Jack is a fantastic tutor and I cannot recommend him strongly enough. Our daughter needed help in further maths and he has a subject expertise, patience and teaching skills that have enabled her to make huge progress. He always provides detailed follow-up on what each lesson covered and how our daughter is performing in specific areas, such as mechanics and statistics. We are very lucky to have found him.

We are currently using Jack as a tutor to support my son with his Maths A level. When I contacted Jack, he suggested having a pre- meeting with my son and I to discuss his needs and to make sure we were both happy with the tutoring arrangements. As a parent I appreciated this. My son has been with Jack around 2 months now and is growing in confidence and already increasing his ability levels. Jack always sends my son and I feedback with how he is progressing and my son is really happy with how the sessions are going. I have no hesitation in recommending Jack to others.

Jack is honestly an amazing tutor, he is super patient with the student and really helps out in the areas that u are struggling in! I have had wonderful sessions with Jack and hopefully many more to come!

Jack worked with our son to coach him through his Mechanical Engineering HNC course. He came to our house and supported him face to face in the main but also ran a couple of remote sessions.

We were really impressed with Jack. He is hugely knowledgeable in a broad range of subjects - not just Maths - which meant he was ideal for supporting my son in his HNC.

He is very professional, calm and patient. He is also very diligent in preparing for sessions and in following up after sessions as needed.

Jack was very flexible, in particular towards the end of the course when more ad-hoc support was needed. We could always rely on Jack to find the time to help our son.

Overall, Jack is an amazing tutor and I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Jack has been tutoring our son in maths and we hope he will continue for the next 2 years up to GCSE. We had an online discussion with Jack where he clearly explained how he approaches tutoring. Since then our son has had several session and we are more than happy with how they are going. Our son's feedback is extremely positive and he is certainly feeling more confident in the areas he has covered with Jack. As we approach exams we plan to expand the sessions to include study techniques. Jack came highly recommended and I can only endorse that. Great tutor.

Jack is patient and able to explain concepts in a way that my 9 year-old son finds interesting e.g. they worked out the area of our garden as part of last week’s session. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him!

Jack is very understanding and taught very well starting with learning the content and then once I was fully confident with the knowledge of the subject we would do past paper questions to ensure I was well prepared for my exam. Jack was very flexible with times to do the lesson which was incredibly helpful to plan whilst doing revision for other subjects.

He has been tutoring me biophysics for my med school. (Calculation, theory ,lab topic).
He’s very clear and flexible in teaching as well as he has been helping me a lots!! He will teach you with your pace and whenever you ask him questions, he will give you back the answer with many details!!

Jack is a knowledgeable and very dedicated tutor. He helped my son over the last 3 years to prepare for Common Entrance exam. He managed to keep him engaged and curious about exploring advanced Maths concepts as well as took the initiative to begin doing some coding with him. I always get a feedback about his progress at the end of each lesson and a plan for the following ones. I highly recommend Jack for tutoring for his reliability, experience and commitment.

Jack has been tutoring my son for several years. Many tutors have a one-size-fits-all approach, or only work with top students to maximise their results. Jack is completely different to that. He gets to know a student and their learning profile and tailors his approach to work toward their goals. He is knowledgeable, patient, encouraging and flexible. My son feels extremely comfortable with Jack and has progressed through several math topics with his help. I highly recommend Jack.

Jack has been helping my son since 2019, first when my son was put into a higher maths set and was struggling to keep up, then to prepare for GCSE. In that time, Jack as proved invaluable. He has a lovely way about him - he's patient, calm and excellent at explaining abstract concepts in a way that is clear and easy to understand. My son genuinely enjoys his lessons with Jack and his grades have improved substantially: he took Statistics GCSE a year early and got grade 7, and is on-track to do well in Maths GCSE this year.

Jack has been fantastic with our 7 year old who has had extra year 3 tuition in maths and literacy. Our son is now much more confident and enjoys the lessons. He often manages to fit in homework set by the school and really cares about our sons development.
