Shocking company, shocking products and worst of all the customer service. Outright liars even at regional level, initially promising a solutions the abandoning my company costing me thousands of pounds. Avoid!

Having had Ceiling/Downlighters fitted as part of a large kitchen refurbishment programme we have unfortunately had to call upon the warranty that is provided by JCC. In all instances JCC have responded quickly, efficiently and with confirmation that replacement units will be with us in approx 3>5 days. It is most refreshing in this day and age to find a company that is as good as JCC. Well done to Henrietta and all at JCC.

Great product support. Henrietta replaced the part of a down light that had failed which was just within the 10 year warranty and Rod told me what I had to do. Great service, thanks.

Had an exterior floodlight JC45205 installed late 2020. Problem developed recently with the LED’s beginning to fail. As I was unsure as to whether the 2 year extended guarantee was still in force I emailed JCC Lighting, highlighting the dim output from the unit. The outcome is that they are replacing the unit with an upgrade with no issue raised as to whether the guarantee still applied. The process was smooth with the only request was that I provide the part and batch number on the failed unit. Henrietta the sales support coordinator added to the process making it both easy to understand and efficient. Would thoroughly recommend JCC Lighting.

Fitted the JCC Hybrid9 JC99903CH "interchangeable, integrated" LED downlights to kitchen and bathroom a couple of years ago. Chose these because they feature a removable bezel with integrated LED, simply twist off and replace, without needing to remove the lamp assembly.

Like an idiot, I assumed this meant that replacement LEDs would be available for years to come.

Fast-forward and now they are starting to fail - flickering and then go dead a short while after.

JCC say they are discontinued and are refusing to honour the warranty due to "product not being registered at time of purchase".

It's disgusting that a manufacturer can get away with discontinuing a product and refuse to support their customers by not providing replacement parts. What happened to the minimum 7 years' product support that manufacturers used to have to abide by?

Added to that, their customer support staff are rude and dismissive. I won't be buying JCC products again.

Great Customer Service.
Had a PIR light in the back garden that the home builder fitted. Unfortunately it failed after 2 years but when I contacted JCC they were more than happy to replace the faulty product. Can’t get better then that!

I have 17 of the V50 downlights installed throughout the house, currently around 2 years old. They look great, are very bright and so far none have failed. No flicker, and I love that the colour temperature can easily be altered after installation if required. Just keeping my fingers crossed for a decent life expectancy.

I've dealt with JCC for over 10 years and their product quality is top class. The V50 downlight was years ahead of its time and still continues to be a market leader. They deliver fast and are a professional lighting company.

I contacted JCC about a failed lighting unit installed in 2015 which had a 10 year warranty. I received excellent service from Henrietta and the failed unit was replaced.

Outstanding customer service. That’s how I would sum up their after sales support. I bought several ceiling lights 6 years ago and completed the warranty form. One of the lights recently failed so I completed the online form for a new light. I got a reply of acknowledgement straight away. After a week a replacement light arrived with instructions on how to install. All I had to do was take a photo of the light and email it back. Very simple and a no-quibble after sales service.

Purchased the 15w Nitelight LED flood lights to work in conjunction with our security system. Shortly after and minimal usage one unit failed and the electrical wholesaler changed it. Last week another failed (these flood lights are now discontinued), and our intruder alarm company installed the newer model.
Subsequently contacted JCC customer services and the 5 year warranty needs to be activated - there is no mention of this within the packaging - extremely short sharp can’t help you and would not answer my email challenging this. Very poor in relations and equipment I feel.

I would highly recommend JCC lighting and it’s products. I had around 30 Downlights installed on my house renovation in 2015. These come with a 10 year warranty that I was dubious about but every time I’ve had a unit fail (not that I’ve had many) they’ve happily sent me a replacement. I sent a warranty claim in on 30/08/22 and the following day a replacement was in the post. Henrietta in JCC’s sales support team has always made things as simple as possible. I would always pay a little more for any product if I knew they gave the same level of service provided as JCC.

I had a problem with some down lighters in my kitchen which were still under guarantee & I contacted customer services, I must say the service I have received from Henrietta Cornell has been excellent, she has been very understanding & helpful & is definitely an asset to the company.

Originally brought out down lights from JCC the customer service was excellent, but that’s just the start, the after sales service is second to none. I would throughly recommend JCC. And I will definitely use them again but that may be some time away as the products are superb.

Between 2013 and 2017 during a whole-house conversion/renovation, I had 65 JCC downlighters installed of various types in rooms throughout the house (All fire-resistant and mostly water-resistant models.) Three have recently failed with the same error - that after a few minutes of use, they begin to flicker and flash rapidly, and I've had to stop using them. Today I removed one from the ceiling to extract the failing 'bulb' and install a new one. Unfortunately - that can't be done as it's an all-in-one assembly and the light unit itself includes all the electronics. Not only does it not come apart, but there are no spares and the model now appears to be unobtainable anywhere (JC94171). So much for 10-year warranties, and so much for repairable electrics!

I had a complete rewire done on a 'cottage' property in Chester the electrician who did the job appears to have fallen victim to commercial failure and one of my JCC LED downlighters failed. It became apparent the Hybrid 9 unit (of which I had 24) had been discontinued and some replacements were not an easy option, also the advertised long guarantee period was only an option if the product had been registered.( due to my electricians seemingly ceasing to trade I could not check this). Following reasonable and constructive conversations with JCC I now have replacement module units for the lights

Been trying to contact these guys for weeks. No response.

What's the point in having a warranty if no-one ever gets back to you.

Obviously their lights are rubbish too as all 4 in our kitchen have gone out within 5 years...

Had my whole kitchen fitted with spr99903 downlights in 2018. told that they would pay for themselves. here i am in 2021 & the bulbs are failing but replacements are not available so I need to replace all 8. this time it will be cheap alternatives.
these were fitted by a friend's electric company. He says that they will no longer fit JCC products due to unreliability & difficulty getting spares.

Had 12 sealed unit led downlights fitted 4 years ago 2 have failed in the last 2 weeks and my electrician advises the units are no longer manufactured. JCC have refused to honour the 10 year warranty as apparently it had to be registered which I was never made aware of. Their standard 2 year warranty demonstrates the lack of faith they have in an expensive light unit.
DO NOT PURCHASE LIGHTS FROM THIS COMPANY unless you want to be replacing them every 4 years!

Dropped one star for reliability but the service has been great.

We moved into a new house (3 years old) that has around 20 JCC downlighters fitted.

As this was a new build I was able to provide the electrician certification and order and as such JCC have honoured the warranty and replaced all faulty ones.
