I found Jcink after IPBFree went down. Good free forum services are harder and harder to find these days but I have been impressed ever since by the dedication Jcink has to his company and to internet forums in general. I found him always to be cordial, helpful, and understanding not just to me, but to anyone who is using his service. Free services such as his rarely have the dedication and quality need to sustain themselves, but Jcink has proven time and time again that he is the best free forum hosting available on the internet today. I myself strongly believe in his business and feel that it is great not just for my community, but all active forum communities on the internet.

Absolutely looooove Jcink they are always rolling out new features and their support service is excellent! Have not found a better forum hosting team in years, and probably won't anytime soon.

Jcink is a solid hosting company. They're usually fairly reliable (far from an industry standard 99%, but you won't get much better from a free hosting SaaS). For a free forum host, they have a fair amount of features, and they've modified their base IPB 1.3 enough that it can actually scale decently as a modern forum host. But for all of their positives, dealing with their people completely outweighs that.

Jcink's support is well and truly nonexistent. Sure, you might be able to drop a line in their forums and hope that someone knowledgeable in the community may be able to answer you. But if you need to talk to their support directory, with anything that must be resolved privately, they not only drag their feet, but they deliberately avoid contact. I had to file a DMCA report with them, and not only did they ignore me completely from using their form, they also ignored me when I sent follow up emails to their legal and staff email accounts. I even filed a secondary report personally requesting contact, and it's been weeks still and I have been completely ignored. At this point, I think nothing short of a notification of intent to sue would get to them.

I love Jcink forums and I honestly believe you guys are the best forum providers on the net. Free or not, the best. Every day I discover new awesome things I can do with it that I didn't know about. You guys are great, thanks.
