I have gone several years without playing guitar, and COVID gave me the extra time I needed. I had been following a number of on-line teaching, and specific song videos until I discovered Jamie Harrison's courses. Remarkably well done, easy to follow with the ability of getting into more detail or not.
Jamie's skills are truly excellent, but his ability to communicate and teach these is rather remarkable.
Over and above all of this great course material, you actually get a personal touch... Jamie seems to reach out to everyone that is enrolled!

Jamie’s guitar lessons are great for learning the style of such strat legends as Jimi, SRV and the modern genius that is John Mayer.

the courses are very detailed but what i like about them is if you are a person just playing alone these course help you create something more musical and connected than simply trying to nail some
solo in isolation

Jamie is an awesome guitarist and one of a kind teacher. His courses are perfectly splitted and easy to follow. I always get back to his lessons as opposed to some other lessons I paid for out there. I'm now making real progress on the guitar.

I have only bought one class from Jamie and I believe it was a great investment, he is great at explaining, the support materials are very professional. There are some challenges some times to see exactly what fingers were used to play a note but they were very minimal.
I would buy another one but I need to master this one first. Keep the good work Jamie

I have played guitar for many years but really not understood what I was playing and never progressed from the very basics.
I finished a beginners course which was excellent and now I am progressing through more advanced lessons small chunks at a time.
Jamie is very thorough and I find the information excellent and laid out in an easy to follow progression.

Jamie’s courses are the most extensive yet detailed courses one could imagine. They are meticulously prepared and there is not a SINGLE thing of information one could miss! Perfection comes with a price tag, however one can see how much effort and work is put in here, so it is absolutely worth it!

Jamie is from another planet. I've improved my playing skills and enjoy Jamie's courses every step. He does such an amazing job!

Honestly the best online course I found. Wish I did it earlier. I jumped in with some of the song courses and then I had a look at the beginner course out of curiosity: really well made and on point, as I said, wish I’ve found it at the beginning of my journey!

This is a brilliant course that gives a step by step easy to follow guide to playing the guitar. I have been playing for a long time and still continue to learn new things. I would and have recommended Jamie's course to anyone that is interested in learning to play.

I purchased the "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room" lesson from Jamie’s website a few days ago and just “finished” learning the intro. As an intermediate guitarist, I assumed I would just download the tabs and ignore the video lessons. I was wrong.

Jamie is a PHENOMENAL teacher. His explanations of both the techniques and individual notes are slow enough that you can easily follow along without being too long that you find yourself skipping through the video. Each lesson is also broken down into easily digestible sections WITH the corresponding section of tab below the video. I'm not talking about the cheesy scrolling tabs that some online teachers use that are impossible to follow. The webpage shows the video in a small window with static tabs below it so both are always in view. Genius.

If you’re on the fence about buying his lessons: do it. You will not regret it. It’s clear how much time and effort he put into them. I can guarantee when I finish this one I’ll be buying more.

I've been through a lot of online lessons, and I simply cannot get over how surprised and impressed I am with the format, content, and quality of this one. Well done, Jamie. You have a life-long student.

Side note: When I bought the lesson it didn't immediately show up in my account. I sent an email and Jamie almost immediately replied and resolved the issue on the spot. So customer service gets 5 stars, too.

I got better immediately. Great value for money since there’s a lot of work behind it. It’s a good framework to work the songs and push you to do it. I’ve barely scratched it and as a struggling amateur with not a lot of time and determination to put the work in, immediately got some great licks. Also Jamie is super thoughtful and easy to reach out to.

I came across this cover of Slow Dancing In A Burning room a couple of years ago and I was amazed by how good this guy Jamie Harrison was! It was so inspiring and I love the way he played the song and wanted to be able to play it as well. I also saw that Jamie had a website where there was a tutorial on how to play like he did in his cover so I bought it. It’s was lot of money, but it really was worth it in the end since you got so much in the course!!

He has made a tutorial with about 15 videos (probably 24 hours in total) where he goes in to every detail on how to play like he did from start to finish. You get a lot of tips, music theory, tabs on the whole song, chords, backing track to play along and really good experience overall.

His course changed my life in a lot of ways! I never thought I would be able to play as good as he did in that cover but now I can and have a lot of more knowledge that I didn’t have before. I got into a music school with this song thanks to Jamie. You get a lot more than just your usual tutorials on YouTube and you can tell that he has put his whole heart in this website and all the tutorials. There is a lot of work behind it. I promise you it is really worth it! :)

It's a great course that I can learn many things which is difficult to find on YouTube.
