Missing Sofas
Ordered sofa on friday 27th March. Was advertised as dispatched the same day. This didn't happen. Contacted the store and was told it had been put on a pallet and would be dispatched on Monday. Again, this did not happen. I was then told dispatch takes 2-3 days, which is not as advertised nor what I was previously told.
Also told delivery is 1 or 2 working days, explained where I am (Scottish Highlands) and was then told 3 days. Absolutely fine, should receive it no later than Thursday the 2nd then. Again, no. When the delivery company finally started their tracking the delivery date was Wednesday the 8th of April. Called the store and asked what is going on, they told me that it was delayed due to Easter. This is despite the advertised delivery date being before the Easter weekend and then also why Wednesday the 8th and not the day before (Tuesday) absolutely no answers.
Today is "delivery day" no tracking updates. Called the delivery company who gave me the number for the "local" delivery team (200 or so miles away) who said that the package had not left the company hub in Leicester and they had absolutely no information about why. Called the main company yet again who stated they cannot see any information on the package as the sender is not one of their corporate accounts???
Contacted the store yet again who at present have no information other than they are waiting to hear from the delivery person company.
I warned the store about this a week ago, the delivery company in question has 80% 1 star reviews on this review site. They obviously did absolutely nothing despite me asking them to.
In Short, absolutely abysmal "service" do not buy from this site.
