A truly horrendous firm. Not a shred of decency. 100% chancers and bullies. A property I own and the flat opposite were mis-numbered at land registry. A district judge signed a court order to allow us to get it amended. Fine. Despite knowing this, JB Leitch sough to evict my tenant and try to repossess my flat claiming they had the right number. They had already taken possession of the flat opposite (as they were supposed to) so they categorically knew they were in the wrong trying to repossess mine. Also, they didn't write to me with their intentions - and it was by pure fortune I happened to find out they intended to evict my tenant and basically steal my property. It went to court and I got the eviction quashed. Their barrister arrived 12 minutes late to the hearing and apologised to the judge, but not to me. Now, one of their paraplanners is telling me their client is facing costs due to this. I can see what's going to happen - chasing me for a debt I don't owe. It's bullying. It's harassment. It's absolutely unbelievable what this firm tries to get away with... and no doubt does get away with a lot of the time because innocent citizens can't afford to fight them or don't know which way to turn. I see from the other reviews I'm far from alone in my contempt for JB Leitch. I'm currently preparing to write to the local MP where this firm is based, as well as the press. An investigation is needed into their tactcis.

In my opinion this company should not be trading as lawyers. They lie, they bully, they threaten and they intimidate. They contacted my lender to claim monies that I was in dispute over. The lender paid them the monies (unwittingly) and JB Leitch refuted that they had ever received the monies and continued to send me demanding letters. Only when I provided them with evidence from the lender did they accept that the monies had actually been received. No apology, just a futher demand for other outstanding monies with a threat of seeking a CCJ if not paid within 7 days! Truly dispicable company. I've just calculated that they have extorted over £4000 from me in admin costs and legal fees alone in under 3 years!! I'm currently looking into a suitable solicitor to help me retrieve some of the monies. No matter what you pay them, they fail to offer advice, help, clarity or transparency. In these times of financial difficulty on the back of a global pandemic, increasing interest rates and cost of living rises, their rude and bullish approach is absolutely shameful. Avoid at all costs!

This so called company that should not be trading as it lies, to saying I will get my money back with First Port of recovering my money. I don't how the staff are prepared to work for them, under lies they make. And the amount of hours they say there working. I have the ombudsman looking into this. hopeful to stop this company trading.

Revolting company with equally revolting people. Problem you've got with them is a "computer says no" attitude.
Legal sharks that charge excessive fees for little work and bully and abuse people.

I didn’t want to give them one star and I’m a retired solicitor! I’m going to be issuing proceedings to try and recover some of their outrageous legal costs and administrative charges.

I hope that no one will face the worst nightmare to deal with this company which even one star is so generous to give to them. Simply avoid.

Horrendous conduct by this firm

In effect they have wormed there way into several RMC to threaten freeholders who pay service charges and scare them into
Thinking they can take possession
Or your house under section 121 of the land act , doubling , tripling your bill to make a quick quid from
Downloading a document of google. Rent charges are not the same as service charges and legal advice ( which I have had to seek ) have confirmed the provisions they are making threats under do not apply to your deeds that make zero mention of rent charges and recourse to take control of your home. Further more when you have to call them as they refuse to acknowledge or answer your emails they tell you that you can’t complain , thankfully the SRA think otherwise , the staff should be scraping chewing gum

Their solicitor is pulling me and threatening me to pay extral 20k pounds solicitor fees, even Judge has refused their appeal. I have to find legal advice to help me for defense.

These are nasty debt collector and not solicitors - never engage.

I dealt with Dan. He kept telling me to be quiet and listen or we wouldn’t get the details done! I was just trying to clarify as what he had sent me didn’t equate to what he was saying. I asked for a detailed breakdown to be sent to me as the billing was incorrect and he didn’t say goodbye, just slammed the phone down.

Useless company, fail to respond, Philip blocks emails to avoid work. Happy the blackmail and threaten, yet when it turns out that they are in the wrong and they are breaking the law then your concerns are not answered and passed to the companies donkey who gets muddled and confused. Being investigated by BBCs The One Show - AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I am a solicitor and are appalled at the behaviour of this firm. The object of this company is to bully people into paying debts often that are not due whilst running up significant costs for their own benefit. I have found this company to be lacking in knowledge in areas they purport to be very knowledgeable in, ie. Leasehold Law. As a leaseholder I have been left in shock several times at some of the responses they have provided in defence of some ridiculous decisions their client, my landlord, has made over the years. They seem not to apply logic in their strategies, but at the same time are ruthless in their pursuit of monies supposedly owed. Many laypersons are overwhelmed and intimidated by them and just give in. If you know your stuff they are not at all what they purport to be. Not impressed at all.

If I could give zero stars I would. Rude, arrogant and damn right unprofessional. And yes, bullying thieves.

Cow Boys Very unprofessional Reported to Solicitor Regulation Authority

Absolutely terrible firm- anyone who reads this- don't believe everything they say in their letters or when you speak to someone. They have standardised responses and won't actually consider the information you give them. Report them to the SRA- Solicitors Regulation Authority- who currently claim they don't have any other reports of misconduct about this firm- I have reported JB Leitch.

Golly gosh, I've never seen such a terrible company. Their customer service astounds me. Ive never seen such a company with such unprofessionalism. All their letters are written in such AI formates with are very rare. They are thefts stealing from unknowleable innocent people. I will take legal actions and I will win.

If I could leave 0 I would or even a minus. Leech by name and leech by nature. They have no clue about the law. They hire youngsters fresh out of uni who are basically glorified debt collectors and threaten you. They've now backed down as they incorrectly addressed me. Awful awful awful!
