The best beginner guitar lessons I've had.
Jamie uses few words to move the player quickly along with the key steps to being able to start playing songs.
It's a fun learning experience that is easy to grasp hold of the technic and theory of guitar playing.

I first picked up a guitar at the age of 9, and I was deeply passionate about playing guitar as a teenager. I peaked around the age of 17, where I was a lot in guitar hero stuff. As the years passed, however, my musical tastes evolved, and I started to gravitate more towards Hendrix or John Mayer than Satriani and Van Halen. However, my playing style didn't evolve with my changing tastes, and I found myself playing less and less, even though my love for music remained undiminished.
Then, two years ago - more than 20 years after I started learning guitar, I stumbled upon Jamie Harrison's online courses. It was the jolt I needed to resume my guitar journey. I made a symbolic transition, trading my (incredible) Vigier Excalibur for a very nice Strat. With Jamie's courses, I delved into great songs like "Bold as Love," for which I never thought I'd muster the effort to learn. While the songs covered by the course aren't easy tunes and this course is not for beginners, Jamie makes them as accessible as possible. Most importantly, it’s pure joy when you finally play them.

I'm typically not one to leave comment online, but this time, I felt compelled. Jamie's course reignited my passion for the guitar, bringing back the same excitement I felt as a teenager. So here's a heartfelt shoutout – Thank you, Jamie, for reminding me why I fell in love with the guitar in the first place!

At this point I know the Bold As Love video and the others in this series by @JameHarrisonGuitar are many years old, but they are still doing the job intended. Based on these videos I bought the Everything Bundle (when that was a thing) and have worked through the beginner course and the Crossing the Bridge course. I have now just started Bold As Love and I am f#%king loving it. These courses have given me so much focus and allowed my practice time to feel like it has a point. Learning scales and riffs etc is fine, but without a way to implement and use them it can feel empty. These courses give you all that technical skills, but through the vessel of a performance piece. Something you can really play. And to top it off, they are fun fun fun. Jamie is an excellent teacher and I can’t recommend these courses enough. Can’t wait to continue to get better. Thanks Jamie.

Buying JGH Course/Bundle is defining the individual who has taken the right path in deciding to get the tuition on the highest level with clear and simple approach possible....through top end detailed videos, tabs and backing tracks to play along. For me personally the content represents a legacy that will be appreciated for the generations to come. Very easy to use website and very comprehensive lessons. Would definitely recommend as he covers lessons that most teachers wouldn’t cover, such as specific live versions of songs. Which I absolutely loved. Thanks!

One of the most talented guitar players on the internet. Videos are clear, concise and easy to follow. If you are an intermediate-expert guitar player, these videos are well worth the money. I have spent some money on one on one lessons before and these trump anything I have experienced by far.

I have played guitar for almost 12 years, but have never found the time to sit down and master guitar/music theory. I have tried many books or only tutorials but nothing has stuck until I took the plunge and did Jamie's Music Theory Mastery course. Jamie made the topic enjoyable and easy to follow. Genuinely the best guitar lessons I have ever experienced and he is incredibly good at responding to you when you have a suggestion or question.

He's (clearly) an excellent guitarist but he's also an excellent teacher. Lessons are relaxed but thorough and the video editing is great, allowing you to see important details and techniques up close. Jamie clearly invested a huge amount of time into the course and it shows. Absolutely worth the money.

Even if tabs are available, as Jamie explains, better to (try to) reproduce what we see and listen to in the video, as Jamie shows great pedagogy.

Worth every penny! I've been playing over 25 years, and Jamie's courses are some of the very best I've come across. He manages to deliver lessons that are complete, effective, and very well done. Most importantly, they are consumable. Others have great content, but it never makes its way into my playing like Jamie's lessons do. They WILL make you a better player, and you'll come away with something you'll be proud of and willing to perform. He addresses not just how to play the song, but how to perform it by offering recommendations on dynamics or phrasing, techniques like raking, or skills like looping. These lessons will make you a better player and add solid content to your repertoire. If you have a problem, he responds personally and resolves it without question. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these to anyone. Really. Heck, they are so good I'd be willing to offer my own guarantee!

I already knew that Jamie had mastered things that I needed to learn just from the YouTube videos alone, but I was blown away by the depth of technique and nuanced approach to the "feel" and ownership of the sound that he teaches! I've grown tired of just getting a tab or the chords of a song because what I really want in my musical pursuit is to own the sound and express music the way I feel it and want to share it. This is the first time I've started to understand this at this level. Thanks Jamie!

Bought the Gimme Shelter course a long time ago, as the Youtube video popped in my feed and was really good.
I did work on it quite a lot, I even bought a two-track looper pedal and a mic to capture my rendition of it, and at the end I was able to produce something really convincing! So much that when I'm asked to share a bit of me playing, now I always share this one.

I was nothing but VERY SATISFIED with Jamie's course, it was very thoroughly put together, the explanations were super clear, there were details about the setup (guitar, amp, amp settings, DAW...) the arrangement was a banger, really 10/10 experience. Gives me a feeling of best money ever spent.
