was rather rude. I think she should have more regard for the safety and well-being of normal human beings just like her. Regarding the service, I would not recommend vising if you have the means to go to a private doctor.
