DO NOT go here if you don't want your rims damaged. I told the receptionist, Sultan, that my wheels are worth a small fortune and I am extremely precious about them and was assured that the boys will take the best care of them.

One of them has clearly dropped an impact drill on my wheel and chipped the hell out of the powder-coating on one of my wheels. Since contacting them again they have flat-out refused to accept responsibility.

Happy to take my money then dog me when you mess up. Extremely upset and disappointed.

The crew at South Tweed Heads are so efficient, friendly and professional at what they do. I have no trouble at recommending their store to my friends and family. I am very happy.

Got 4 tyres for my Honda Civic. The guys at Jax Tyres Morrabin offered great quick service. They were happy to price match. So I got tyres for a good price and a wheel alignment in just over one hour. The coffee they offered while I was waiting for the car was great too. I would highly recommend them!

Cant argue as they have your car for ransom.

This review is well a deserved pat on the back to the staff at JAX Tyres.I made contact with Bobby at the Slacks Creek store to purchase some tyres he did nothing but bend over backwards to help both myself and my wife make a decision on the best tyres for our vehicle a 1997 Toyota Camry.The tyres were fitted in no time at all.The mechanic at the time had mentioned about some other items that will need attention in the future and a quote was drawn up and the price was very reasonable hence we went ahead and had the repairs done that were needed.My wife had to deal with having the repairs done as I was due to have major surgery and she usually feels intimidated by doing these things but she was quite comfortable with the process.Now I am home and on the road to recovery knowing that the old girl has been looked after, it takes that little bit of added stress off our shoulders.Would I recommend Jax Tyres "absolutely" no hesitations at all.

Have been to Jax Launceston many times with different vehicles and they have always been excellent. Just one issue this time and that is I told the salesman to put the best of the old in the boot for a spare as the one in the boot is stuffed.Got home checked boot the old tyre still there . Now I will need to find another tyre and pay for it to be fitted when all they had to do was read the order that was given to them.
None the less I am happy with the 30 minutes it took to fit the tyres and the price. will give them a stir along when I take it back in for a wheel alignment next week. Just hope I get no flats in the mean time.

Your service is pathetic, 3 times in the last 6 months I've used you and you never keep to your promised time to complete the job I normally allow an hour or two over the time you state but the jobs are not done when I return. On Friday 26/4/19 I dropped 4 rims off to be fitted with Achilles tyres, the salesman said leave it with us for an hour and we will have them done and took my number and said he would call when they were done and to bring the car down and they would fit them. So no phone call Friday, went down Saturday and asked where my tyres were after a search around by sales staff I was told the tyres had not been fitted to the mags but the service men were doing them now would be 15 minutes, nearly 30 minutes later tyres/mags brought out and given to me, no offer to fit them as previously promised just here they are now go. The Saturday morning salesman was apologetic. When I got home I checked the tyres and found that Green Provato tyres had been fitted not the Achilles that I had asked for. I was aware that the Achilles were a good tyre for a budget tyre but I know nothing of the Provato and online reviews generally state that they are not a good tyre. It would appear that you people at Jax do not communicate well with each other on jobs to be done and do not seem to care about your customers Launceston Branch Tax Invoice 114177

Extremely happy with my new O.Z. Racing Leggenda lightweight wheels, wrapped in Bridgestone Adrenalins. Has totally changed my Ford Fiesta ST driving experience. Cars steering is lighter, ride is less harsh over potholes, acceleration and braking are quicker.
Painless finance with Openpay. Wheels were going to take four weeks for delivery, they had them in two. By this time the tyres I'd ordered were on sale, got one free. Oh, and a bonus air freshener!

Booked for a brake machine. Was told would be 40 mins so i waited with young kid. At 1 hours he asked if i wanted new pads (so obviously had only got the tyres off, I said yes, but i had a school pick up, fine he said. At 2 hours i asked how it was going and he said just a few more minutes, half hour after still not ready. Was charged for a item that he never mentioned until the invoice came out and never discussed with me. Super poor service at Mitchelton store

Jax Tyres - Smithfield.

Booked in last week for 4 new tyres, wheel alignment, Full service and replacement of brake pads on my 2008 Honda Accord. I was told upfront what I could expect to pay but that if rotors were required it would be more.

I dropped the car off yesterday morning at 8am for the work to be completed. At 10.15am I had a phone call from Rob asking why I needed the brake pads replaced - He told me that there was still 90% left on the rear pads and 60% left on the front pads. I explained to him that while travelling on the M1 a few weeks before I had experienced some brake shudder whilst slowing down from 110 kph. He suggested that instead of replacing the pads that they would machine the discs.

I have to say that I was more than impressed - A lot of other mechanics would just have gone ahead and replaced the pads without questioning me.

Big shout out to Michael, Rob and the team at Jax Tyres Smithfield - I'll be back.

Had car wheels dun at warrawong by simon and hes team great service verry fast and great price verry happy with the service provided

Had diff bushes replaced, car had an immediate diff whine which I was told was the new bushes. Diff sheared failed 40 000 km later. Identification stickers on brand new diff were blank after work done, these normally last forever. I suspect more than my bushes were changed.

Made a 1200 booking the previous day for 4 new tyres, by 1330 the hadn't touched the car and had parked another behind it. I asked what was happening as I had to take my newborn to an appointment later that afternoon. Their excuse was oh sorry we misplaced the paperwork. They promptly rushed the car through. They proceeded to put a different tyre brand on to what I had ordered, inflated them all to different pressures (one was at 34psi, another at 52psi), only put 2 of the 4 valve caps on, scratched a rim and left everything including the drivers door covered in black stuff. Strongly reccomend going elsewhere.

fast efficient Honest service for a new company in our local area will be going back.another company tried to rip us telling us we had a bowed rim they re checked this to find there's nothing wrong with it at all. service was under estimated time to change the tyres and do an alignment and balance them. and the inspection report showed nothing else needed doing, was explained in detail and also given platinum membership for the tyres. very impressed. Went to Jax Mitchelton with a nail in my tyre.

They took the car and pulled out the nail but found it didn’t go right through so no repair was required.

They checked and adjusted all the tyre pressures as well as applied tyre shine and didn’t charge a cent.

Michelin PS 4S...... what dream tyre so far. Have just put a set on my Audi TT quattro after wearing out a set of Hankook Vento evo s1. Night and day at these early stages. Lighter road feel, quiet, direct and seemingly stiffer. Absolutely straightens up the car in bends and sticks to the line you take very well. Will see on petrol consumption but feel that they roll easier. At approx $50 per tyre more than the Hankooks why even hesitate. The small price difference is absolutely worth it. Not driven in wet but expect similar
