After a few one-on-one lessons with Alberto, I started investing using the Jaspersdoor methodology.
The programme is very straightforward and is firmly grounded in academic research. It's fascinating how such a complex topic can be explained so simply.
I also worked for a financial consulting company and showed Jaspersdoor to my former manager, who said he found it "very well structured".
This approach is certainly interesting for those with a financial background, but it is also useful for beginners, helping them to understand what is important to focus on in an investment while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
I'll keep investing with Jaspersdoor for a few years and will be back with an update.

I came from a bad experience with trading, where everyone thinks they can get rich fast.
Jasper's Door course was a breath of fresh air on long-term, balanced investing.
I think the part I loved most was actually how little I need to do.

I've taken 5-6 investment courses already, and more often than not, they end up focusing on moving averages and similar concepts.

This course was different. There was no complex math or chart analysis involved. In fact, it’s the first time I’ve seen a course so deeply rooted in research that it’s surprising more people aren’t doing it.

Alberto also made a point to explain everything in the simplest way possible, so straightforward that even a ninth grader could start investing after this!

P.S. A truly passive investment doesn’t exist, but this approach comes very, very close. Killer!

I decided to Alberto "Jasper"'s free course and I promised I'd write a review after attending the course so here it is.

Even though the teaching style ain't perfect yet (which is actually why he's keeping the course free at first), the content is seriously valuable. The course breaks down the why, what and how of investing based on academic research and Alberto's experience.

It's one of those instances where you think something it's really complicated until the teacher makes it click and you realise that it's not so hard after all

After the course you'll know what actually works when it comes to investing, and you'll have the freedom to do it on your own if you want.
