I never wanted Jaumo to give any of my private information out! Any site that does this is horrible!!!

It was fun chatting and stable network I love the app

This was a funny one for me. Met this "girl", she asked that we chat on whatsapp, I was cool with that, then she asked me to delete the app so she knows she has me all to herself. I was a bit reluctant bc I hadn't met her yet, so why talk like we've made plans for our future together. I chose to do it eventually, bc to be fair, the 2-3 weeks on the app had been horrible. After I deleted:
Girl: blah blah blah subscription
Me: I'll never send money blindly to anyone
Girl: blah blah blah aren't you ashamed you can't prove yourself as my man
Mad Me: aren't you ashamed you can't afford your own subscription.
I then blocked and reported to whatsapp.

The number of fake profiles is ridiculous, particularly those who don't have the blue mark (verification).

Some others would ask you to chat on telegram, "sex and money", pretty much hookers with social media, but some say "models". I stayed as long as I did simply bc I wanted to use up my subscription, get value for my money, a total of about £30 for 3 months, but tbf staying there 3 months wouldn't get me any value, just more scammers. I'm Nigerian, we pretty much invented the scamming game haha - it's not something to be proud abt - but you the picture.

Avoid at all costs. I am writing my congressman to get them banned in United States. Nothing but bots and a scam to get your hard earned money!!!!!

This is the worst garbage on the internet. Every single profile is fake and the company knows it. Why the government doesn't step in not only shut down these sites but arrest the owners fro fraud is proof the government doesn't care about taxpayers

Jaumo and Bloom, both copy of profiles, both full of fake profiles, english peoples who writes to live somewhere else inspute on ther profile they show as they live 20km from you. Than can only ly be achieved with AI intelligence. Waiste of the consumers their time because if youbreally look to find somebody you will get robbed if you pay , because you get nothing. Also non stop fake likes from profiles who like you and after 2 minutes those profiles are not reacheble anymore. This is done in purpose to steal money from you. After weeks of reporting fake profiles it even get worse. 4 likes, identic same names 4 different pictures 4 different areas. Its a total scam , thats what i see after using it for a long while

So I am reviewing the Bloom dating app which is offered by the same company, Joyride GmbH which offers the Jaumo dating app. Effectively, most likely the same data being mined and presented differently via the apps. I paid for a 3 month subscription which has just ended and thankfully only cost me £16.19GBP.

My review, if I could rate it 0/5 I would. Like many others, this is in my opinion a scammer's paradise and most profiles have no verification. I am in my early 50s and I had hundreds of "female profiles" from mostly age 18 to in their 40s. However, the vast majority of these were of good looking women and often would have their preferred age range say in their profile e.g. 25-88 years, 45-90 years and of course, most >100km to my location. Yeah, right, most women in their late teens or 20s are looking for middle aged men. Just smells fake fake fake to me.Majority of profiles had just one photo, some profiles were of long haired caucasian blonde and then profile has them as Indian, Asian or African. I even had one blue-eye beauty stating she had brown eyes on her profile. Really, you do not know what colour of your eyes are. Smells red flags and fake to me that it is actually scammers setting up profiles to entice males.

So until these dating sites introduce proper verification, do yourself a favour and do not trust what you see as if something seems just too good, it is, scammers are ruining the app dating experience for many.

Do I trust any app from Joyride GmbH. No, not after this experience so if this company is serious about people finding love, my one callout to you is force everyone to be ID verified, not just photo verified as that can be cheated.

Account now deleted and app uninstalled.

About 80% of the womens' profiles are either AI generated or fake. Lots of scammers on here and a huge amount of Africans posing as Americans. GARBAGE SITE.

There's nobody real on this app it's 90% guys and 10% REAL women most of the so called women on here are fake and more likely is actually a dude pretending to be a girl to scam ppl and they use pictures of instagram models or tik tock girls wouldn't surprise me if the ppl who work for this app create fake profiles to lure men in to pay for thier fake app ..be aware and stay away and don't pay

This site is a joke. I must have met More than 100 scammers on this site wanting gas money grocery money game card money and the list goes on and on. I did not meet one legitimate person on the site and obviously as you can see by the ratings this site is one of the worst and I hope that you don't have to have your time wasted and be disappointed like I did and obviously all the other people who wrote negative reviews.

100% fake profiles, 99% fake reviews.
How they've achieved 4.6 stars makes a mockery of the rating system. Mostly AI bots, but all fake.

DO NOT BUY PREMIUM VERSION it's only Nigerian scammers, Asian selling bitcoin and fake profiles for porn.. The worst part is to many young children using this app.

I am deeply disappointed with the level of customer service and their lack of ethics I have received from this company. After registering on Jaumo, I encountered a person who is my ex, as I later discovered, had a history of being an active STD carrier and was involved in domestic abuse. I reported his profile to Jaumo, urging them to investigate the matter, but to my shock, they responded by suggesting I have the police contact them before they would take any action. This request came even after I provided a police report reference number and photographs of my injuries.

As a responsible company, Jaumo should have taken immediate steps to investigate and address the situation themselves, prioritizing the safety and well-being of their users. Instead, they treated this serious matter with indifference, showing a lack of concern for public safety. It is disheartening to think that other individuals could potentially be harmed by this person due to the company's inadequate response. If Jaumo truly cared about the safety of its members, they would have acted swiftly and appropriately without placing the burden on the victims.

for 2 months I have been paying a phantom subscription to this application without wanting the VIP function, I am being harassed with letters, I no longer have an account with them

This app doesn't deserve 1 star it deserves -10 stars. It is a sorry excuse for a dating / social app. What it is, is a melting pot of fake profiles, bots (probably introduced by the developers themselves) and fraudulent / scammy activity.

Pros with the app: Tokens / credits are easy to get by watching ads and completing sections of your profile. Unfortunately that's where the pros end.

Cons with the app: KYC / Verification is compromised or not implemented properly. I have tested it out 3 times and the AI verification flow or automation fails to recognise the actual person creating the profile. I barely centred my face and it verified me in less than a second. I also tried it with family members and it also verified me as a verified user on my profile. If these guys have a compliance or onboarding team, they're either not fit for purpose or couldn't give a toss about onboarding KYC.

The other concerning factor is that the app makes no attempt to follow through with their content take down policy when it comes to reporting and I'm not even sure they have one. Considering they offer subscription packs, it would be interesting to see what their acquirer has to say alongside the card schemes. ( I will look into this as its a due diligence item required by VISA and MC when it comes down to adult and dating merchants / apps). I personally never pay to subscribe to any form of dating app even the much larger established competitors.

I have grabbed IP addresses from users which have majorly originated from West Africa, China and the US pretending to be someone completely different on their profile which was also corroborated by the fact that reverse image searches resulted in 9/10 searches having images used from other sources on the web. I've had the privilege of matching with the same (Verified profile!) 5 times under different names, same images and different profile information. Each time I reported it to the app. What do you think Jaumo did? Nothing. That's right absolutely nothing. Why? Because they are not equipped to combat fake profiles neither do they care. It suits them to charge you for a subscription where 90% of their database are bots or fake / fraudulent users and then cover it by some clause in their T&C's.

Their solution is to reply to you with a canned response they copy and paste afterwhich...(You guessed it... ) They will continue doing nothing about it.

My suggestion to everyone considering using the app who's intention is to meet or socialise with real people to stay away from Jaumo if they value their time,money and online safety. It is not a safe app and unless you like talking to bots and Nigerian Yahoo boys, it's best to give this app a miss.

Absolutely Awful app. Full of fake profiles that will talk to you normally with only one goal. To SCAM YOU!!
